My partner Gabe and I have chosen to explore the global technology landscape by focusing on two distinct locations. We are tasked with researching and comparing the technology usage, culture, climate, languages, population and digital divide in each of our chosen regions. Our objective is to explore global technology issues and practice core digital literacy skills while using online collaboration tools and application software.
Ineteresting Facts
Alongside all of the information I have out into the project, here are some interesting facts about France that I came across while doing research:
The origin of modern film may be traced back to France! The modern film business originated in France, thanks to the invention of the cinematograph by the Lumière brothers, Auguste and Louis, in 1895.
A Passion for Cheese: More than 1,000 varieties of cheese may be found in France! Cheese, ranging from Brie to Roquefort, is a staple of French cuisine, with regional variations.
Just as said with France, I came across some facts about South Korea that is outside of the project:
World's Biggest Indoor Amusement Park: Lotte World, the largest indoor amusement park in the world, is located in South Korea. It has an outdoor area, an ice rink, and a folk museum. It is among Seoul's most visited tourist destinations.
Land of Cafés: With more cafés per person than any other nation in the world, South Korea boasts a thriving café culture. Coffee culture plays a significant role in South Korean social life, from traditional tea houses to quirky themed cafés.
While completing this project I have learned a multitude of things. I have learned more about Microsoft software and programing. I became more familiar with certain features such as notes and sources. Gabe and I reached out to eachother on social media (Instagram) to start the project. Everything went smooth and was very simple. Overall it was a great project.
