Christmas is celebrated in this South American country with all the fervor of a carnival! The Christmas meal is nothing short of a celebration and is served on Christmas Eve (December 24). Roast turkey, fresh vegetables such as kale, seasonal fruits and Brazil nuts are a prominent part of the lavish meal. Roast pork, fried chicken, and fish are also consumed in many parts of Brazil. A variety of desserts are eaten such as lemon tart, chocolate tart and pies.

Denmark
