Are there tryouts?

There are no tryouts!  All cheerleaders who meet the age requirements are encouraged to register!  While there are no tryouts, there will be team placements based on skill level.  Cheerleaders will be most successful when cheering with people at similar talent levels.


Do I have to live in the Town of Bethlehem or attend Bethlehem Central School District?

Bethlehem Cheerleading Club is a community based recreational cheerleading program.  While the majority of our athletes reside within the Town of Bethlehem we do accept athletes who live in neighboring towns and school districts that do not offer a recreational cheer program that meets their needs.  Please email us at BethlehemCheerClub@gmail.com if you have specific questions about signing up for the program as a non resident.


Who runs Bethlehem Cheerleading Club?

Bethlehem Cheerleading Club was created in 2012 by Stephanie Dwyer (formerly Breen) in an effort to offer additional cheerleading options to local athletes.  Having three young children and running a business of her own, Stephanie has secured two AMAZING cheer moms to oversee the program this year.  While Stephanie is still available and helping (from afar) Meghan Gorman and Stephanie Jasinski will be acting as the Director's of the program and will be available to you for all program questions.


Is this program associated with Bethlehem Pop Warner?

No.  Unfortunately after the football program parted ways with the Pop Warner organization our cheerleaders were no longer allowed to cheer at their games.  This really created a void in the program for many families and athletes.  We are SO EXCITED that by creating an independent recreational program we will be able to cheer at the football games again.  This was a decision that we made as a Board and we hope that this recreates that sense of community and comradery between the football and cheerleading programs, athletes and parents!


What is your refund policy?

Due to the upfront, fixed costs of insurance, registrations and developing the program, we will not be able to offer any registration refunds for the 2023 season.
