Dr Bernardi Pranggono is currently a Senior Lecturer in Computer Network Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University, UK.

His research focuses on computer networking and cyber security. He also has interests in cloud computing, optical networking, and green ICT.

Dr. Pranggono received his B.Eng degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Waseda University, Japan, M.DigComms degree in Digital Communications from Monash University, Australia, and a Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK. He has previously held academic and research positions at the Glasgow Caledonian University, Queen's University Belfast, and the University of Leeds. He has held industrial positions at Oracle, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture, and Telstra. Dr. Pranggono is an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Communication and Networks. He has served as Vice-Chair and Technical Program Committee member in numerous international conferences, such as IEEE HPCC, IEEE ICC, and IEEE GLOBECOM. He also serves as a referee of some renowned journals and conferences, such as IEEE Transaction on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Communication Magazine, IEEE Access, IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE ICC, Computer & Security (Elsevier), Wireless Networks (Springer), and Sensors (MDPI). Dr. Pranggono is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
