I could NEVER document EVERYTHING the Lord is doing, but let this be a space where I can record at least some of it and give Him praise for ALL of it!
DID YOU GO TO FIELDS OF FAITH?
I could NEVER document EVERYTHING the Lord is doing, but let this be a space where I can record at least some of it and give Him praise for ALL of it!

Fields of Faith is TOMORROW NIGHT!
Due to weather, we decided today to relocate to Morgan County Middle School gym! You will enter from the BUS RAMP side in order to go directly into the gym and NOT the front of the school.
You have to make SO many decisions every single day. Tomorrow, you don't have to think about where to go, what to eat for dinner, or anything else! Just follow our schedule below and let the Lord take care of the rest!

Last year, the JCMS Basketball Cheerleaders walked through the book of John together during our weekly Huddles. I was SO blessed by our time together. This year, I decided to focus on ONE specific verse in the book of John for our entire season.
7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you]. -John 16:7 (AMP)
Today, we started just by talking about the Trinity! What does that word even mean? Who is God? I have found that a lot of athletes know about God the Father and Jesus, but know very little about Holy Spirit! Each week, we will dive into one of the words used to describe Holy Spirit in John 16:7. Today, we learned that Holy Spirit is our HELPER and focused on three different ways He can help: Holy Spirit helps us to know what to do, Holy Spirit helps when we are weak, and Holy Spirit helps us to live differently!

We are just 50 days away from Winter Recharge! Today, FCA Staff gathered virtually as we continue to pray and prepare for a life-changing camp experience in December. I have said it before and I will say it again, whether your child has been to a THOUSAND camps or has NEVER been to camp before...get them to WINTER RECHARGE!

Jasper County Middle School FCA Leaders, Miss Keeley Doublestein and Miss Loralei Smith, were the winner and runner-up in the Thomas Persons Hall 2026 Deer Festival Scholarship Pageant!!!
CONGRATULATIONS, girls! We are SO proud of both of you!
If you missed them shining on stage, don't worry. These two shine for HIM everywhere they go!
And THAT is what makes me SO proud.

After school today, some of our leaders gathered to work on a special project they are preparing for Fields of Faith. Lesson of the Day: A testimony is not just the story of how you came to know Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. A testimony is "a personal, firsthand account of how God has transformed a person's life." PRAISE THE LORD He has done SO much transformation in each of us!

When MCES said they would send a Fields of Faith flyer home with each of their 800 students, I raced to Madison! I'm so thankful for supportive schools!
Tonight, I had the honor of attending the Jasper County Charter System Board of Education meeting with JCMS FCA Leader, Miss Keeley Doublestein, doing the invocation. I've been so impressed and blessed by Keeley from the moment I met her. She is one busy girl, but she is always making time for Him.
"I really didn't need to waste any more time on social media last night, so I started making these to put around school today instead."
October 26th, 2026
I'm meeting with different coaches and athletes 1 on 1 that will be speaking at Fields of Faith on November 4th. This morning, I found myself sitting in the floor at MCHS with Ellison McBay, as she held a microphone and practiced sharing her testimony. I'm excited for everyone to hear what Holy Spirit has given each of them for that night, but I'm even more excited for everything Holy Spirit is doing in and through them EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I do not like the term "sick day." I prefer a "getting healed day!" While ADP doesn't have that as an option, JESUS does. This morning, my body was not okay and I had to put in for one of those dreaded "sick days." I also had to let several very important people know that I would not be able to make it to their Huddles today. The cool thing is, they aren't just important people to me. They are engaged, equipped, and EMPOWERED disciples who make disciples! They are POWERHOUSES that make sure Huddle is never cancelled, because whether I can be there or not, HOLY SPIRIT IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE!

Happiness is like bubbles… easily influenced by everything around and can disappear in an instant.
Joy is like an anchor… steady and secure, even in the middle of life’s storms.
Mrs. Nancy Martin Mitchell from Monticello Baptist Church gave us the perfect picture of the Fruit of the Spirit: JOY at our Jasper County Primary School Huddle this morning! THANK YOU!!!
"I SPY WITH MY LITTLE EYE"....kids praising GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY and adults using all the many different gifts He has given them!
Usually in the evening I am driving from Madison, home to Monticello. For MCHS Senior, Miss Ruthie Wells, however, I will make an exception. Ruthie is part of my discipleship group at MCHS. I had the BEST time "breaking break" at Amici and just hearing about EVERYTHING the Lord is doing in and through her.
One of the things I asked the Lord for in ministry this year was a Marching Band Huddle. (Anyone who knows me well knows that I will defend Marching Band as a sport with coaches and athletes ALL day long!) On August 25th, Ruthie and I met up at Madison Nutrition and she walked me through her plans for a Marching Band Huddle! Nearly two months later, I couldn't believe the good report after good report she shared about their time together meeting every Tuesday after practice this season. God is so good. THANK YOU, LORD!

The MAJORITY of what the Lord does in and through this ministry can not be shared with the world because I have been allowed into some of the most precious places and spaces of people's lives. I love the Multisport Huddles, with hundreds of kids praising God and learning about who He is, BUT I spend a LOT more time in the 1:1 or team Huddles and I remain in AWE of everything He is doing in and through this ministry...one life at a time.
Without going into all of the details, I spent the day reading one of my two year old son's Bible books. While I understand it was written for children and designed to be read one story at a time over 365 days, I spent the day at a picnic table at the Oconee River Greenway, at 33 years old, and read. I was filled.

Jesus gives us JOY!!!
Thank you to Jasper County High School FCA Leader, Kayle McCart for teaching our smallest Canes at Jasper County Preschool about the Fruit of the Spirit: JOY!
To ALL of the parents that allow your babies to join us for Huddle, THANK YOU! To see them praying, worshipping, learning, and TEACHING blesses me beyond measure.
October 19th, 2026
In one of my 1:1 Coach's Huddles, we are reading through the book of Acts every Monday morning. I enjoy and learn from ALL of our Huddles together, but today something stirred my spirit! In Acts 5, the Jewish religious council wants to kill the disciples for continuing to preach about Jesus, but Gamaliel says:
38 So in the present case, I tell you, stay away from these men and leave them alone. For if this plan or this work is of human origin, it will fail; 39 but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You may even be found fighting against God.”
Right now, I am in the middle of planning our upcoming Fields of Faith in Morgan County. It can be a lot of work to plan and organize an event of this size, BUT I want to be so sensitive to Holy Spirit and His guidance, because "if this plan or this work is of human origin, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them."

This morning, we had two AWESOME speakers teach us about the Fruit of the Spirit: Joy at Morgan County Elementary School! No, it wasn't a local pastor or children's minister this time. It was Miss Brynlee Bradshaw (Casey Bradshaw) and Mr. Nathaniel Harrell (Chante' Harrell)!
Listen - if someone takes your donut they may have taken your happiness too, but they CAN'T TAKE YOUR JOY! These two had me laughing and my heart overflowing.
Were you teaching hundreds of elementary school kids about Jesus when you were in elementary school? I wasn't, but I sure am glad I get to learn from them! PRAISE GOD!
"JESUS GIVES US JOY!!!"
October 15th, 2026
Pastor Tracy Reynolds from Grace Fellowship was our Huddle speaker again this morning! This time, at Morgan County High School! There's truly no better way to start your morning and as far as Juan DeVevo, Rory DeVevo, and Ruthie Wells leading worship...."RUN IT BACK!" I could have stayed there in worship until the school kicked me out. He is a Good Good Father! Thank y'all for using just a few of the gifts the Lord has given you to bless us and honor Him.
October 14th, 2026
When I came on staff with Lake Oconee FCA in September of 2025, Pastor C. Tracy Reynolds of Grace Fellowship Madison was the first pastor I met in Morgan County. That first encounter had a powerful impact on my ministry, as he encouraged me and showed me the love of Jesus Christ. This morning, at Morgan County Middle School, I had the great honor of hearing him teach on the Fruit of the Spirit: JOY. As he spoke, I looked across the gym and saw one of our EMPOWERED student leaders sitting on the floor, at his feet, taking notes.
"What is the job of a tomato?
TO CLING TO THE VINE!!!"
We can make things so complicated, especially our relationship with Christ. JUST CLING TO THE VINE!
Lord, may we sit at YOUR feet with ears ready to hear and hearts ready to take note...
JOHN 15:1-4
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 Every branch in me that does not produce fruit he removes, and he prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me."

WHAT?! I just had the BEST morning at Morgan County Primary School! Thank you Mrs. Olivia Davis and Mr. Grayson Watts from Fusion Church Madison for teaching us about the Fruit of the Spirit JOY!
They showed us how people and situations can bust our bubble when we are relying on happiness. Those “happy balloons” kept POPPING when exposed to the heat of hurtful words like, “I don’t like your hair,” “You aren’t very good at sports,” and “You can’t do it.”
BUT THEN CAME THE JOY BALLOON! This balloon was filled with water, representing Jesus, the LIVING WATER! No matter how much heat from the flame was applied, that balloon WOULD NOT POP!
What a powerful reminder that the joy Jesus gives us is different from temporary happiness! The world can throw hurtful words, hard circumstances, and disappointments our way, but when we have JOY from Jesus, NOTHING can take it away!
It was also sweet to see two of my teammates and Mighty Women of God, April McClendon & Jessi Fincher, passing out our Fruit of the Spirit JOY magnets this morning! Be sure to add it the fridge or somewhere they can see it as a reminder!
Answer. To. Prayer.
After Huddle, I received a text message letting me know a student had done her "homework!" Then, a picture of one of our MCPS students holding her JOY coloring sheet that was emailed to all parents the night before Huddle! Each month, I am sharing different resources to help! I would LOVE to see ALL of their coloring pages, pictures from your worship dance party, or where your Fruit of the Spirit magnets are hanging!

I'm sure you can tell by now that graphic design is NOT one of my giftings and if I’m being honest, it's not exactly my favorite part of the job either. I developed a strategy early on in my FCA career: pick ONE day each month, rip the Band-Aid off, and make as many graphics as I can possibly think of needing for the entire month to get it over with.
Today was THAT day!
The truth is, the Lord has gifted each of us differently. Some people have an incredible eye for design, some are gifted teachers, some are encouragers, some are organizers, and some have gifts they haven’t even discovered yet. Graphic design might not be one of my gifts, but that doesn’t mean I get to skip the task!
SAY IT AGAIN!
Graphic design might not be one of my gifts, but that doesn’t mean I get to skip the task!
I want to be a good steward of whatever the Lord has placed in my hands, even when it's something I'm not very good at or don't enjoy doing.
Now, you go enjoy just SOME of my little once a month graphics I created and...let's NOT talk about how similar they are!

I started the day at JCMS in a student-led Bible Study that meets every Thursday morning. I've been wanting to attend this particular one for weeks, but I've had my own Huddles to lead every Thursday morning since they started! Today, THEY were on my calendar. They knew I was coming, but I'm not sure if they intentionally chose Galatians 5:22-23 for today's topic or not. The Fruit of the Spirit scripture I've been studying for months was now being taught to me by three middle school students... and I learned so very much. They ended their Bible Study explaining that before we left we were going to sing a "cringey" song "for babies." Before hitting play on "The Fruit of the Spirit's Not a Coconut", one said "it will help y'all learn the Fruit of the Spirit and we all need that so here we go...." I was concerned. I know the song well. Between our preschool, primary school, and elementary school Huddles, I've heard it MANY times. But never at a middle school one. I was preparing myself for second hand embarrassment. Instead, I gained an opportunity to see kids worship in a whole new way!! IT WAS AWESOME (and for the first time ever, I actually learned the moves to the song)!
After Bible Study, I headed to Madison for our monthly Lake Oconee Area Team meeting. After our devotional, we were asked to answer a question: What stirs your affections for Jesus? My mind was glued to that "cringey" song "for babies" from this morning. What stirs my affections for Jesus is freedom in worship and seeing others discover the same thing.
As soon as we were done with our area team meeting, I was back at JCMS for their monthly Leadership Team Meeting. Like our Lake Oconee Area Team Meetings, these Leadership Team meetings aren't just about preparing for Huddles. They are about preparing our hearts to receive ALL He has for us and about preparing us to share that with others.
We spent ~10 minutes hashing out Huddle logistics at THE VERY END of our meeting. Before that, we spent an hour diving into Acts 16, with Paul and Silas in prison. I love just reading the Word of God with them, discovering it together, and talking about what we are discovering.

