Motion

Students learned how to control shutter speed to either freeze motion or intentionally blur it. Through experimentation, they explored how this inherent function of the shutter can shape a viewer’s experience of movement, time, and energy.
Students were then tasked with creating dynamic photographs that freeze action with clarity and blur motion expressively to convey a sense of momentum and atmosphere.
