We are excited to announce our Berlin open source sprint with NumPy!
The NumPy sprint is a 4 hour hands-on "hackathon" where we work on issues in the NumPy GitHub repo and learn to contribute to open source.
Our event is by application only.

OUR GOAL: to increase the participation of women and gender minorities in NumPy and python and open-source projects in general (see Gender Imbalance)

WHERE: Virtual - Hosted from Berlin, Germany
REQUIREMENTS
1. Must know Python
2. Must have some knowledge and experience using numpy, a core library for scientific computing in Python.
3. Must have some familiarity with Git
4. Must attend the pre-sprint meetup to ensure correct setup ahead of the sprint.
