APPLICATION PROCEDURE

All interested participants are invited to apply by May 5, 2025, by sending an email to best.dress25@gmail.com. The application must include an abstract (in English), a CV and a recommendation letter.

The abstract must address the following topics:

·   Biomaterials for tissue engineering

·   Engineering Functionalization of Biomaterials

·   Development of Advanced Biomaterials for  medical device: from bench to market

·   Nanomaterials and Their Biomedical Applications

·   Biomedical Applications In Vitro and In Vivo of Biomaterials

All applicants will be notified by the May 10 2025. Please note that accepted applicants must confirm their participation in a few days after notification.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS

The slides should be prepared in English and will be discussed in Italian. The time scheduled for the oral presentations is 15 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The poster should be in English, and the recommended size is a maximum of 90 cm wide x 120 cm high (vertical design). It is recommended to include the sections recognized in a scientific work: Title, Abstract, Material & Methods, Results and Conclusions. The times for the poster session are indicated in the program. Please note that during the poster session the author must be present for discussion of the work.

Posters must be printed by the author and brought to the Summer School venue.

AWARDS

Scientific committee will attribute 2 awards to the best oral communication and best poster by evaluating scientific content, quality of presentation and synthesis skills. The award consists of a certificate and a gift. All oral communication and posters will be considered for the awards. The awards are presented at the Closing Ceremony of the Summer school.

PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

No registration Fee. The Summer School covers the costs related to:

·   Accommodation in double/triple room (check-in 12- check-out 14 June)

·   Breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks (12-14 June)

·   Social Dinner (13 June)

·   Summer school materials
