On Earth is a podcast by the Pacific Museum of Earth that explores the stories of earth scientists from diverse disciplines in an effort to showcase science "beyond the lab coat." I had the privilege of joining Daniel Gowryluk to discuss my research on the water masses reaching the Salish Sea, sharing my enthusiasm for unraveling the sea's climate resilience, and highlighting its significance.

In this episode my colleague Sam and I had a lot of fun talking about why we find the ocean so mesmerizing, eating a lot of pancakes, and expanding our ocean-themed playlists with each other's and listener's tune recommendations!

I had the pleasure of being interviewed by UBC Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies after receiving a NSERC CGS-D scholarship in 2023. I went over what attracted me to UBC in the first place and gave some advice for current or prospective grad students on time-management and navigating the supervisor-graduate student relationship. I enjoyed reflecting on my path to oceanography, including a my high school aptitude test results (marine biologist or oceanographer) that I definitely did not take seriously at the time.