I've said it before and I will say it again, in this ministry I OFTEN wish I could be in two places (or even ten) at once! I have to remind myself that the Lord is the one who is omnipresent, not me. I am not able to be at every Huddle that is happening in Morgan County and Jasper County, but HE IS!!!
Today, I received this picture and text message. Behind every student-led Bible Study or Athlete Huddle is someone just like this- praying for them and cheering them on. I love the MIGHTY girls for God that are leading these at Jasper County Middle School and the MIGHTY women of God supporting them. Yes, God is moving and YES...He was present!

I'm thankful for EVERY door the Lord opens and every opportunity He gives me to serve!
When Jasper County Preschool Director Jessica Ravenel needed another guest reader for GA Pre-K Week, I was honored to say YES!
There is truly a spirit of excellence at Jasper County Preschool. I was greeted by two big helpers as soon as I arrived, escorted to their classroom, and had the BEST time reading about Mr. Escargot in my horrible French accent! I received lots of sweet hugs and was even blessed with a thoughtful gift before "popping" out.
I watched faculty and staff love people well, give children opportunities to lead, and find intentional ways to fill both big and little cups to overflowing.
Service, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence are FCA's four core values, and I LOVE seeing those same values lived out so beautifully in our schools and community!

I do my best to use this site as a space to share what the Lord is doing in and through FCA, but you don't have to just read about it! One of the coolest things about supporting a home missionary is that you can see it for yourself! Approved FCA volunteers are welcome to join me at any Huddle and they can even LEAD Huddles of their own!
Today, I was able to attend a Volunteer Impact Portal (VIP) training with FCA staff from across the North Georgia area. The volunteer application process protects the volunteer, the ministry, and the school by including a spiritual profile, reference checks, a background check (or parental consent form for minors), agreement with FCA’s Statements of Faith, and two trainings. You can click the button below to start the process to becoming an approved volunteer NOW!

Today, hundreds of students gathered in the gym at Jasper County Primary School to worship the King of Kings with Teacher Sponsor Melissa Houston and learn about the Fruit of the Spirit: LOVE from Monticello Baptist Church Pastor David Artessa!
"Loved people, love people!" AND WE ARE SO LOVED BY JESUS!!!
It is SUCH A BLESSING to see kids talk to Jesus, praise Him, and discover just how much He loves them!
I confess, I selfishly soak up EVERY SINGLE SECOND when I'm in this gym and don't always remember to capture it to share with all of you. Thank you Jenna Smith for capturing these PERFECT pictures!
The next time you bow your head to pray, will you join me in praying for these kids? Will you join me in praising HIM for all He is doing in and through them? Will you pray AND praise for the 19 teachers that agreed to put one more thing on their already FULL plates to make sure this happens?
September 23rd, 2026
Do you ever wish you could be in two places at once? Or even ten places at once?
I started to feel that way with See You at The Pole (SYATP) happening this morning, but I stopped myself and instead PRAISED HIM for being at every single one all across the nation.
This is STUDENT-INITIATED & STUDENT-LED PRAYER.
A HUGE thank you to Jennifer Cross Smith and Mary Grace Steverson for capturing these sweet pictures!
Some of the best training I've ever had, happened over a meal, so I knew I needed to invite Traci McBay to lunch today! Not only is she my Lake Oconee Area FCA teammate, but she has also served as the registrar for MANY different FCA camps! I’m soaking up as much wisdom as I can from her this year so I’ll be ready to take on the challenge of serving as Registrar for Winter Recharge next year!
I’m so thankful for teammates who are willing to share their knowledge, experience, and wisdom to help others grow. There’s something special about learning from a friend who has been there and done that!
September 22nd, 2026
Jasper County Preschool learned that the Fruit of the Spirit is NOT strawberries, blueberries, or grapes! It's LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, & SELF-CONTROL!
I LOVE to wiggle and giggle with this group, as we learn about JESUS!!!
After Huddle, I received a text message from MCMS FCA Student Leader Wesli Doolittle with a unique request. She wanted me to come by for an interview for an article she is writing for the Middle Grounds Newspaper! I HATED to miss this, but I was on my way to another Huddle. Since I couldn't be with Wesli in person and I did NOT want to miss this, she sent me the questions and I responded with audio texts. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! She had SUCH GOOD QUESTIONS and I love the presence HE has on their campus!

Every Monday morning, I start my week in Bible study with a coach. We are working through the book of Acts this year.
The book of Acts is not one I am unfamiliar with. In fact, it is probably the book of the Bible I have read the most and heard the most teaching on. And yet... there is ALWAYS something new!
Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that the Word of God is alive and active. It's not just a book we read; it's the living Word of God that continues to teach us, challenge us, and transform us.
We will never exhaust the depths of God's Word. No matter how many times we read a passage, there is always an opportunity for God to open our eyes to a truth we haven't seen, a perspective we haven't considered, or an application we haven't made.
Thank God for a living Word that never stops working in us!
After our Bible Study this morning, I headed to Madison Methodist to meet up with Mr. Butch Thompson. Last year, Matthew and I were at the Madison-Morgan Community Food Pantry serving with FCA and met Mr. Butch. It's amazing how the Lord puts people in your path! Matthew has wanted to go to Walk to Emmaus for some time now and Mr. Butch just so happened to mention it during their few minutes together! Now, Matthew is preparing to go with Mr. Butch as his sponsor! God is good.
Now, I am headed to the last JCMS Volleyball game of the REGULAR season. I see the playoffs in their near future!
September 20th, 2026
Aren’t they beautiful? This is the JCMS Volleyball Team. They got up early. Met me at the Dairy Queen for breakfast and then were picked up to ride to church in Enon Baptist Church - Monticello GA's new bus. They enjoyed Sunday School, the service, two baptisms, and lunch together before running outside to find a brand new volleyball net behind the church waiting for them!!! I was in shock.
Thank you Enon Baptist Church. You loved on US so well today and we are all so grateful. Pastor Miller said, “We don’t want anything from you. We just want you to know He’s got so much for you!!” Yes, He does girls. Far more than you could have ever dreamed or imagined.
They have their last home game tomorrow night at JCMS at 5 PM. See you there!
September 18th, 2026
The perfect end to a perfect week. This week we HUDDLED in Morgan County. FCA defines a "huddle" as "a ministry program where two or more coaches or athletes meet regularly for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer." This week, hundreds of students (and pastors, teachers, speakers...) got to school early for exactly that. They rallied and discovered the first Fruit of the Spirit: LOVE.
We learned from Leanne Howell from Covenant Park Church, Pastor Matthew Mitchell from Madison Methodist Church, Worship Pastor Juan DeVevo, Pastor Gabe Dodd from Redeemer Church of Madison, and today....from Morgan County Elementary School students who stood in front of their peers and showed us LOVE applied. I'm reminded again that love takes sacrifice and standing in front of a group of 150+ kids isn't easy no matter how old you are.
We saw teachers just like Abby Brame and Christie Smith, who added more to their already FULL plates in order to be there for these kids.
We saw donors like Pennington Methodist Church, Madison Methodist Church, and just someone who loves children give financially to feed their bellies with Chick-fil-A Madison (GA) biscuits!
I saw teammates like Jason McBay, Bobbi Jean Singleton, and Jessi Fincher serving.
I saw GIVERS that support me as a home missionary every single month, allowing me to do this.
I saw GOD.
I certainly did NOT want it to end, but I knew when I hopped in the car to head home to Jasper County it would only keep going!!!
I thought when the 6th graders moved to Washington Park, our Huddle at Jasper County Middle School would naturally get smaller. It made perfect sense in my earthly mind. BUT…
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.” -Isaiah 55:9
We lost an entire grade level, BUT had just as many kids in Huddle. I was NOT prepared for it! Teacher sponsor Mrs. Carri Miller, however, JUMPED into action and started making it work. I love you and I’m so blessed to do ministry with you!
I’m also so thankful for how the Lord provides “hands and feet!” We were all THRILLED to see @Kimberly Ring Ragan walk through the door. Thank you for being so willing to jump in and serve!
Our student leaders were phenomenal. Keeley Doublestein prayed Heaven down and then she, Jaelyn Childers, Jayden Crawford, Ryan McCrea, and Shelby Sandford ROCKED their small groups!
NEW LIFE Praise Center Youth Pastor, Jeremy Mote, brought a message on the Fruit of the Spirit: LOVE and taught us about “eros” (romantic love), “storge” (family love), “philia” (family love), and most importantly…”agape” (God’s love). He also reminded us that if you plant an apple seed, you get APPLES. You get what you plant! Thank you, Pastor Jeremy!
To our adult (Christie Wallace, Erin McCrea, Charlene Chancey, Jake Tingler, Summer Wilbanks, Carri Miller) and student leaders who managed this HUGE group……THANK YOU!! You did so much before, during, and after. You did so much that I don’t even know about. But He does. Thank you and thank You, God!
September 17th, 2026
It took me a while to update you on MCHS Huddle because it’s hard to put into words what I experienced this morning.
Pastor Gabe Dodd from Redeemer Church of Madison GA shared a powerful word on the Fruit of the Spirit: Love. At one point, he said:
"Love isn’t, ‘What are you willing to do for me?’ Love is, ‘What am I willing to sacrifice for you?’”
And as I thought about those words, I realized I was SURROUNDED by servant leaders who were sacrificing.
I thought about Juan DeVevo sitting in the parking lot before 6:45 AM with a truck full of equipment to lead worship.
I thought about the teenagers filling this library who got up early and drove themselves to school to be here for this.
I considered Senior Ava Gaddy, despite any nerves, boldly open us in prayer.
I turned to Redeemer Church of Madison GA Youth Pastor, Drew Thomason, standing to the side with his family (Lauren Thomason) who were there just to be present and available.
I thought of Senior Ruthie Wells who used the gifts and talents the Lord has given her on keys, confidently playing alongside someone she had only just met and certainly never practiced with.
After Pastor Gabe Dodd closed, I saw student leaders step outside their comfort zones to connect with someone new. I saw them break away from the group, find a quiet corner of the library, and sit with another student to share their praises and prayers.
I saw hard conversations of LOVE happening.
I saw hugs being shared across the room (and received some of the BEST)!
I saw Ginger O'Neal begin to clean up a library as if it were an honor.
And I KNOW I didn’t see it all.
But He did.
Thank you isn't enough, but thank you. All of you. AND thank You, Jesus!
After MCHS Huddle, I was able to attend the Winter Recharge 2026 Kick-Off meeting! Last year, I was able to join the Winter Recharge team by running the gear store. I LOVED IT! Those who know me well, know how much I enjoy a good spreadsheet and organizing things, so the gear store was the perfect match! This year, I am going to be learning the registrar ropes from teammate, Traci McBay! While I loved running the gear store, I'm looking forward to learning something new and putting those same gifts to work in a different way this year!
Now, I'm sitting at a JCMS Softball game cheering on the Hurricanes!!
September 16th, 2026
I couldn't tell you how many kids were in MCMS Huddle this morning. We stopped counting at 165 and just started praising!
I can not thank Juan DeVevo enough for bringing all of his equipment and leading us in that praise and worship, but also taking the time to talk about WHAT we are singing. THANK YOU! We all know it will take a little time for middle school students to get adjusted to this new addition to Huddle, but I could not be more excited about it!
THANK YOU to Madison Methodist Pastor Matthew Mitchell for sharing such a personal testimony of LOVE. It can be SO difficult to love your competitor. BUT you can compete hard and love harder.
You KNOW it's a GOD morning, when our student leaders are upset because they wanted more time with their small groups to dive deeper into God's word! LET'S GO!!!!
To my student and adult leaders, I could NOT do it without you and I am SO grateful! (I also promise to work on finding more time for you to dive in with your small groups!)
THANK YOU Chick-fil-A Madison (GA) and Lake Oconee FCA Area Director, Jason McBay for being my TEAMMATES ready with more biscuits when the kids just kept rolling in!
MOST IMPORTANTLY, THANK YOU GOD!!!
The picture below was snapped quickly before our JCMS Softball Team Huddle this afternoon. I know it sounds silly, but I love seeing them practice in all of their different uniforms! It's so neat to see all of the different teams they have played for and now see them come together to represent the Hurricanes. It is a sweet reminder to me that Christians can come from so many different denominations, but we've been given the same mission: "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:18-20" He is at work in the BIG school Huddles and the small team Huddles too.
September 15th, 2026
This morning, 100 MCPS students gathered for Huddle!
A HUGE THANK YOU to Mrs. Leanne Howell, Children’s Director at Covenant Park Church! She had us reaching into the fruit bag and pulling out bananas, apples, and more before we discovered that LOVE is a Fruit of the SPIRIT and something He produces within us.
As Mrs. Leanne read the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25–37), I watched little faces grow more and more concerned over the robbers, the priest, and the Levite. BUT THEN, they discovered LOVE through the Samaritan. My prayer, is that they remember Jesus' words:
“Go and do likewise.”
What a beautiful morning of learning that God’s love isn’t just something we receive. It’s something He grows in us and calls us to share with others!
This evening, the Jasper County Charter System Board of Education had their second business meeting of the school year. When I needed someone at the last minute for the invocation, Senior Bryce West answered the call with a "3, 5, 7,..." I was SO confused and didn't know what was happening at first. Then, I realized Bryce was in the middle of crosscountry practice. He managed to keep leading his team, as we talked over the details of the evening and he committed to being there. When I hung up the phone, I couldn't help but laugh. If the call had been recorded it would have been the perfect example of FELLOWSHIP of CHRISTIAN ATHLETES LEADERSHIP. Thank you, Bryce!
September 14th, 2026
This morning, I am praising HIM for the gift and the giver. THANK YOU to Madison Methodist Church, Pennington Methodist Church, and a special donor who just loves children for providing breakfast for Morgan County's multi-sport Huddles this month!!!
It's not JUST a Chick-fil-A Madison (GA) biscuit. It’s an opportunity for kids to experience the love of Jesus in a tangible way. Every biscuit is a reminder that they are seen, valued, and LOVED by the church, people in their community, and JESUS!
Thank you for filling their bellies as we fill them with God's Word.
Speaking of His Word, at our first volleyball Huddle, five weeks ago, we read Mark 11:12-14:
"The next day when they went out from Bethany, he was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree with leaves, he went to find out if there was anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season for figs. He said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And his disciples heard it."
Each week it has felt like the Lord would bring me back to that passage in one way or another. We've spent a LOT of time talking about being covered in the "leaves" like Christian t-shirts, cross necklaces, FOUR bracelets, etc. There is nothing wrong with the "leaves," but we want to be covered in "FRUIT" (John 15:8)! LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, & SELF-CONTROL (Galatians 5:22-23) We want to be so fruitful that others "taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8)!"
So many of them didn't even know what a fig was when I first read this passage and only one or two had ever tasted one! Today, I finally brought them figs.
Here's what the Holy Spirit showed me as I watched them take their first bites. Fruit is BEST when it is FRESH.
You see, I didn't have a fig tree to pick from. I had to buy the ones Ingles had sitting on the shelf.
FRESH FRUIT comes straight from the BRANCH that REMAINS on the VINE, cared for by the GARDENER. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. (John 15)
I've said before that one of my goals for this year is to make sure that "what happens in Huddle DOESN'T stay in Huddle!" I want kids telling their families what they learned, but more importantly... I want them APPLYING it and learning EVEN MORE when they get home! Today, I shared resources that I pray families will use at home to keep the conversation, application, and learning going at home!

