The Arc’s Wings for Autism®/Wings for All® (Wings) program gives families and aviation professionals the confidence to take to the skies with ease by providing an airport “rehearsal,” as well as a presentation on the aircraft features and in-flight safety protocols. Chapters of The Arc, local partners, and airport/airline/TSA personnel work collaboratively to design and carry out each Wings event.
Boston's Logan Airport has a Sensory / Calming Room that is accessible for passengers with sensory or special needs. This room is designed to address their needs as they rest and prepare for flight. The room even includes an Airplane Simulation Room for practicing the on-board aircraft experience.

The Sensory Room is located in Terminal E, post-security near gate E15, and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To access the Sensory Room, enter the code by pressing the buttons 1-4-3 and then press the ENTER button before turning the door handle.
