VLSI SOC Workshop series 2022

Timings:

Thursday, Friday 7pm to 9pm

Saturday, Sunday 2pm to 6.30pm

with a 30 minute break at 4pm

•Conduct 4 day workshop in each of below domains

•System Verilog for Design – Basics

•System Verilog for Design – Advanced

•Cover CDC, FIFO, AHB/AXI bus, basic processor architecture

•Project 1: System Verilog Design

•System Verilog for verification – Basics

•System Verilog for verification – Advanced

•Project 2: System Verilog Verification

•UVM methodology

•Project 3: UVM Project

•FPGA Design and prototype

•Project 4: FPGA Design and prototype

•ASIC Implementation – Part 1 and 2

•Project 5: ASIC Implementation

•The proposal includes 13 modules part of 4 tracks end to end, with 5 projects

•Each workshop is for 4 days

•Thursday, Friday 7pm to 9pm

•Saturday, Sunday : 2pm to 4pm, 4.30pm to 6.30pm

•Target audience : working professionals with 2 to 3 years experience, students in ECE, EEE, CSE, VLSI – B.Tech and M.Tech: Prerequisite : good knowledge in digital design and processor architecture

•Project need to done offline, and during allocated slots consultation can be done

•Charge a nominal fee, like, Rs. 499 per 4-day workshop and money goes to Bharat Semiconductor Society

•Attendees can register for 1 or more tracks

•Bharath Semiconductor Society will provide e-certificates

•Attendees should attend all labs and projects and get atleast 60% marks to get certificates

•System Verilog for Design – Basics workshop is free and open for ALL, With priority for those who register for all workshops

•Design track

•For those who want to get design skills, write RTL code, block level test benches

•4 weeks including 1 project

•Cost: Rs. 1500

•Verification track

•For those who want to acquire skills in verification domain, build UVM, SV based test benches

•7 weeks including 2 projects

•Cost: Rs. 2500

•FPGA implementation track

•For those who want to acquire FPGA design skills and prototyping

•3 weeks including 1 project

•Cost Rs. 1000

•ASIC Implementation track

•For those who want to acquire RTL to GDS-II flow and skills

•4 week including 1 project

•Cost. Rs. 1500

•All workshops have 50% theory and 50% practical labs