This flyer was shared TODAY and we already have five kids in Jasper County signed up!? Three of the five went last year and couldn't wait to get signed up again for this year. The other two heard enough about it that they knew it was something they didn't want to miss!
Once each year, middle and high school students gather at Rock Eagle for three days just before Christmas. During that time, they rest, refuel, and go deeper! Whether they have never heard the name of Jesus before or they are walking with Him daily, Winter Recharge is a life-changing camp experience.
I NEVER want cost to keep a child from that life-changing experience. Scholarships are available. Please do not hesitate to reach out!

Today, I had a MCHS Leadership Team Huddle and a Jasper County Middle School Leadership Team Huddle. I'm praising the Lord for giving us the time and wisdom to get the work of the work done quickly, so we can spend the majority of our time discovering His word. There's a LOT that happens behind the scenes for every Huddle we have, but there is NO better preparation for Huddle than time with Him!
Fastforward to this evening. I just left the JCMS Softball game and...IT'S OFFICIAL! On Tuesday, September 29th the JCMS Softball Team will be headed to the playoffs!!! LET'S GO!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited for them, but I'm also reflecting back on some of the MANY blessings I saw this season from the stands!
Very early in the season, I saw Mrs. Amy Boardman Rejmer at a game. She is the Assistant Principal at Washington Park Elementary School and at one point, she asked me, “Why isn't anyone announcing the game?”
The next week, there she was announcing.
She showed up with her speaker and microphone, playing music between innings, announcing the lineup, and giving us instant replays with THE MOST enthusiasm.
Then one day I noticed something else. A new sun tarp was shading the bleachers. I didn't know where it came from, but I knew I was glad to see it there.
Eventually, I found out that Coach Nicole Cooper Johnson and her husband had not only installed it themselves, but had purchased it too!
These are the things that bless me. People seeing a need and simply deciding to do something about it. People showing up. People serving. People making things better, not because they have to, but because they care.
THANK Y'ALL!!!
If you're free on Tuesday, go cheer on these OVERCOMERS!!!! You'll be blessed.

At 7:15 AM this morning, I was a MCMS for our Leadership Team Huddle. In that gym were 33 people willingly to wake up early, get to school early, and get to work for the Lord. We ran through the logistics for our upcoming Huddle, but spent the majority of our time running through His Word. AMEN!
We are called to make disciples, but we must also remain willing to BE discipled. We all need people who will pour into us, challenge us, point us back to His Word, and help us grow to look more like Jesus.
With that being said, I went from Leadership Team Huddle to my first official discipleship meeting with the one and only, Jessi Fincher. Yes, she is my teammate in FCA, but she's also a boy mom and I so deperately need women in my life who know how to raise a Mighty Boy for God!
Grateful for the opportunity to learn all I can from her. Now, I'm headed to JCMS for Softball Huddle! God. Is. Good.
September 8th, 2026
I had a unique opportunity today! Ms. Christina Small invited me to come to JCMS to speak to not only her Business classes, but Mrs. Laura Smith's Career Exploration classes as well! It was a packed room all day, but SO good for me!
I used the four core values of FCA (Serving, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence) to teach them that "ability gets you noticed, but character makes you valuable." I also tried to encourage them to not just work on becoming really good at something, but work on becoming really good at being the person who does it. Speaking to their classes isn't an opportunity for me to teach the Bible directly, but the Word of God ALWAYS shines through and it is a perfect opportunity for me to interact with students I may never see otherwise and show them the love of Jesus Christ.
After class, I stayed put for our JCMS Volleyball Huddle where we were diving DEEP into the Bible! It was an exhausting day in ALL of the best ways!

Every FCA Student Leader is part of a smaller discipleship group, led by an FCA Adult Leader. We quickly discovered that MCHS didn't quite have enough women to cover the number of girls on the leadership team. "Put me in, Coach!" I am now in a discipleship group with six high school girls and I absolutely love it. Once each month, we are going to get together to catch up and dive deep. Early this morning, we were together for breakfast and Jonah. Jonah is only 4 chapters and 48 verses long, but it's still hard to cover an entire book of the Bible over breakfast. Instead, we focused on the ending. So often, we think of Jonah's story ending with him being vomited onto dry land and heading off to Nineveh. The book of Jonah actually ends with Jonah angry over the Lord's compassion toward the people of Nineveh. Jonah had obeyed God's command to go and deliver His message, but he was upset when God extended mercy to the very people Jonah didn't believe deserved it.
There's a difference between being obedient to the Lord and being in sync with His heart. We don't want to simply follow His commands; we want to become so closely aligned with His heart that our attitudes, our actions, and everything we do reflects His character.
After spending the morning with my discipleship group, I was off to our monthly Lake Oconee Area Team meeting and now I am headed to cheer on the JCMS Softball team!
September 2nd, 2026
I started this school year encouraging all of our student leaders to actually LEAD Huddles of their own, but I never imagined it would look like this.
This morning, I was cordially invited to attend our newest weekly student-led Bible study at Jasper County Middle School.
THEY had Bibles ready to hand to anyone who didn’t have one. THEY had muffins and donuts ready to bless others. THEY had a plan for teaching the first part of the Armor of God. THEY went out into the hallways and invited students to come in. THEY prayed over us. THEY shared God’s Word. THEY closed in prayer. THEY loved on us. And I almost didn't know what to do with myself. I had been poured into. I had been ministered to. By students. And it's not just these two.
His disciples are making disciples.
Now, I'm off to see the JCMS Softball team for our weekly Huddle!

This morning, I was able to speak at my very first Piedmont Academy Chapel! Our verse for the morning was Proverbs 16:3, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." As a kid growing up in Monticello and going to public school, I always wondered what it looked like inside Piedmont, what the kids and teachers were like, and how it compared to my own school. As odd as it may sound, walking into Piemont Academy today was like finally opening the mystery box I had been looking at for decades! Inside, I discovered a beautiful campus, with kids singing, dancing, and praising the Lord, and teachers celebrating their wins in and out of the classroom. I LOVED every second of school as a kid in Jasper County, but it was truly a BLESSING to finally experience Piedmont Academy!
Today's JCMS Volleyball Huddle was a little different. Each girl was given two FCA FOUR Bracelets, one to keep and one to give away. After learning what each symbol represented, the girls were challenged to find a buddy and practice sharing the gospel! These are NOT just bracelets we wear. They are tools we need to be using to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others! Pastor Rich Miller from Enon Baptist Church also joined us for Huddle today! He shared that the team was being invited to join the Enon church family for a Sunday morning service, with a meal to follow! I LOVE seeing the church show our coaches and athletes the love of Jesus.

Fields of Faith in Morgan County is just over two months away and today I spent some time touching base with a few of our Fields of Faith friends. It is going to be an AMAZING night of community worship, fellowship, and growing in relationship with Jesus Christ! I am excited to have Chick-fil-A Madison (GA) and TNT Photobombers joining us for the evening! Chick-fil-A will be setup for sale by 5:30 PM and TNT Photobombers will be doing free photo pages from 4 PM to 6 PM.

Registration for the FCA Coaches Marriage Retreat at WinShape JUST opened and I was able to get three of our coaches and their spouses signed up today! This place holds a special place in our hearts and it is a HUGE part of my FCA story! I can not wait to see how many MORE couples are touched by Jesus Christ here! I tell ALL of my coaches to go whether their marriage is a perfect 10 or somewhere between a 1 and 0! It is AMAZING.

