Binational muralist seeking to beautify public places through vibrantly colored educational murals. Born and raised in Imperial Valley and Mexicali. SDSU-IV graduate, BA Psychology with a focus on research methods. Received 1st place in Student Research Symposium for a research presentation on Latinx women with eating disorders. Worked for UCLA Calma Lab as a research assistant for a study on Latinx children with anxiety in Imperial Valley. Five years of experience in K-12 education as a substitute teacher. Five years experience as a visual artist focused on spray painted murals. SDSU Social Justice Mural competition winner. Far South Border North public art grant recipient. Current Southern Border Coalition sector lead for disinvested communities. Artistic goals are to help change the narrative of Imperial Valley and raise awareness on important issues affecting our community through artivism.
