NUMPY sprint
OUR GOAL
To increase the participation of women and gender minorities in the open source community.
PURPOSE
The participation rates by women are quite low for:
open source: 11%
python: 2%
The sprints are being organized to:
Involve more women and gender minorities in NumPy and open source
Contribute to the NumPy library
Build momentum for continued contribution
Widen the pool of open-source contributors