I love starting my day with text messages about how this student-led Bible study at JCMS is continuing to grow in size AND MORE IMPORTANTLY in their relationship with Jesus Christ!
After school, my little guy and I headed to our second game for the week. This time, at the softball field! He may have had his shades on, but the rain was rolling in.
As we packed up our things and raced to the car in a rained out game, I wanted to be frustrated. Instead, I couldn't help but smile. It's all good. Life is good. God is good. We're blessed. So, instead of being frustrated, the two of us sat in the car and enjoyed every drop!
As we watched the rain, Bear kept telling me over and over again that "we just need a rainbow, Mama." It warmed my heart. He isn't wrong. We want to race for the umbrella to avoid the rain, but there's something about just waiting, trusting, and looking for the reminder that He is faithful.
DON'T WORRY! It should be blurry! 😉

One of my personal goals is to make sure what happens in Huddle DOES NOT stay in Huddle. Our primary and elementary school students will receive one collectible magnet at the end of each Huddle to remind them of the Fruit of the Spirit they learned that morning and to help keep the conversation going once they get home. I would LOVE for them to end the year with all 9 magnets, but more importantly I would love for them to end the year with all 9 Fruits of the Spirit! AMEN!
I am also working hard on putting together "Huddle Recap" sheets for parents to use at home. The recaps include a summary of the lesson, additional scripture for that particular Fruit of the Spirit, a coloring sheet, discussion questions they can talk through as a family, an activity, and a challenge to demonstrate what they have learned!
It has ALWAYS been about ALL people and I can not wait to see how our parents get even more involved this year!
After a long day on the computer, I was back at JCMS for our 3rd Softball Huddle!
I’m around a LOT of teenagers every single day and one word I keep hearing is “karma.” Our culture has really popularized the word, especially through music and social media.
I absolutely do not believe in karma, something Buddha adopted and taught within the Buddhist belief system as an impersonal force of the universe that determines what happens to us based on what we do.
I do believe in Luke 6:38:
“Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over—will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Karma says there is a force that automatically returns consequences based on your actions. God's Word says there is a Father in Heaven who responds to your giving according to His character, wisdom, justice, mercy, and grace.
The enemy doesn’t always come with something that is obviously false. Sometimes the most dangerous deception is something that contains just enough truth to make the lie believable. He can take something that sounds good, mix it with something that is false, and if we aren’t grounded in God’s Word, we may never stop to question it.
I encouraged the girls to question the things they hear or may even be saying, like "karma" or "manifesting." What do these things REALLY mean and what does His Word have to say about it?

Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a LOVE and PASSION for marching band. My husband and I have some of our BEST memories from our marching band days, but we’ve had to defend it as a sport MANY times!
Recently, we were reminded of something that happened at a pep rally all those many years ago.
Every sport was asked to send one representative to the court to compete in a push-up competition. When marching band wasn’t called to send a representative, our drum captain walked out in front of the stands where the band was sitting, dropped to the floor, and started doing push-ups.
The crowd went WILD as he not only outlasted everyone on the court, but KEPT GOING and wouldn't stop until he was declared the winner!
I've read a LOT of different definitions of "sport" and I haven't found one yet that disqualifies marching band, so the kids in the marching band are athletes if you ask me.
This morning, I wanted to RUN around Madison Nutrition as Band Captain and senior, Ruthie Wells, walked me through her plans for their first ever MARCHING BAND HUDDLE!!!
She was on FIRE as she shared what the Lord has placed on her heart and read various scriptures from Proverbs aloud!
Did you know the Bible tells us that the worship team went AHEAD of the army when Israel went into battle?! In 2 Chronicles 20:21, King Jehoshaphat appointed singers to go before the army, praising the Lord as they marched into battle. And when they began to sing and praise, God gave them the victory!
And that’s not the only time! Have you heard of the walls of Jericho?! The Israelites marched around the city, and it was the blast of the trumpets followed by their shout that came before the walls came crashing down!
It's about time we had the band involved!!
This afternoon, I was with the JCMS Volleyball Team for our 3rd Huddle and we were focused on one of my favorite verses, Proverbs 18:21: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." I genuinely LOVE every second I get to spend with this team diving into His Word and I have selfishly asked the Lord to let me feel like I was actually part of every team I serve. As Huddle ended and Coach went to leave, she turned around and handed me this ribbon. She explained that everyone on the team had one. I wanted to burst into tears. Thank You, Lord and thank you, JCMS Volleyball.

This place is so special to me.
I have spent a LOT of time in the Jasper County Middle School gym as a student, then as a teacher, and now as a servant of Christ to so many amazing teams.
I’ve had people ask me at games if I have to be here or even how many games I have to attend for my job with FCA.
The answer is no and none.
FCA doesn’t require staff to attend games, and I certainly don’t have a quota to meet. I’m there because I want to be. I’m there because I love these athletes and coaches, I believe in them, and I want ALL of them to know what it feels like to be cheered for. Everyone needs somone in the stands who knows not just their number, but their name and shouts it above the crowd.
And what’s really cool is that my son LOVES it even more than I do! Basketball is by far his favorite, but he hasn’t turned me down for any sport yet!
He waits for me to holler, copies me, and then leans over into my ear to make sure he got their name right. You know… after he’s already hollered it!
I love him. I love them. I love this ministry. I love the Lord.
And I love the life He has given me.
What a gift it is to serve Him in a place that has meant so much to me for so long.
Seeing Team B take the WIN was a perfect end to the night!

I went straight from breakfast to our very own Shoppes of Monticello located on the Monticello square. It is truly a hidden gem in our community and absolutely worth the visit if you haven't seen it before. Each vendor offers something unique and is housed inside a replica of a popular historic home. I'm not sure if that's even the right way to describe it, but trust me...it's REALLY neat! So why was I there? Because FCA is their newest vendor! MeMe the Manager offered us a space in the "young entrepreneurs" department to sell Jasper County FCA t-shirts for $10!!! Thank you, MeMe! Now, y'all go get them while you can!
After t-shirts, I was in a Zoom call with over 100 people from either North or South America!!! For one second, I was stressed trying to read the closed captions translating Portuguese and Spanish, but then I was in happy tears.
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…” — Revelation 7:9
After the Zoom call, I headed over to FCA University to complete the FCA International Trip Preparation training. No, I'm not headed out of the country any time soon, if ever, but I am committed to doing my part to support our neighbors. The training explained that, "God has always been international. The Bible was written with a global perspective, by a global God, for His global glory. He is for all people, in all places, for all time."

Right now, this room is filled with kids learning math but EARLY this morning it was this group and God’s Word. Student-led Bible studies have officially started at JCMS! LET’S GO!!!
Speaking of student-led, we had two middle school FCA leaders and one high school FCA leader kickoff JCMS' weekly Cross Country Team Huddle this afternoon! As I sat there at their feet, my mind kept racing to scriptures describing the crowds pressing in to be near Jesus. This group started pretty spread out, but kept coming closer! Amen! I pray these three FCA leaders keep drawing them in with His word. He has given each of them such a special gift and I’m honored to learn from them!

I meet with Area Director Jason McBay in person once each month now. We have time for prayer, devotional, and ministry updates. For today's devotion time, we watched and discussed Rabbis and Disciples with Walking the Text. It was different from anything I've done before, but I am looking forward to all I will learn through this series!
This afternoon, I was at Jasper County Middle School. Our Softball Huddle focused on their 4 prayer requests for the team: good communication, good sportsmanship, support, and constructive criticism. They were VERY curious as to why I showed up to Huddle with three different Bibles, but I wanted to spend some time talking to them about the importance of finding a Bible you will actually read and understand! You can have 10 Bibles and they can even have really cool covers, but it doesn't make a difference if you aren't opening them, reading them, and applying what you read.
Ephesians 4:29 was the verse for the day, 29 No foul language should come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need, so that it gives grace to those who hear!"
August 18th, 2026
The Jasper County Middle School Volleyball Team Huddle today sure was sweet! I had just enough Chick-fil-a points for everyone to enjoay a cookie as we studied 1 Corinthians 12:26. We read the scripture in three different translations before making the connection between God's Word and what I saw Monday night when Team B encouraged Team A after a tough loss and Team A celebrated Team B's win!
26 "So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it." - 1 Corinthians 12:26 CSB
26“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it. If one part is honored, every part shares in its joy.” - 1 Corinthians 12:26 NIrV
25-26 "The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part dependent on every other part, the parts we mention and the parts we don’t, the parts we see and the parts we don’t. If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance." - 1 Corinthians 12:25-26 MSG
After Volleyball Huddle, I headed to the first Jasper County Charter System Board Meeting since the start of the school year. I was accompanied by Miss Charlotte Duke, a second grader from Jasper County Primary School’s FCA. She opened tonight’s school board meeting by praying for our schools, students, teachers, and board! She asked Jesus for wisdom and for the light of Jesus to shine! Charlotte is such an amazing leader and threw the room for a sweet curve ball when she also had us stand to say the pledge! ONE NATION UNDER GOD
Seeing our Superintendent, Mrs. Tracy Blackburn, being so intentional with our kids, asking for prayer, and cheering them on is INCREDIBLE. Seeing parents like The Dukes who go out of their way to give their child an opportunity to shine their light for Jesus is INCREDIBLE. Being part of this community is INCREDIBLE.

We had a JCMS Leadership Team Huddle today. My goal was to get all of them through VIP (the Volunteer Impact Portal), but there seemed to be endless obstacles. My plan and every backup plan I could think of failed. BUT HIS WORD NEVER FAILS. So, we closed our computers, opened our Bibles, and dove into His Word. IT WAS SO GOOD and before I left campus, I spotted this flyer hanging on a classroom wall. I spend a lot of my day teaching God's word, but I LEARN so much more than I teach. I am so thankful for everything I am learning from our student leaders. Disciples making disciples.
Tonight, I was able to attend the first JCMS Volleyball Game of the season. I have a LOT to learn about volleyball, but I had the BEST time cheering them on! By far, my favorite part was seeing Team A race to the court to celebrate Team B's win! I will be headed into Huddle with them tomorrow and we will absolutely be diving into 1 Corinthians 12:26, "So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it."

Today and yesterday, the MCMS Leadership Team gathered to work through the FCA "Volunteer Impact Portal." It is NOT an easy process. ALL of our student and adult leaders start with a registration form that includes questions regarding their faith and the gospel. Then, they have to enter four references, before moving to a parental consent form or a background check for our adults! Finally, they have to complete two training modules. One covers Child Abuse Prevention and the other covers E3, FCA's discipleship strategy of Engage, Equip, Empower. I have spent a GREAT deal of time praying for them as they navigate through VIP and praising Him for every single one that is willing to jump through so many hoops to make sure FCA can continue to leading coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church!
August 13th, 2026
Yesterday, I had my first Huddle with the JCMS Softball Team, and tonight I had the joy of going to their first game!
So many of us have read, studied, and even memorized John 3:16, but have never heard the very next verse.
John 3:17 says, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
At Huddle, we talked about the nature of Jesus and showed the girls what it looks like for Jesus to sit at the right hand of the Father continually interceding for us (Romans 8:34).
In a world that is constantly looking for ways to tear us down, our Father is constantly lifting His children up.
During Huddle, I told the girls about my two-year-old son. When he was learning to walk, I never announced to the world every time he fell. I celebrated the two steps he took!
And I think that is a beautiful picture of our Father.
He isn’t standing over us, waiting to point out every time we fall. He is celebrating every step we take toward Him.
My son was able to join me at the game tonight, and he was sure to copy every cheer I hollered. 😂
It was a really good game, and I had so many favorite moments, but this is the one I want to share.
Even after a loss, coach and athlete locked eyes, grinned from ear to ear, high-fived, and went to congratulate the other team before heading back onto the field to pray together.
God is GOOD.
August 12th, 2026
I reserved a room in the MCHS Library for yesterday and today so I could meet individually with each of our leaders. Every meeting was so different.
I met some of them for the very first time, while others are athletes I met on my very first day with FCA last year. Some came to see me before school at 7:30 AM, when we could take our time. We had time to take care of business, talk, and pray together. Some came with their Luigi’s Ice during lunch, in the middle of the hustle and noise of the day. Two are seniors who were able to come during a free block, while others could only pop in for what felt like a few seconds between classes. I laughed with some and cried with others.
I didn’t know when they would come or how long they would be able to stay. I just sat there with expectancy and a nice view of the hallway, hoping that eventually each one would join me at the table.
As I sat there waiting for each one, I began to think about how God waits for us.
Some have known Him for a very long time. Some are sitting down for the very first time. Sometimes we come to Him early, before the noise of the day begins, and linger with Him for a while. Sometimes we come to Him in the middle of the busyness, bringing Him whatever we have at the moment. Sometimes we find ourselves in seasons when we can sit with Him for hours at a time. Other times, we may only have what feels like a few seconds. Sometimes we go to Him with laughter and sometimes we go to Him in tears.
But He is always there, waiting.
He is in constant expectation, looking forward to being in our presence, watching as we go about our day.
Join Him at the table.

