  • Go to the IG Member App > click on Handicap Record > Click the white clipboard icon at the top right hand side of the screen and register your round (Please do so when at the Club).

  • After your game, use the IG app and go back to the white clipboard to input your score, take a photo of the card and submit.

  • You will then see your score on your handicap record the next morning.

To do a General Play card at another Club: -

The most user friendly way is an app designed by England Golf (The app is called My EG). This allows you to enter a score at any course, including Berkhamsted (you just have to be within 5 miles of it!).

To enter a score of the My EG App please see the below instructions: -

Click ‘Enter Score’ at foot of dashboard screen

  • Click ‘Create’

  • Choose the course – you have to be within 5 miles of it.

  • Choose ‘marker’ – this means the tees you are about to play from, and choose 18 holes, or F9 or B9 if only doing 9 holes.

  • Name playing partner (not obligatory). They must have a CDH number. They do not have to also be doing a general play card. But they will have to attest your score after you have finished your round.

  • You may enter the score for each hole as you go - or enter them after your round.

  • After you’ve played, and not before 2 hours after pre-registering for a 9 hole round, or 4 hours for 18 holes, finalize the score, click on ‘signature’ and sign on your phone.

  • Enter your playing partner’s name as attestor. They will be sent a message on the MyEG app asking to approve or reject your score.

  • Once they have done so, you will get a message saying that the score has been approved, and you will see it immediately on your dashboard. Please be aware though that It may change overnight as PCC may be applied at midnight.

Any General Play card submitted, but not pre-registered, will not be accepted for any purpose
