A typical class timetable:

1030 (1000 if Sangha present)

 (upper and lower classes together) 

• attendance taking and settling in, 

• puja and offering

1045 -(classes then split according to age group and are taken by different teachers into different rooms)

Class activities are centered around Dhamma themes that are age appropriate. 

For example:

• Theme of discussion for the week - Loving kindness

• Activity around the theme eg story time re siddhartha and the swan.

• mindfulness activity eg loving kindness meditation 

• art/craft or physical activity eg song/dance relating to theme 

1135 - 1145 -wrap up of lesson, recombining classes, 

• song

• closing puja. 

1145 - food reflection and communal light lunch/snacks

1200 - dismissal ( children can go up to the back portion of the Dhamma Hall on level 2 to wait for parents once the adult service is over)