With the lightning today, the gym was PACKED! Cross country was in the bleachers, the cheerleaders were out front, the football team was on the court, and the JCMS Volleyball Team was right in the middle of it all trying to get set up for practice.
I’m so thankful for Mrs. Christina Small, who opened up her classroom and gave us a quiet place to dive into Mark 11:12-14, the story of Jesus cursing the fig tree.
We talked about how we never want to be a “fruit tree” that is covered in leaves but has no fruit. The Christian T-shirts, the cross necklaces, and the Bible verses posted to social media are great! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the "leaves." But we want to have the fruit to go with them!
Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-Control.
Our lives should produce the fruit of the Spirit, not just display the appearance of following Jesus.
Before we left, one of our empowered Athletes prayed and asked the Lord to make a way for the volleyball team to have the gym for practice so they could prepare for their first match on Monday.
When we closed out Huddle, we walked back into the gym and it had cleared out! The gym was theirs. They were ready to run drills and get to work. AMEN.
One of the drills they did was a mirroring drill. One athlete was the leader, and her partner had to follow her movements at the net, mirroring her until she stopped and set the ball.
Are we mirroring Him? Are we following Him closely enough to know when He tells us to move and when He tells us to stop?
Join me on Monday, August 17th at 5 PM to cheer them on!
12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.

Don't tell me Jesus isn't in schools anymore. While I was on campus today, I was handed the Lady Dog Team Values. At first glance you may not notice, but look closely. The values are actually the 9 Fruits of the Spirit applied to softball with John 15:5 on the bottom of the page, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

Today we started off our Lake Oconee Area Team Meeting with a video that was posted to YouTube over 15 years ago. The video shows an elimination game between Alabama and Arizona State at the 2009 Women’s College World Series. With Alabama trailing 2–0 and the bases loaded, coach Patrick Murphy replaces four-time All-American Brittany Rogers with freshman Jazlyn Lunceford, who hits a go-ahead grand slam while Rogers enthusiastically cheers her on, demonstrating what it means to put your team before yourself. I had chills and teared up just watching it. It was a good reminder that being a teammate isn’t just about showing up. It’s about supporting each other, having the hard conversations, putting the team before yourself, and genuinely wanting to see the people around you succeed. I’m grateful for a team and a leader who are willing to have those conversations and keep working to become better together ALL FOR HIS GLORY.

God is ABSOLUTELY good and ALWAYS right on time. Every time I go to pray for this school year, I end up resting on "Go therefore and make disciples...." -Matthew 28:19. I have been asking Him SO many questions about what that will look like for this year and then He manages to reveal so many of the answers just in seeing these two faces.
I am blessed. I couldn't name every single person who taught me about Jesus and poured into me, but if I could make a list, Mr. CB Morgan and Mrs. Kim Staples would be somewhere near the top. Recently, I ran into both of them on the same day, but in two different places after not seeing either of them for MANY years. This was no coincidence, but instead...an anointed appointment.
Today is the first day of school in Jasper County and our schools aren't just places to learn, they're the mission field. Every classroom, hallway, cafeteria, bus, field, and gym is an opportunity to invest in others and point them to Christ. I am forever grateful for the MANY people who pointed me His way.

I received a REALLY exciting email today. The new Superintendent for the Jasper County Charter System, Mrs. Tracy Blackburn, reached out requesting FCA Leaders for invocation at each of the Board Meetings this school year! The Lord continues to show me that the opportunities for our kids (and adults!) to shine His light on campus are truly limitless.

It was the First Day of School in Morgan County and Open House in Jasper County! That makes for a VERY busy day for me!
Last night at the prayer walk, Pastor David Artessa mentioned that a baptism was taking place at the same time and that he wish he could be in two places at once. I understand the feeling! I wish I could be at every open house, but with all of them happening at the same time I had to figure out where I was needed the most. While our middle and high school athletes can just show up to Huddle, our younger kids need parent permission. For that reason, I decided to setup at JCPS and talk to as many parents as possible!
When I arrived at Jasper County Primary School I was so surprised! Not only did they already have a table set up for me, but it had a table cloth and a beautiful sign already printed. Then, I discovered that they included FCA on their Open House BINGO Card! That means that EVERY parent was encouraged to bring their student by our FCA table and earn a chance to win a prize from the school! HOW AMAZING IS THAT!? I am so thankful for our administrators!! Thank You, God!
We had 91 students sign up for Huddle tonight, but it isn't too late to get your primary school student signed up! Click the link to the left and get them signed up today!

I was blessed with the opportunity to be at Monticello Baptist Church this morning for their Gameday Sunday! There was an anointed time of worship and I was so grateful to be given a few minutes to personally thank the congregation for their support. Tonight, I joined the MBC family once again for their Prayer Walk.
I do not believe in coincidences, but I do believe in anointed appointments. Being able to ride from school to school with my own grandmother, "Meme," praying over Jasper County Middle School just as Principal Dionka Jackson was about to get in her car to leave for the day, and putting my arm around a Mighty Woman of God as we pray for her school are all anointed appointments I will not take for granted.

"The Ministry Game Plan is the central planning tool used by FCA staff to create, track, and submit their ministry plans for the fiscal year. It provides a structured “road map” that aligns your mission, vision, values, and strategy with SMART goals across various ministry areas."
Today, I met with Area Director Jason McBay to evaluate last year's plan and to review my plan for the upcoming year. To summarize everything, I've gone wide. Now, it is time to go deep.

12 hours ago, we were at the Jasper County Community Food Bank and there is still one little face stuck in my mind! She was SO excited when our JCMS FCA Leaders let her pick out her favorite book bag from the pile. She immediately opened it up to check out all of the school supplies and her new Bible! Then, she hugged it tightly and said, "TAKE MY PICTURE!"
Verse of the Day: "...It is better to give than to receive." -Acts 20:35
So thankful for my FIMC - First Independent Methodist Church family for providing all of the bookbags, school supplies, and Bibles, for Mrs. Kim McMichael and the Jasper County Community Food Bank for welcoming us in, for FCA Teacher Sponsors like Mrs. Carri Miller and Miss Summer Wilbanks who lead by example, and for student leaders with servant hearts.

I had the opportunity to be at Morgan County Elementary School's Open House, and these two absolutely filled my heart to overflowing.
I manned the table while they worked the halls, inviting both old and new friends to join us for Huddle. About every 20 minutes, they'd run back to home base to check how many students had signed up using their link.
103.
Wow, God. Please join me in praying for these 103 students, and for the MANY more who will sign up as we head back tomorrow for the second night of Open House!
ALSO I want to give a special shoutout to MCHS FCA Leader, Jayce Slaughter!
Throughout the night, I saw Jayce setting up a tent for the band, building a shelf for teachers, and even cleaning up outside as I was pulling out of the parking lot.
That kind of servant leadership is so inspiring.
The FCA family is one I am SO proud to be a part of, and I can't wait to see what God continues to do this school year!

Drew Thomason, Youth Pastor at Redeemer Church of Madison, invited me to a Back to School Prayer Walk. I have never been involved in something like this before, but I don't see myself ever missing one in the future!
At the 3:15 PM walk we were able to go inside MCES and MCMS. The Lord led me to specific lockers, certain seats in the cafeteria, offices, and classrooms to pray over. I walked into spaces that felt like Holy Ground and some that brought me to my knees.
At 6 PM, Drew asked me to be stationed outside of MCMS. My group was able to huddle right in the middle of the BRAND NEW Rabern-Jackson Memorial Garden. From there, kids led us in prayer, asking Jesus to bless their year ahead. We were also able to pray over MCMS teacher and FCA Teacher Sponsor, Sara Rae Roton, and two MCMS students who were present.
May I never take these opportunities for granted.

Just 3 days ago, I shared that I had a financial need...
I now only need $280/month to be FULLY FUNDED for Year Two!
LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!
So many people think they have to give a HUGE amount of money to make a HUGE impact.
The truth is that the majority of my Home Team (monthly ministry partners) give between $10 and $25 each month.
One of the most impactful gifts I've received came from a former student who gave $11 as a one-time gift last year and $26.50 as a one-time gift this year. He has no idea how much he is now teaching (and encouraging) me.
Maybe there is one person who can give $3360 OR maybe it's
8 people giving $10/month AND 8 people giving $25/month.
HOWEVER God does it, I thank Him for EVERY gift and I pray for EVERY giver.
Thank you for praying, giving, and going with me to see lives changed, souls saved, and JESUS all over our schools!

On September 19th, I start YEAR TWO as a home missionary with Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Morgan County FCA and Jasper County FCA. Year one was truly OVERFLOWING with the Goodness of God. Each year, I have to personally raise support to continue serving in ministry. I am trusting the Lord for $1550 in monthly ministry partners. I am already praising the Lord and praying for those who have already given!

I've said it before, but I will say it again....I could NEVER document everything the Lord is doing. IT IS SO MUCH AND I AM SO GRATEFUL!
When a pastor gives me even a moment to speak to his congregation, I do not take that privilege lightly. He is the shepherd of that flock, entrusted with their care, and he is graciously allowing me the opportunity to share with them. That is an incredible honor. Pastor David Artessa at Monticello Baptist Church has given us an opportunity to share what the Lord is doing through FCA as part of their Game Day Sunday and then join them for their Churchwide Prayer Walk that evening at 5 PM. I'm looking forward to it and so grateful to be included!
I'm also so grateful for all of the sacred spaces and conversations I am invited into that can't be shared with all of you. One of our athletes said it best today, "Mrs. ScottiAnn all of the pictures from the big huddles and stuff on Facebook are really cool, but this is way better." What she was referring to was just the opportunity to "break bread," pray for each other, and seek His will. AMEN!

I LOVE when ministries come together to show the love of Jesus. FIMC - First Independent Methodist Church blessed us with book bags filled with school supplies and Bibles! The Jasper County Community Food Bank blessed us with an opportunity to give them to our community! These book bags have been prayed over by MANY mighty men, women, and children of God. We are sending HIS love and power into our schools!

While I lead a LOT of FCA Huddles, I have the opportunity to participate in one as well. In the middle of a fairly chaotic day, I was able to step away for an hour to gather online with a group of amazing women from across the United States. I met so many different people during my week in Kansas City for Training Camp in May, but I have the pleasure of being in a Huddle with 6 of them. During today's Huddle, we talked about our "soil." Our soil is the environment in which God's Word and calling take root and grow. It is the condition of our hearts, minds, and lives. We talked about the good, the bad, what we couldn't see in ourselves, and what we saw in each other. Our amazing Huddle Leader, Patrice, ended by giving us a good homework assignment: take the praise-onality quiz. The results are in, I'm a Soulfire. I don't know if I've ever read a more accurate description of myself.

Special delivery!! Today, I was able to stop by each of my lower grade schools to drop off book bag tags, straps, and...FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT MAGNETS! Our youngest athletes have to have parent permission to participate in Huddle. After returning their permission slip, they are given a special book bag tag to get them into Huddle. This year, they will also receive a special gift for each Huddle they attend...a custom Fruit of the Spirit magnet!! They have 9 Huddles at their school, 9 Fruits of the Spirit to learn, and 9 magnets to collect!

MCMS Cheerleaders are LOCKED IN! This weekend I hosted my very first FCA Camp! The girls improved as athletes, as a team, and most importantly…as disciples for Him! During their 24 hours together, they managed to practice, participate in a UGA Cheer Clinic, make core memories as a team, and dive into the word of God during four special Huddles:
Connect - Cultivate - Choose - Commit
“My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be my disciples.” -John 15:8
Thank you to two of our new FCA Leaders at MCMS, Blake Crawford and Wesli Doolittle, who attended Leadership Camp this summer and came back ready to lead a Huddle for their team this weekend!
Thank you to ALL of the parents who made this such a special time for each girl!
Thank YOU, JESUS for being so present.
Is it crazy to say, I'm already planning for next year?
July 16th, 2026
Today, we gathered as the Lake Oconee Area Team. I say it every time and I pray I never stop saying it...I LOVE our monthly meetings. There is something special about having all of us in the same room. We dive into The Word together, share praises and prayer requests, pray, and plan for the month ahead. This time, I had a special request. Teams have jerseys and those jerseys are more than just something they wear, it's a reminder that they belong, that they're part of something bigger than themselves, and that they're working toward a common purpose.
That's exactly what I want for our FCA family. So many incredible people are pouring their time, energy, and hearts into this ministry, and I want every single one of them to have the opportunity to put on FCA gear and proudly represent the team.
So, I asked for a custom FCA gear store! My hope is that people throughout Jasper and Morgan County can wear a shirt, hoodie, or crewneck that not only shows they're part of the FCA team but also sparks conversations and helps share the mission of FCA throughout our communities.

