Opening Day 1
Cocoa Strike
Enemies : Chocoslime, Pink Chocoslime x2, Pink Chocostungus x2
Make sure to turn off the AUTO, you need to go full manual on this.
The key to this stage is to NOT KILL any enemy yet. Make sure to lower their health until you can kill all of them in a single turn. Bring one healer with you, as the Chocostungus will cast a bleed like attack, which will decrease your hp when every turn ends. It’s a pain, but with a little bit of patience you can get through the stage and get 3 stars.
Bring Morvay with you to take the high damage when the enemies let out their skills. Use Morvay skill in turn 4, and use your healer skill in turn 5. Keep count of the turn and make sure to keep all the enemies health equal. If you kill any of them before you can kill all of the enemy, they will unleash a very devastating attack, not even your healer could handle the amount of HP loss.
When you think you can kill all of them, put the skills (if you have any) to a good use and clear the stage.
Note : I’m not sure if potential could be a help in this stage since everyone will be reduced to lvl 20, but, if you’re stuck, try to raise your main damage dealer and your healer’s potentials.
This is how I do the Opening Day 1. There will be time when I kinda paused, but it is because I was thinking. lol
Opening Day 2
Choco Monster Pounces
Enemies : x1 Choco Mud in Wave 1, x2 Choco Muds in Wave 2, x3 Choco Muds in Wave 3
Turn off the AUTO for this stage too.
Choco Mud attack pattern :
Normal attack > Normal Attack > 2 Targets Attack > Normal Attack > All Targets Attack > Normal Attack > 2 Targets Attack > Normal Attack > All Targets Attack and so on
There will always be one normal attack delay between skills.
Remember the tutorial on how to defend? Yea, you will make good use of it at this stage, I can promise you.
Formation Recommendation : 3 Damage Dealer (preferably high HP), 1 Tank, 1 Healer
1st position and 2nd position in your team should be the damage dealer
3rd position or in the middle should be your healer
4th position you can put either tank or another damage dealer, and you should be good to go.
In the first and second turn, you can attack the enemy normally. It will only use normal attacks before turn 3.
Turn 3, it will start using the 2 Target Attack Skill, Sugary Rush, so put the 4th and 5th member in your party into a defensive stance, and the rest could just attack normally.
In the next turn, the enemy will only do normal attack so you can relax and do any skills or any attack. Make sure to heal with the healer’s skill if they’re ready.
After doing a normal attack, the enemy will attack everyone in your party. If you’re scared for any of them to die, put all of them in a defensive stance, and let the enemy do the attack.
Next turn will be a normal attack again, the pattern will repeat and all you have to do is to always attack AFTER the enemy lets out a skill, and defend AFTER the enemy attacks normally.
In the next turn, the enemy will let out another 2 Target Attack skills. Put the 1st and 2nd member of your team on defense. The skill will only target 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th members of the party. Remember the pattern well.
You can repeat it over and over again until you clear the enemy in Wave 1.
In Wave 2 and 3, you only have to do the same thing as in Wave 1. But, make sure you put everyone in a defensive stance first whenever it is your first turn so you know what action you should take next.
If you're unsure what action to take, go on full defense. It will save you, definitely.
Opening Day 3
Cocoa Love
Enemy : White Lover Edmond and Cocoa Liqueur Yakumo
Edmond’s attack pattern : Normal Attack > Normal Attack > Single Target Skill
Yakumo’s attack pattern : Normal Attack > All Target Skill
Recommended Party Members : 2 Damage Dealer, 1 Healer, Morvay and Aster (If they have the 3 stars buff, it will be better)
I use Aster here purely because he could self-sustain and could recover more health after he used his skill. He also deals a good amount of damage, bonus if he already got “the 3% ATK when there’s Morvay in team” buff.
I survived this stage by pure luck and patience.
In the beginning you can attack them even though it doesn’t deal much. Focus your attacks on Yakumo first because oh gosh his skill is a pain to deal with.
In the second turn, Yakumo and Edmond will get 50% damage because they ate the very bitter and very sweet chocolate. Your attack will do nothing to them now.
After that, they will get angry and you want to put everyone into a defensive stance. Notice that every time Yakumo deals damage to you, Edmond will also get the damage. And the same is happening with Edmond, he will deal damage to you and Yakumo.
You have to be patient here. I used the method Attack > Defend > Attack > Defend and keep an eye on my party members if they will survive the next attack or not.
If you don’t think they will not survive, put them on a defensive stance.
When Yakumo is dead, you can focus on dealing with Edmond. And fighting him is easier because his skill is a single target, although it deals a lot of damage.
I’m defending when he’s done with his second normal attack, and just repeat by keeping an eye to his attack pattern.
Note : Raise your character's potential if you’re feeling stuck. Preferably your healer.
If you're thinking your party won't survive the attack, just defend and then heal in the next turn.
This is how I get through the stages and I want to show you how. I will also make sure that it is easy to understand. This is not the official way to do it, but it is how it works for me.
