Reluctant Autistic Influencer Aurora’s entire life has been shared online by her mum, Emma, in the name of autism awareness. Now Aurora wants to reclaim her narrative, even if it means cancelling her own mother.

Awareness is a story for today as it delves into autism, disability and neurodivergence, as well as online culture. In a world where social media is taking over, and people are able to hold others to account much more aggressively, Awareness explores how the online world can impact someone’s reality.

Awareness uses an autistic perspective, but has a debate with no right or wrong answer. At its heart, it is about a relationship with a mother and daughter.

"Strong and Spiky"

"There is an urgency to the writing and an original sense of theatricality."
