After Completing Long Day’s Journey Into Night in the department, most students performed scenes from Eugene O’Neill’s play. I chose a different approach—not just to act, but to make the experience more engaging by creating a video that combined performance with creative editing.

Long Day’s Journey Into Night
Unlike my video-based approach to Long Day’s Journey Into Night, I directly engaged in performance by playing the role of Bobby in Final Solutions by Mahesh Dattani during a play performance at the New Court Hall.
Among the many memorable moments of this journey, playing the character of Bobby was perhaps the most personally transformative for me.
I broke down the art of film analysis into five essential cinematic elements Mise-en-scène, Cinematography, Editing, Sound, and Performance using popular films to show how every frame and sound carries deliberate meaning.
Books are full of moments that make you stop, think, and wonder. In this series, I pick one powerful line, idea, or question from a book — something that challenges, provokes, or moves you — and present it as a short, crisp video. But the story doesn't end there. Every short links to my detailed blog where I dive deeper into that idea, explore its meaning, and connect it to the larger world of literature and thought. It's my way of turning a book into a dialogue — one short, one blog, one big idea at a time.
In this video, I gave a short review of the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. I flipped through the actual book pages to show its content while explaining that real change comes from building habits, not motivation. I ended by describing the book as a simple guide for small daily actions that lead to big improvements over time.
