I connected with Jordan and the Ed Lally Foundation through the experience of sharing my story and co-producing This is My Brave: Baltimore in May 2018. I am honored and humbled to work alongside the dedicated members of the Ed Lally Foundation Board, living out and supporting its mission.

Currently, I collaborate with Jordan and Big Infinite to bring our Mental Health Awareness School Assembly Power of Expression to middle and high schools. We partnered with Ten Twenty Seven Films to record and produce a virtual version of our program that we hope to share far and wide!

Mindful Mental Health Classes 2021

Dear ELF Family,

Have you ever been on a zoom call when someone forgot to turn off their "mute" button ... granting everyone else on the call a brief glimpse into the their reality?

Why are we so afraid to let people into our "real" lives? The mute button gives us the power to "quiet" the real backdrop of our lives.

There are times when I wish I could "mute" my inner voice! Whew, my inner critic can be loud, feisty and even stubborn.

I spent years creating and organizing things on the outside, all so I could attempt to quiet that inner voice. While hustling to prove my worth on the surface, I lost who I was on the inside.

"We've learned that quiet isn't always peace."

- Amanda Gorman

I am discovering that peace is possible. I am learning to turn off the "mute" button and welcome all the thoughts; the good, the bad, and the ugly and greet them with kindness and compassion.

We want to offer you to opportunity to turn off your "mute" button and discover the peace that comes from embracing your true, authentic self.  We want to provide a safe space for you to let go of the tension and stress.

We would like to extend a warm and welcoming invitation to each of you ... to join us for a virtual class (or two). Just come as you are - joyful, depressed, anxious or at ease. Our goal is to make mental health accessible to all.

Check out the link below for details and registration. We would love to see you!

What is Mindful Mental Health?

A proactive approach to mental-emotional wellness through meditation, mindful movement and self-expression. Our hope is to foster healing in the mind & body; improve coping skills by increasing self-awareness and forge connections and remove the sense of isolation that often exacerbates mental health struggles.
