BHS Boys Soccer Team Booster's Information

Welcome to the BHS Boys Soccer Booster webpage! 

We invite you to become a member of our Booster Club and help support and build this amazing program.

The 2025 season brings an incredibly exciting change as the Tigers are officially able to play home games in Benton for the first time in program history. The team hope to see more students and fans in the stands in order to create a true home field advantage.

In 2023, a new era began as the former program sponsor and head coach, Bryan George, stepped up to accept the role as Assistant Principal for Benton High School. Former assistant coach Matthew Valcho stepped in as the new head coach. Alongside longtime assistant Saul Camacho and new JV coach and former Tiger, Dayne Reed, the team pushed on in attempting to recreate their lower division success in Division 1.

During 2022, LHSAA reorganized the Division/District structure based upon updated school enrollment data. The result of this reorganization placed the Benton Boys Team in Division 1 / District 1. 

As of 2021, the BHS Boys Soccer Program was sanctioned to play high soccer in LHSAA's Division II / District I classification (14 years). Over this short period of time, Head Coach Bryan George built the program into one of the best Division II teams in the state of Louisiana.  

With any high school athletics program, there are many additional needs that can't be met by the annual budget allocated to the program through BHS... this is where the Boosters can help. It is our goal to not only help and support the program as it grows but also spread the spirit throughout the community in support of our TIGERS!