There are 60 middle and high school FCA Student Leaders between Jasper County Middle School, Morgan County Middle School, and Morgan County High School. That is a LOT of kids, but it is VERY important to me to ensure that each one is discipled this school year by an adult FCA Leader.
Today, I worked on matching students to adults. There is a LOT to consider and I confess I am still getting to know ALL of the leaders. Please join me in praying for these matches. In some schools, each adult FCA Leader is able to have just one FCA Student Leader and in some schools they have as many as 7. Pray for not only their relationship with each student, but the relationships between students in the group. We want to lead each and every single one of them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

The JCMS Student Leadership Team gathered tonight to share a meal and join in the Georgia Statewide Bible Reading, an annual event where the entire Bible is read aloud across all 159 counties on 7/14.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
Jasper County was assigned Psalm 55 - 68 and I could barely read the words in my own Bible as I heard OUR student leaders boldly sharing God's word from the Jasper County Courthouse steps.
At one point, a guy in a loud truck circled the square with the window rolled down and yelled, "HELP ME!" I know his intentions were to be funny, but I couldn't stop thinking about two things. First, the world will ALWAYS try to distract you from what the Lord is trying to do right in front of you. Second, we are surrounded every single day by lost souls crying out for a Savior. It's time to introduce them to Him. LET'S GO.

Around the same time I came on staff with FCA, the ministry was transitioning to a new platform for managing volunteers. I saw the new Volunteer Impact Portal back in October and it was a little overwhelming at first glance. Today, I had a second glance and it was SIGNIFICANTLY less overwhelming. I actually really admire ALL that FCA does to protect the ministry, staff, volunteers, coaches, athletes, and EVERYONE involved. It's also really neat to think about having a "discipleship database" of sorts! How cool is it to have a giant list of people that want to lead others into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church!?

When a coach approached me about sending the MCMS cheerleaders to FCA Camp, I was PUMPED. She's been to camp with the softball players, loves it, and wanted her cheerleaders to experience it too. Unfortunately, we were a little late in the game and couldn't quite make it work for this year.
We pouted for a second and considered settling for next year, but by the time the call ended we had our own FCA Cheer Camp on the calendar.
Today, I started sketching out an actual plan for the camp. In some ways, I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing and in so many other ways I feel like I was made for exactly this.
On an important side note, I met Morgan for the very first time about 10 months ago and she has quickly become one of my very best friends. Thank You, Lord for SISTERS in Christ who love hard and challenge me in all of the best ways.

Last week, I had the privilege of taking 27 of OUR students to FCA Leadership Camp. At the same time, 5 of OUR coaches, along with their spouses and children, traveled to Epworth by the Sea on St. Simons Island for FCA Coaches & Family Camp.
This year's global FCA theme is "Proven," based on John 15:8. God's Word tells us that we prove to be His disciples by bearing fruit that glorifies Him. I prayed for disciples who make disciples and that each camper would experience the manifest presence of God. Thank You, Lord, for answering those prayers!
Camp costs $525 per person for the week. Every camper receives a Bible, devotional, journal, transportation, T-shirt, meals, lodging, and the MIRACULOUS work of the Holy Spirit throughout the week.
The majority of these students and families would not have been able to attend without our $250 Golf Hole Sponsors. Their generosity made an eternal impact, and I praise God for their gift and their heart to give.
As I read ALL of the thank you cards written to our golf hole sponsors, I was in awe of how wonderfully different they each were. Some have spelling mistakes. Some are written in less-than-perfect handwriting. Some are just a few sentences long, while others fill every available inch of the card. Many mention something as simple as the warm meals they received at camp. Many mention their encounter with God. Many describe how He changed their life this week and one even tells that she would not be alive today if she had not been at camp. Despite all their differences, every card tells the same story: because of your generosity, they experienced His love in a real and tangible way.
Thank you again...

I spent the day finalizing a special project for our early grade huddles and I can't wait to share it with all of you. For now, here is a sneak peek...
July 7th, 2026
I had the chance to join the MCHS Softball Team for their second day of FCA Team Softball Camp in Columbus, GA. When Jessi Stanley asked if I wanted to join her for a road trip to Columbus, I knew I couldn't turn the opportunity down. When we arrived, the girls were ready for back-to-back games. I, however, was NOT ready for the coach to welcome me into the dugout moments before the first game started.
If you've spent any time around a field, you know the dugout is more than just a place to keep equipment. It's where teammates encourage one another, coaches pour into their players, adjustments are made, and moments are shared that most people never get to see. Being invited into that space was an HONOR I will never take lightly. I hurried in and tried to wipe away my tears of joy from the corner seat.
I haven't learned all of the girls names yet and I certainly did not want to get in the way, so I didn't do my normal hootin and hollerin from the dugout. BUT what a blessing it was to be in the dugout as they won both games at the South Commons Softball Complex, the same place where I plan to see them win the State Championship in November.
After the wins, we were off to the evening conference where Sarah Roberts, Chaplain for the University of Oklahoma Softball Team, taught a powerful lesson on discipleship. "What does a disciple trying to make another disciple actually do? See People and Serve People."
Will Parker and Kelsi Jones, FCA Teammates, closed the service in worship and IT WAS OVER THE TOP. You know it is a good night when you go WAY over schedule and no one notices or cares. Holy Spirit was moving in that room! YES, GOD! Jessi and I had a super late night ride back to Jasper County, but the trip was worth EVERY SINGLE MILE.
June 29th, 2026 - July 3rd, 2026
I had the absolute BLESSING of joining 27 of our students on a school bus headed to FCA Leadership Camp this week. At the same time, 5 of our coaches, along with their spouses and children, traveled to Epworth by the Sea on St. Simons Island for FCA Coaches & Family Camp. I prayed each one of them would experience the manifest presence of God. I prayed the same for myself. Thank You, Lord, for answering those prayers!
A quick search of camp will reveal thousands of pictures capturing the fun we had through competition and fellowship on the island. Cameras and phones disappear when we step into praise, worship, and huddle. Not even a picture could never capture those sacred moments.
I would love to put into words everything I experienced in those spaces, but I know I don't have the ability and so much of it isn't mine to tell anyways. Those stories belong to OUR coaches and athletes, our OVERCOMERS by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of THEIR testimony. Please, ask them to share it with you.
What I can share are the "one-liners" I managed to jot down in my journal from speakers I heard throughout the week:
-Hearing About God is NOT Hearing From God.
-Chiseling away at the stone is how you get the statue.
-Commune with God, Connect to Christ Followers, and Call Others to do the Same.
-Fruit is the evidence of discipleship.
-God's withholding is ALWAYS for your good.
-Don't do life with a sprinkle of Jesus.
-Before you ask Him for it, ask Him if He wants it for you.
-You can't say "yes" to Jesus and "yes" to the world.
-"Follow your heart" is the worst advice you could ever be given.
-Let your failures be burned up, not your future.
-I better find clothes in the closet if this is where you abide.
-Dead stuff has no obligation. Life brings obligation.
-Sin can't take away your salvation, but it can make you feel like it has.
-Go and make disciples WITH Him.

I found this graphic for Discovery Bible Study (DBS) online and I had to share it! It’s a great cheat sheet. With DBS, you aren’t the teacher with all of the answers. Instead, God is the teacher and you are DISCOVERING answers as you read the Bible. Today, I was on page 32 “Equip with Scripture" in the E3 Playbook Devotional I've been doing with the FCA Leadership Teams. I think so many of us are hesitant to disciple because we think we don't know enough. I am encouraging ALL leaders to use DBS to guide their Huddles. Instead of worrying about how much they know, they can look forward to how much they will DISCOVER!
June 24th, 2026
I did not want to do the E3 Playbook with the leadership teams today. I had a MILLION excuses for not doing it, but ACCOUNTABILITY is a blessing. Right when I wanted to let one of the many excuses win, there were 53 student leaders on my mind.
I flipped to page 28 in the E3 Playbook to dive in and got stuck on one six letter word: SAINTS.
It was hard for me to accept that title. Is this scripture really talking about me? I dug deeper to the definition.
Saint is defined as “a Holy person.” What?!? That’s even harder to accept! Holy?! Me?! Doesn’t Holy mean perfect?!
No, “Holy” is defined as “set apart for God.” Yep, that’s me. I am that.
Sometimes we think we know what something means, but we’ve got to unteach some wrong.
BECAUSE OF JESUS CHRIST, I am a saint. I am a Holy person. I am set apart for God.

While speaking at Enon Baptist Church in May, I discovered they were getting ready for VBS and I was THRILLED to see Bear would be old enough to go! Vacation Bible School played a MAJOR role in my family growing up and I couldn't wait to get him signed up for his first one!
The theme was "Read to Achieve" and I confess, I had my reservations. Exactly how much reading would my two year old be doing?
I have a lot of experience working with teenagers. Over the last four nights, I picked up a TON of tips and tricks for working with younger kids AND I learned just how capable kids of ALL ages are. While learning God's word, Bear was able to work on letter recognition, sounds, and blending! IT WAS AMAZING!
As a middle and high school teacher, I always wanted to challenge my students and provide them with a rigorous learning environment. Lord, help me to do the same thing for coaches and athletes in FCA Huddles.
June 22nd, 2026
I ended up spending hours wandering through the Bible today. One scripture would point to another and then another and then another! When I went to share what I had learned with the leaders in the BAND App, I meant to tell them that the Lord had led me down a lot of "rabbit trails" today. I ended up posting "rabbi trails." I raced to edit the post and correct my mistake when Holy Spirit stopped me. RABBI trails!? That's good!!!!
Matthew, Bear, and I were able to visit FCA Leadership Camp in St. Simons last year for about 36 hours. It was a whirlwind trip and we certainly didn't get to see and hear everything the week held. BUT one of the speakers during that short period of time taught us about walking so close with the Lord that we are "covered in the dust of the Rabbi." I had never heard this before, but I have thought about it hundreds of times over the last year. May I be COVERED in the dust of the Rabbi, always ready, willing, and able to go down every RABBI TRAIL He leads me on!

As of this morning, we have 26 athletes from the Lake Oconee Area going to Leadership Camp. I can't help but picture each of these students standing in the center of "their circle" sharing the gospel. One of the tools from the E3 Playbook Devotional I'm doing with the leadership team is the E3 Map.
Excerpt from page 12 in the E3 Playbook:
Take a minute and remember the person or people who first shared the good news of Jesus Christ with you. Had they not shared the truth with you, your life might look very different Where do you think that individual heard the Gospel? Behind every believer is another faithful believer who engaged others to multiply the Kingdom. In Scripture, we see this process demonstrated repeatedly. Jesus engages individuals, but His invitation to follow Him is also extended into that person’s circle of influence. He engages both the individual and the people they are in relationship with. Consider how Jesus engaged both Zacchaeus and his circle of influence. He said, “today it is necessary for me to stay at your house.” In Greek, the word house is interpreted as household or circle of influence. Jesus wasn’t just going to a location but to a community of people who resided and interacted there. The result: salvation came to Zacchaeus’ entire household (Luke 19:1-10). When you Engage to Multiply, you don’t just see individuals, you see networks of people that can be transformed by the Gospel. One tool that illustrates this principle is the E3 Map. The E3 Map gives clarity and direction so that you can Engage to Multiply. Once you have created an E3 Map, start engaging using the principles previously outlined. However, as you go, remember what Jesus instructed. If the peace of the Gospel rests on someone, stay with them and invest in them (Luke 10:1-12). You are now ready to move from Engage to Equip!

HOW do you become a disciple who makes disciples?! The E3 Playbook provides tangible steps for discipleship, so I have challenged the student leaders to take the next 30 days to work through the entire book. I have also challenged them to check in on the BAND App each day to at least tell us where they are in the book or even better...to share something the Lord is teaching them. I'm excited. I'm actually beyond excited to learn from the book and to learn from these student leaders!
One of my MANY sayings as an educator was, "I will never ask them to do something I wouldn't do." Another one was "I always want to learn more than I teach." I said these two thousands of times in my decade as a teacher and I find myself saying them even more as an FCA Area Rep!
The E3 Playbook is available online for free and if you're reading this, I'm challenging YOU to join us on the journey!

