Our vision

We believe innovation is not simply the manufacturing of a product or business, but the process in which an idea is incepted and introduced to the world. We want to help students explore social change through innovation and technology, and understand and where and how innovation itself creates change in the MIT community and beyond.

WHAT MAKES BEtTERMIT DIFFERENT FROM A HACKATHON?

We strive to reach an audience not focused simply on a single discipline, but in making the world better in all fields: those who aim to create change across all disciplines using the mediums of technology and business.

We plan to work with students to understand and develop their own ideas and give them the opportunity to create during the Innovation Challenge.
