LGBTQ+

 JUNE WAS PRIDE MONTH!
"Nowhere" (1997) - by Gregg Araki  ...not to be missed.

"This one struck a chord with me... " in my life growing up between Brooklyn and Manhattan ...between NYC and the Hamptons/South Fork... between the East Coast and Los Angeles/Orange Co.  "...its as close to 'the real thing' as anyone is ever going to let a Director or Production Company get..."

It is not soley about being gay but includes that LGBTQ+, along with the 'party scene' and 'teen angst world'/'the kiddie kingdom' (the three being separate cultures from 'the mainstream adult world') have always been a solid part of society along with 'everything else' growing up).  It portrays this unlike anything I have ever viewed and this film brought back some 'true to life' memories and  experiences of the 'real world' I grew up in ...a world which is seldom like what we usually see in Film or Television but did (and still does) exist.

The cast is an amazing lineup ...the trailer doesn't even cover half of the recognizable people/actors/celebs that are in it.  You don't have to be 'gay' to enjoy this one but it sure will appeal to you if you are. - Editor Between►press
