Game Teams
Our game teams are a great way for your athlete to learn the basic skills of cheerleading in a low cost and commitment program. The season runs 11 weeks long from mid August through October. Details are below. Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.
2023/24 Season Information
Our game teams will cheer for Bethlehem Youth Football teams.
The season will run from August 15th through the end of October.
This is a two day a week commitment.
Practice will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30 pm. The first practice will be held Tuesday August 15th.
Once games begin the Thursday practices will be discontinued and athletes will have practice on Tuesdays and games on Saturdays.
The first game is early September (date TBD).
All games are held on Saturdays. Full game schedule will be emailed as soon as it is available.
All practices will be held outside at Hamagrael Elementary school. If weather does not permit outside practice we will do our best to reschedule at a local indoor location.
Teams will be broken down by grade (entering the 23/24 school year)
Tiny Eagles Pre-K 4 - K (cheer for Jr. Flag)
Mini Eagles 1-2 (cheer for Flag)
Junior Eagles 3-4 (cheer for Jr. Tackle)
Senior Eagles 5-6 (cheer for Sr. Tackle)
Team sizes will be capped in order to keep the teams manageable. Once a team is full we will remove that age option from the registration form. Register early to ensure a spot!
The above team breakdowns are a guideline only. Placement is flexible. Please use question on the registration form to indicate if would like your child placed on a team outside of the above guidelines.
The Tiny Eagle team is contingent on having enough football registration to create the Junior Flag team. In the event that the team is not created, registrants will be contacted to register for the Mini Eagle team (if eligible) or to receive a refund.
Tuition is $170 for the season. Tuition is broken down as follows:
$85 is due at registration
$85 due on 9/15/22.
Uniforms:
There will be a $50 uniform rental/cleaning fee due by July 22nd. No uniforms will be distributed until this fee is paid.
Uniform sizing will take place on Saturday July 22nd from 10 am - 2 pm at Woodlands Elite Albany located at 195 Troy-Schenectady Road, Latham, New York 12110. Uniforms will be distributed at this time. We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE being at this appointment in order to get your uniform on time. Uniform production is approximately 10 weeks. If you wait until the season begins to be sized and we do not have your athlete's size left in stock and we need to order your child a uniform you may not receive it in time for the first game.
Athletes will also need all white, lace up sneakers.
Bows will be provided.
