It gives me great pleasure to welcome you as a student to the premier College of our Institution. The P.D.E.A. has been grooming and developing the students last 73 years. We are determined to transform P.D.E.A. into a top-class educational institution in the years to come.

Pune District Education Association (PDEA), the parent organization of the college was established on 7th September 1941, as a charitable with a motto of 'Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay' meaning, 'Welfare and Happiness for the masses' - the principle PDEA works on.

Great social reformer Late Shri Baburaoji Golap was the founder member of PDEA. Under his able leadership, PDEA was able to open 350 primary school in short period of time. These schools were started all over Pune district of Maharashtra in area where there were no existing schools within the reach.

Pune District Education Association's (PDEA) colleges and schools are shrines of knowledge where students receive quality education and develop capabilities to accept challenges for competitions.

Our trust, incepted in 1941 with the clear vision of 'Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay' and the mission of providing basic education to eradicate illiteracy prevalent in those times, has now blossomed into a conglomerate of schools, colleges and technical institutions. The trust has been engaged in providing students the concept of one-stop-shop for education i.e. completing their entire education from schooling to graduation to post graduation to Ph. D. in the traditional arts, science, commerce as also the computer science, pharmacy, management, Ayurveda, engineering, microbiology etc. at one place.

We at the PDEA's colleges and schools believe in all-round holistic development of our students through a multitude of curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular programs.

I would like to make a special mention here that our college received the "Best College Award from Pune University on Feb-2011. Our work has been recognized by the University. The award consists of a cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh 50 Thousand a Trophy and a certificate As a team, we have scaled heights. P.D.E.A has also honoured us with "Best College Award". Trophy during year 2010. We have extended our work to the society. In an effort to protect environment , we have planted a large number of trees; for which Pimpri -Chinchwad Corporation has honored our college with a Trophy and a cash prize during 2011.