GUESS WHO IS COMING TO PIEDMONT ACADEMY CHAPEL?! I am shouting praise to the King of Kings! Piedmont Academy is a private school in Jasper County, with Chapel every Tuesday morning. This year, I have been blessed with the opportunity to speak at six of the chapel services! The mission of FCA is "to lead EVERY coach and athlete into a a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church." Reaching EVERY requires being on EVERY campus and I can not wait to serve this school!

One year ago, we were spending the majority of our time in the hospital with Mrs. Cissy, Matthew's mama, after she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
On one of our drives to Emory, I received a text message with an audio recording. When I pressed play, it was the Lake Oconee FCA Area Director Jason McBay praying for us.
It meant the world to HEAR someone praying.
We knew so many people were praying. They told us they were praying. We believed they were praying. But there was something uniquely comforting about actually hearing one of those prayers spoken over us.
Recently, the Lord brought that recorded prayer back to my mind. Since then, He has been placing different people on my heart and prompting me to do the same for them.
June 12th, 2026
WOW! Today, I am praising Him and praying for everyone involved in the planning of FCA Leadership Camp and Coaches and Family Camp. In just over two weeks, coaches and athletes from across the state of Georgia will gather at Epworth by the Sea for a week of being engaged, equipped, and empowered to be disciples who make disciples.
There are exciting themes, fierce competitions, and delicious meals planned throughout the week. But if you look closely at the schedule, you'll see that the heart of camp is time spent in His Word...through workshops, Huddles, breakout sessions, conferences, and application sessions.
I have been tasked with getting the Lake Oconee Area athletes to and from camp. At times, I feel like it is such a small role in the grand scheme of things. Yet God continues to remind me that no assignment is insignificant when it is surrendered to Him. My prayer is that even the journey to and from camp will be a time of transformation, where conversations will be meaningful, relationships will be strengthened, hearts will be prepared to hear from God, and lives will be changed. May every mile traveled be used for His glory.

The mission of FCA is "to lead EVERY coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ AND HIS CHURCH." I want to introduce our coaches and athletes to as many different solid local churches as possible! Today, I created and shared a SignUpGenius for pastors, youth pastors, and children's ministers to sign up to speak at Huddles throughout the year!
You should have seen how confused, shocked, and then excited I was when I checked it about an hour later and saw we already had 7 different people signed up to speak! We are so blessed in the Lake Oconee Area to have so many people ready and willing to serve. Thank You, Lord!
If you attend a church in the Lake Oconee Area and your pastors are interested in joining us for Huddle, please let me know! I tried to reach out to everyone I could think of, but I'm certain there are powerhouse churches that I don't know about yet or managed to leave off by accident!
June 10th, 2026
This was my view for the day...our newly renovated sanctuary at First Independent Methodist Church! The renovation of this House of the Lord, built in 1920, included the addition of a sound booth and a lot of electrical work! Our pastors asked if I could be there today for the setup of the computer.
I started attending FIMC full time with Matthew shortly after we started dating. I don't know exactly when or how it happened, but it wasn't long before I found myself running the computer and/or soundboard during services. Now, I feel odd to sit anywhere other than behind the computer during a church service. There are so many different ways to serve your church, but this is by far MY favorite.
While the computer was being set up with the platform and resources we use, I was able to work on some FCA business. I felt like I was literally working in His office! It was perfect. When I had finished making several phone calls and responding to emails, I went to charge up the new laptop before leaving for the day. That's when I discovered the problem. Because of where the ports are, I couldn't connect to the sound board and charger at the same time. I was SO frustrated!!! To tell you the truth, I was mad.
After such a productive and meaningful day for both FCA and FIMC, it was aggravating to see it ruined over something so ridiculous. I literally started to cry, snapped this picture to send to Matthew, and went to get the box so I could start the return process. Before I could even get to the box, Matthew responded with the most simple solution. I laughed. I cried. I laughed some more. I was ready to throw in the towel or even throw the laptop against the wall, but not Matthew!
Today, I am reminded of the Potter and His patient work in our lives. Scripture doesn't say that God merely makes new things; it says, “Behold, I am making all things new” (Revelation 21:5). What a comfort to know that when I am frustrated, broken, impatient, or ready to give up, the Master Potter doesn't discard the clay. Instead, He continues His work, shaping and refining it according to His purpose (Jeremiah 18:1–6).
Thank You, Lord, for never throwing in the towel on me. Thank You for Your grace, Your patience, and Your promise to keep making all things new.

I know parents of athletes are juggling a lot, especially when it comes to scheduling. For that reason, I am ALWAYS looking for ways to make things easier on them and help ensure FCA stays visible on the calendar through even the most hectic seasons!
This upcoming year, all Morgan County schools will hold FCA Huddles during the same week of each month, and every school will focus on the same Fruit of the Spirit during that week. Our hope is that this will not only help with scheduling, but create opportunities for families to have meaningful conversations at home as students across all grade levels learn the same biblical truth.
I am also working on designing business cards for each school with their Huddle dates. This past year, we added one of these to the school transportation tag on bookbags at Jasper County Preschool and we were given some positive feedback! If you have ANY ideas or suggestions for helping our parents, I would LOVE to hear them!

I may not use Instagram, but FCA Leadership Camp on St. Simon Island sure does! This morning, I was talking with some of our athletes who will be attending Leadership Camp for the first time this summer. They had a LOT of questions and I felt like I had very few answers. When I reached out for some help, I was directed to this account and felt like I was falling down the rabbit hole! I couldn't help but look at every photo, read every caption, watch every recap video, and be FLOODED WITH JOY! These are not professional models in these photos, but they are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL children of God! I see athletes from Morgan County, Jasper County, and across the state of Georgia. I see students that sat on the front row of my Biology class and praised Him from the front row in our cafeteria Huddles! I see kids who changed me, kids who were changed by Him, and kids who will LEAD us in seeing the world transformed by Jesus Christ. You NEED to go check it out!

I first discovered Conley Cove Sunday School or "Lake Church" nearly a decade ago when Matthew was asked to fill in on drums. I remember pulling in and being in complete disbelief that something like this could even exist so close to home. It was the diamond in the rough; a big pavilion in the woods, right next to the lake, filled with church pews, God loving folks, and gospel music.
When Mrs. Teri Hauther reached out and asked if Jessica Stanley and I would be interested in coming to speak about FCA, I said yes before I could even tell Jessica what it was! I'm really glad that she agreed to go with me and introduced FCA in such a beautiful way. It really is amazing to see what the Lord can do with a, "YES!"
I loved every second of our time there. They love God, they love family, and they have fun. It doesn't get any better than that. God works in so many different spaces and places and I praise Him for giving me the opportunity to see and experience so many of them! You should too: 240 Waters Bridge Circle in Covington at 10 AM!

Our monthly Lake Oconee Area Team Meeting was today! There was a LOT on the agenda, but my favorite topic was LEADERSHIP SUMMIT! Leadership Summit is the one time each year when student and adult leaders from all five counties rally, the new annual ministry theme is presented, and we have the opportunity to teach and learn from each other! Leadership Summit has officially been scheduled for August 8th, 2026.

One of the biggest struggles I've had since coming on staff with FCA is not being able to communicate directly with student leaders. Over the past 8 months, however, I have shared this struggle with so many different people and several pointed me to the BAND App. Today, we officially launched the app as our communication tool for the upcoming school year! I was excited before, but the app has already been a game changer! One of the unique features I am excited to use is called the "Group Challenge!" It is an interactive tool that will allow us to set shared goals, track daily progress, and stay accountable! LOVE THIS!

I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Pastor Rich Miller and his wife, Mrs. Becky, on March 19th at our Night of Impact. Pastor Miller stopped me afterwards and asked if I would come and speak at Enon Baptist Church as part of their May Missions. This morning, they welcomed us in and allowed me to share what the Lord is doing through FCA. We had an awesome time in the house of the Lord, the Lord laid BIG plans on Pastor Miller's heart, and I LOVED hearing Mrs. Becky talk about their upcoming VBS over lunch! VBS holds a special place in my heart and if you have a child between the ages of 2 and 12, Enon's "Read to Achieve" is June 21st-June 24th! Get them there!

When I first started teaching, I would get a lot of visits from Mr. Jerry Bunch. He worked for Middle Georgia RESA and would often stop by just to check on me, troubleshoot technology, and teach me a new tech tip. If you ever asked him how he was doing, he would ALWAYS respond, "Living the dream." The response stood out to me no matter how many times I heard it and I admired him so much for it. I haven't quite gotten in the habit of responding that way, but I am absolutely living the dream. Every time I slip up and respond with, "Good. How are you?" I immediately regret it and want to clarify that I'm actually better than I have ever been in my life, beyond grateful, and blessed to overflowing!
That being said, there are also really hard days in ministry. Recently, I've been struggling with several hard days back to back. So, when my mentor, role model, friend, and all around woman of wisdom invited me to bring Bear over for breakfast smoothies and some Polaris riding, I couldn't have gotten there fast enough. When my parents invited Bear to have his very first sleepover that same night, I started quickly packing his bags!
Right in the middle of packing, I started to feel unbelievably guilty. I am living the dream. So, why was I so excited to get away from ministry this morning and why am I so excited to send my greatest blessing away tonight?
Then, there was Bear's Jesus doll stuffed in the top of his sleepover bag, reminding me of what I learned at Jasper County Preschool. Bear's Jesus doll attended several of their huddles with me and at our last huddle, the preschoolers seemed to really struggle with the idea that on the seventh day of creation God rested, but didn't sleep. I even tried to reassure them by reading Psalm 121:4 that says He "will neither slumber nor sleep."
When I told our Assistant Pastor Michael about their struggle, he challenged me: God doesn't sleep, but did Jesus?
WOW! While God does not sleep, Jesus certainly did. In fact, He was found sleeping in the middle of a storm. Why? Because he was a tired human like us! Even if you're "living the dream" and blessed beyond measure, you still need rest. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is take a good break, get some rest, and allow Him to refresh us.

It was the last day of post planning in Morgan County and our FCA Teacher Sponsors at MCMS cleared their morning schedules for one last FCA meeting of the school year. They are a tight knit group of co-workers AND FRIENDS. I feel honored to be welcomed into their circle and sometimes it's hard to believe that I didn't even know them 8 months ago. We worked through a lot of the details for next school year, but we couldn't part ways until we had some fun fellowship planned for our new leadership team this summer!

Mrs. Carri Miller is a wife, mom to two beautiful girls, eighth grade math teacher, an amazing friend to me, and the FCA Teacher Sponsor at JCMS. Today, we met to finalize the 2026-2027 Leadership Team. Holy Spirit has us on the same page; the ministry has grown wide on campus and now we are growing deep. These six students are prepared to be disciples who make disciples, leading huddles on campus and on their teams. It's a special group of kids and God is going to do something unbelievable in and through this group.

These came in the mail to me today and I can not wait to get them in the mail to the people who give to this ministry every single month! In the Winter, I mailed out my very first newsletter and had EVERY intention of continuing to mail out quarterly newsletters. Unfortunately, that is not sustainable given the cost to print the newsletter, buy the envelopes, and buy the stamps.
When the Lord first called me to be a home missionary, I promised myself that I would do whatever I could to make sure the people supporting this ministry knew exactly what was going on and knew they were part of it!
Thank You, Lord for pointing me to postcards! They are cheaper to print, don't require an envelope, and are cheaper to mail. The only downside is they provide less space for me to share. But, I've heard "a picture is worth a thousands words" so I was sure to pack in as many pictures as I could and I will continue to provide daily updates here!

