I am a Research Associate at the Institute of Law and Economics, University of Hamburg.

My research is situated at the intersection of development economics and international law. In my work, I focus on how women's rights influence female migration flows, as well as the effectiveness of development aid in shaping broader migration patterns. A second strand of my research focuses on states' decisions to comply with international law.
