I will...
Provide hands-on engaging instruction for your students.
Provide all materials and curriculum.
Give currently enrolled students priority for registration.
Provide your student with an interactive notebook full of samples for their TF/ES meetings.
I will not...
Require outside homework.
Require you to commit to more than one semester at a time.
Prorate the class fee due to your student's absence.
Hold your student's spot in my class if you take a semester off.
You will...
Let me know at least two weeks in advance if you would like to register for the next semester.
Request purchase orders through your charter in a timely manner, or
Pay by cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal (bethbellinder@gmail.com) on or before the first day of class.
Bring your student to class consistently and on time. I appreciate being notified of your student's absence.
Drop off no more than 10 minutes early or pick up more than 10 minutes late. I understand that emergencies happen, but please be respectful of my time.
NEW! Pay a late fee of $1 per minute per student for late pickup. This fee takes effect 10 minutes after pickup time. I allow 2 "free" incidents. To clarify, on the third late pickup (more than 10 minutes), there will be a $1/minute fee per student. The fee must be paid in cash when the student returns to class.
Take home and/or take pictures and bring back their interactive notebook after a TF/ES meeting.
You will not...
Have to stay with your child during class (although you are more than welcome to do so.)
Have to supplement. We will be addressing all relevant Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) during the course of the school year.
Have to buy any curriculum or supplies. The class is all-inclusive.
Send your child in their "nice" clothes. This is hands-on science. There will be messes!
