SNHS Arepalli-Karumuri Family Grant - $1000: https://sciencenhs.org/ SNHS student member who has excelled in a Science Fair
2025 - Oluwatomilola (Tomi) Femi-Adejuwon.
The Indiana Academy of Science held a scholarship contest where students had to perform research on their own time and present their results in a science fair format. Tomi studied how different magnetic field shapes change the way ferrofluid droplets move, including their speed, direction, and whether they merge. By comparing six magnet arrangements, the research showed that geometry not just magnetic strength plays a major role in controlling droplet behavior. She did her research at home over fall break. Tomi won first place! This gave her a $1,500 scholarship so far and an all expenses paid trip to represent Indiana at the American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS) conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
