Research Assistant, Imperial College Business School (2020-2022)
Worked with Cláudia Custódio on several projects under the ERC Project Information Frictions, Financing and Growth: The Impact of Firm Certification. This project contributes to a better understanding of the channels through which financing and informational frictions operate to impact firm performance and economic growth, by analyzing the Portuguese program "SME Leader" (PME Líder), a government credit guarantee program that alleviates potential financial and informational frictions for SMEs.

I was a member of the field team that worked on a project aiming at evaluating the impact of a refugee integration plan implemented by UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). We coordinated a team responsible for collecting reliable and robust data on living conditions of local households and refugees. We developed a recruitment process with the aim of building a flexible team capable of conducting surveys in several distinct dialects and designed the training. Finally, we supervised the survey collection in the Maratane refugee camp and surrounding communities.
