When you first open this program, your screen will look like this.
Click on New
Press Create.
We now have our new document.
We will do a straightforward design to demonstrate how to save and export.
We are going to draw three rectangles and colour them.
Saving and exporting your work in Affinity are similar to most other programs.
All you need to do is come up to the top of the screen to File, and then you can press Save As.
Then, you can go where you want to save your file.
You can give it the name First.
Press Save.
This will save your file as an Affinity Designer file on your computer, which means you can access it anytime, open it, and continue working.
But what if you're done with your design and want to share this finished work with someone else?
Click on File and then click on Export.
All you need to do now is press Export to save it as a PNG file.
You can give your file a name and then save it.
After you've exported your PNG, you can share your design with anyone.
