RAY LC (MFA Parsons, PhD UCLA) creates exhibitions and interventions using environmental storytelling and human-machine interactions. He takes inspiration from his own research in human-computer interaction in works that probe human community’s evolving relationship with technology. Exhibitions include BankArt, NYSCI, Saari Residency, KYOTO Design Lab, Elektra Montreal, Ars Electronica, New Museum, CICA Museum, NYC Short Documentary Film Festival, NeurIPS, Elektron Tallinn, Floating Projects, JCCAC, Soho House, Goethe Institute, Osage Gallery, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Science Gallery Detroit, IEEE VISAP, SIGGRAPH Asia. Mia Yao is a writer and documentary maker based in Hong Kong. She obtained an MA in journalism from Hong Kong Baptist University and worked with several documentary production teams. As a filmmaker, she believes in the power of non-fiction visual storytelling and nonverbal communication in the craft of documentary and immersive filmmaking. Bhavisha is a year 1 MFA student. Her main areas of interests include combining the intersection between art, design, and business development. My work combines abstract elements inspired from popular culture such as music, television shows and cartoons. I am excited to explore more growing forms of immersive technology and art in the Web 3 space. Stella, an MFA student in Creative Media. Her works often focus on several social issues, and are always obsessed with the stylistic imagery of childhood memory and the early stages of the internet. WANG Shuxin Yan is a student studying for a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong. Wang enjoys using text and images, found objects, and sound to do collages and montages for an experimental video. Engages in abstract animation and cinema film, as well as photography. She loves exploring and researching through an art way to say something.Kerwin is a research assistant at the School of Creative Media who is interested in exploring the creative applications of XR, AIGC, and BCI. Currently he is trying to explore the perception of people with the Diffusion Models and Large Language Models. He is also a designer and director who created fictional stories and animation videos of future products. Lucy Ling, a graduate student at Tongji Design and Innovation College, is pursuing a master's degree in Interaction Design after completing her undergraduate studies in Computer Science. She aims to integrate technology and humanistic care in her work to promote community awareness of user-friendly interfaces in human-computer interaction. She strives to deepen understanding of innovative interaction models, including robotics and LLMs, through her creative efforts.
