Hello everyone, this is Kimchi and I will be here to guide you so you will be able to gacha to your heart’s content in Nu: Carnival's latest event, White Storm.
This guide requires you to make a new account and re-roll, so, bind your old account and log into the game using guest mode only. So you only have to bind your new account later once you get the characters that you want.
Let’s start!
In the beginning there will be a steamy scene, skip it (you can always watch it again later), and read Aster tutorials carefully as he will also guide you to the very basic thing in the game.
Once you’re done with all the tutorials, make sure to hold yourself back from doing gacha.
Clear Chapter 1 with only Aster and Morvay in your team, get the rewards from the chapter, claim all your rewards from daily, weekly, monthly, and personal tabs. And then you can continue to Chapter 2.
Make sure to level up your team to the current max level before you get into Yakumo boss fight as he is a strong first boss you will encounter. He also deals a huge damage to your party every turn, so you might want to be careful.
After fighting Yakumo, you will receive R grade Yakumo.
He is a healer class and will be your main healer for now. Don’t forget to add him to your team.
Raise everyone’s level, raise their potential as well if you can, and proceed to clear Chapter 2. Make sure you clear even all the free stages so you don’t have to go back and forth.
If you’re stuck, or not getting 3 stars at the last free stage, simply level up your teams by spamming Scavenger Hunt or Business Hour stage 1. The one with tickets will give you higher exp so you can level up faster.
At this point, always save your spirit gems. Check your inventory and if you have 10 of 1x Essence Contracts, go to shop > special > barter, and trade them for x10 Essence Contract.
Just by clearing 2 chapters, you already have 3 of x10 Essence Contracts, and 12k spirit gems. Save up your sorcery gems, the red one, because it’s very rare and valuable and you want to use it only when you really really need it.
Before you start Chapter 3, make sure to raise everyone to level 10, and raise their potential as much as you can.
Your current team should be Aster, Morvay, and Yakumo, all level 10. Battle might seem a bit slow with only 1 damage dealer but it should do for now.
After clearing stage 3-02, exploration will be open. Just follow the tutorial then leave it be for now, you can get back to it later after you’re done with everything because exploration needs R and N grade characters to operate.
Go back to Chapter 3, and once you reach boss stage, double check your team if they need their level raised.
Edmond Boss Stage is a bit difficult because he attacks your team with a very strong attack in the beginning. Then every turn, he attacked twice. Worry not, your team will survive this. It looks a bit scary in the beginning because their HP is dropping really fast. But it will be alright, that’s why we always put a healer in our team.
I got through the stage with my level 10 Aster, Morvay and Yakumo.
You don’t have to worry about wasting your resources on Morvay or Aster because they proved to be a valuable ally even late in the game. But, if I can suggest, you should keep Morvay because he is the only tank in the whole game, while there are a lot of damage dealers. I will explain the pros and cons of every character in detail, in another guide.
I went through all Chapter 3 stages easily though slowly with only level 10 party, even the free stages and the last boss stage, all with 3 stars.
Claim all your rewards and check your storage. You should have more or less 13k spirit gems, 4 x1 Essence Contracts. 3 x10 Essence Contracts.
At this point, feel free to gacha if you want. If you decide to gacha don’t forget to put in all the redeem codes, you can get a lot of freebies, check it out on Nu: Carnival’s official twitter!
A tip that you can do monthly is, go check the shop > special > mystery and you can see they have x1 Essence Contract for 480 spirit gems each. Buy 10 of them, it will cost you only 4800 spirit gems. 1200 gems cheaper than just regular summon. It will save a bit of your spirit gems so make sure to check the store when the month changes.