This year, we had 72 students apply for the 2026-2027 FCA Leadership Teams! That alone says so much about what God is doing in Morgan County. We are incredibly proud of EVERY student who stepped out in faith, went through a VERY rigorous application process, and HAS A DESIRE TO LEAD OTHERS TOWARDS CHRIST!! Praise the Lord!
The application process began with a written portion in which students had to explain their own salvation, how they would lead someone else to Christ, and WHY they have a desire to lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. They also had to commit to weekly meetings before and/or after school next year. After the written portion, they had to complete the online Student Leader Training in FCA Academy and be eligible to attend an additional week of FCA Student Leadership Camp at St. Simon's this summer. Each applicant also had to receive a positive reference from a church leader, a teacher, AND a peer. Many applicants even attended a one hour information session with me that focused on clarifying the Gospel, mission, vision, and values of FCA. Most importantly, all applicants were challenged to spend intentional time with the Lord asking Him if He was CALLING them to serve in this role.
The strength and quality of this year’s applicants has made this process INCREDIBLY difficult. We see students with genuine faith, leadership potential, servant hearts, and a desire to make Jesus known on campus.
Being on the official FCA Leadership Team is just ONE way to serve. You do NOT need a title to make an impact for Christ on campus. Some of the strongest leaders may never hold an official position, but they choose every day to love people well, live boldly for Jesus, and serve faithfully.
To every applicant: thank you for your heart, courage, time, and willingness to lead for Jesus. FCA is better because of YOU.
Please help us congratulate our 2026–2027 Morgan County FCA Leadership Team!

This morning we had the last Huddle of the school year at JCPS! Melissa Houston is the teacher sponsor for this huddle and she is absolutely phenomenal. One thing that is really special about what Melissa does, besides the best music and motions, is that she always has a wide variety of speakers. I've heard everyone from pastors and student leaders, to parents and grandparents! This morning, Mrs. Sharon Campbell came dressed and ready to remind us that it is IN GOD WE TRUST! She had on her penny shirt and blessed every student with a keepsake penny.
Melissa said she wanted to do something a little different for their very last huddle. Before leaving, she had everyone circle up for prayer. It takes a few minutes to get hundreds of primary school kids in a circle and quiet, but boy is it worth it.

Do you want to know what is really cool? Jessi Fincher is not only an amazing friend and sister in Christ who PATIENTLY waited when I was late for breakfast this morning, but she is also the FCA GA Regional Director of Ministry Advancement! HOW COOL IS THAT?!
The entire Georgia Region Leadership Team was coming together at Farmview for their monthly meeting, so after breakfast I was able to hug the ones I had not seen in a while and officially meet Steve Pruitt, FCA GA Regional Director of Sport, and Randy Bruno, FCA GA Regional Vice President. I'm so thankful for Randy who delayed starting their meeting in order to see how I was doing, speak words of wisdom and encouragement, and have sweet Brooke Shealy pray over me. I work for the Most High God and the most amazing ministry.
On a side note, I had to capture a picture of Steve and Jessi. It was like watching brother and sister across the table from me.

Today I was at MCMS during ELT for their FCA Foundations course! All MCMS Leadership Applicants were invited to the library to hear more about ministry through Fellowship of Christian Athletes. They were also directed to complete the FCA Student Leader Training and spend time in intentional prayer listening for the Lord's call to leadership. It touched me to watch one of the teacher sponsors tear up as kids bowed their heads to pray and seek God's face regarding FCA.
May 14th, 2026
After school today, all JCMS Leadership Applicants were invited to Mrs. Carri Miller's classroom for an FCA Foundations course. I wanted to make sure applicants really understand this ministry before we announced our official 2026-2027 FCA Leadership Team. We walked through the FCA mission, vision, values, strategy, the Gospel, discipleship, and the importance of hearing the Lord's call to ministry. It was a sweet time of learning, teaching, really getting to know each other, praying, and planning for the year ahead!

Things were a little different this morning at our last MCMS Huddle of the school year. Eight of our leaders served on a panel sharing everything from their favorite Bible verse and worship song to their favorite part of serving as a leader this school year. Eight months ago, I was walking into the MCMS library and meeting this group of kids for the very first time. I am so impressed by the entire team and honored to have a front row seat to all the Lord is doing in an through them.
Sometimes I find myself making the drive from Monticello to Madison multiple times in a single day. That can be tough, but it's ALWAYS worth the drive. This afternoon, I was at JCMS for their last huddle of the school year. Mrs. Sarah Robinson from New Rocky Creek Baptist Church led the group through James 5:7-20 and with that, our students at JCMS have now heard the entire book of James! At one point, Sarah stopped what she was doing and carefully shared the gospel. It was a beautiful reminder for ALL of us! The gospel isn't just how we begin the Christian life, but the foundation for EVERYTHING that follows. All of God's Word ultimately points us back to Christ and what He has done for us.

Training Camp is a week-long experience in Kansas City, Missouri for staff to be poured into spiritually and professionally by talented FCA staff and partners. The training is specifically for individuals within their first year of being on staff and as soon as you arrive in Kansas City, you are placed into a huddle. I spent every day and every night this week with this small group of women who quickly became my dear friends. Aleta Guinto is serving in Oregon, Patrice Corso in Illinois, Amanda Hallman in North Carolina, Stacy Criss in Maryland, CC Holter in North Dakota, and Kim Decker is serving in Tennessee. These are MIGHTY WOMEN OF GOD and I can't wait to "sail away" with them again soon! "Mary had Elizabeth. Ruth had Naomi. Martha had Mary. God uses sacred sisterhood to redeem a generation."

Each month, the Lake Oconee Area team gathers to get in God's Word, discuss all the Lord is doing, and make plans for the upcoming month. I know I have shared their names and pictures many times before, but I want to take a second to share what they do for the ministry!
Jason McBay is our Area Director and his wife, Traci, is our Administrative Assistant! Cameron Griffin is an Area Representative like me, but he serves Greene, Putnam, and Taliaferro County! Jessica Stanley is an Ambassador specifically serving Washington Park Elementary School and Jasper County High School. Anna Mullins is also an Ambassador specifically serving in the area of social media and graphic design. Together, we are able to serve coaches and athletes in the five county Lake Oconee Area!
Thank you to our two newest hole sponsors for our upcoming FCA Golf Tournament at the Oconee Course and Reynolds! I am thankful for ALL sponsorships, but it is so special to see two local churches as hole sponsors. They are our teammates, cheering us on and working alongside us throughout the year! Today, I hopped on my computer to meet with my Sports and Culture Huddle for one last time. I've really enjoyed meeting with these women every week to learn and grow together. Today's topics: LAMENT and LEVERAGE.
"Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep."
-Romans 12:14-15
"And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness."

Paul Holmes in Memory of Susan Holmes
Mrs. Susan had a deep love for Monticello and a strong commitment to the local community and the state.
In 1998, she became the first woman mayor of Monticello and served in that position for twelve years. In 2007, former President George W. Bush appointed her state executive director of the Farm Service Agency of Georgia. From 2011 to 2023, Mrs. Susan served as a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives.
Mrs. Susan was named one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians by Georgia Trend Magazine and one of the five most outstanding women in Middle Georgia by the Girl Scout Council.
In the years after her retirement, state leaders continued to seek her advice and support on issues of importance, and she and Paul were always willing to assist former constituents. She embraced the concept of befriending and honoring all who came her way. No doubt she will be remembered as one of Jasper County’s and Georgia’s most outstanding citizens.

The speaker POURED out the truth in His word this morning at MCHS Huddle. I love hearing so many different mighty men and women of God share what the Lord has put on their hearts, but I love breaking into our small groups to discuss it just as much! Small group is such a sacred space for them to talk about what they are learning and where they are struggling. Also, PRAISE THE LORD for all of the new students that joined us this morning! We are so excited to see this group growing!

FCA Huddle + Jasper County Primary School
I LOVE when the "big kids" come to speak to the littles. Today, we learned that we have been set apart! One day, I see these same kids speaking to entire stadiums filled with people who are hungry for His word or who are hearing it for the very first time. We are HONORED to give them the opportunity to answer the call before the stadiums by leading FCA Huddles in classrooms, cafeterias, and gymnasiums.
Today we also remember Michael Rhodes.
What started as a way to honor his life and legacy continues to make an eternal impact in the lives of student athletes.
Because of the generosity of so many, $5,712.60 has been given this year. That means hundreds of Bibles will be placed into the hands of students—each one carrying the hope and truth of the Gospel.
That’s not just a number… that’s lives being changed.
What a powerful way to honor Michael and Brittany, by continuing to do good, to love people well, and to point others to Jesus.
Grateful to be part of a community that shows up like this. Continuing to pray that every Bible given reaches exactly who needs it.

MCMS Huddle This Morning!
It was our FOURTH huddle in a row having STUDENT speakers! We are so excited to see them USING the power inside of them!

I could barely make it through our "favorite song" this morning without crying. Today was our last FCA Huddle for the school year at Jasper County Preschool. What did we do this year? We prayed together, we praised the Lord together, we read the entire first chapter of the Bible, and learned about OUR CREATOR. God is so good!

The morning started at MCHS with Leadership Huddle and ended at JCMS with their monthly Multi-sport Huddle, but there was a great lesson to be learned in between! I had reached out to Josh McMillian from Monticello Baptist through Facebook Messenger back in March and asked if he would be interested in being our April speaker, covering James 4:1 - James 5:6. When that coversation moved from messenger to text messages, we managed to lose the "James 4:1-James 5:6" part! About an hour before Huddle today, I texted Josh with parking instructions and mentioned the passage from James. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry when Josh immediately texted me back letting me know that he didn't know we had been studying a specific book of the Bible and that he had NOTHING prepared for this passage from James! I assured him that all was well, we ALWAYS want to follow Holy Spirit's lead, and that he was welcome to do whatever the Lord laid on his heart. Less than an hour later, he shows up to Huddle and brings the fire with a message on JAMES 4:1- JAMES 5:6! It was awesome and I was in awe!! It was so clear that Josh was allowing Holy Spirit to just speak through him. I need to clarify that this particular passage is hard to teach on even if you have been preparing for a month! It is a large amount of text and is a bit all over the place in terms of trying to prepare a single message. When Holy Spirit is in the lead and you are obediently following, the message will always be just right.

At the end of March, I completed the online portion of the Sport and Culture Training. In April, I will have the opportunity to meet with a small group of women from across the state of Georgia virtually to discuss six different aspects of sports and culture. Today, when the cameras first clicked on and the microphones were first unmuted, it was a little awkward. Within minutes, it was like old friends as we discussed our first topic: LOVE.
"Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children, and walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God." -Ephesians 5:1-2

We want to give a HUGE shout of praise for what the Lord has done through Mrs. Jenny Slaughter and Mrs. Jenny Dolvin Hill at MCES! Thank y’all for giving your ALL for HIM, POURING into countless lives, and making an ETERNAL impact!
Today marked our final huddle of the school year, and what a journey it’s been. What started in 2015 with just 40 students in a classroom has grown to a gym with over 150 students who are not only hearing His Word, but boldly SHARING it.
This morning, two of our fifth-grade speakers taught on the Armor of God and showed exactly what can happen when kids are engaged, equipped, empowered, and poured into.
Again, please help us say a big THANK YOU to two mighty women of God who have faithfully invested in our students for over a decade.
We also want to welcome the next two powerhouses, Mrs. Abby Brame and Mrs. Christie Smith, as they serve as our MCES FCA Teacher Sponsors for 2026-2027 and keep growing the Kingdom! Thank y’all for being so willing and ready to run for Him!

CANES WIN!
Tonight, I was able to cheer on the Jasper County Boys Soccer team as they broke the school record for most wins in a season and managed to do it ON SENIOR NIGHT.
"The picture of the team praying together at the end solidified our message and secured Galatians 6:9 - it wasn’t our time when WE wanted to break the record, but in HIS time, when everyone got to step on the field and all the parents got to see it. HIS timing was way better than ours."
April 13th, 2026
The morning began at Jasper County Middle School, where I was able to join one of our student-led Bible Studies! I can not put into words how much I enjoy LEARNING from our student leaders. Today, we were finishing the book of Ruth.
A few weeks ago, I did an object lesson for one of my huddles using a glass of milk and chocolate syrup. I was talking to them about the importance of STIRRING UP THE GIFT OF GOD (2 Timothy 1:6). In my excitement, I stirred a little too much and the chocolate milk spilled all over my Bible. I was annoyed and frustrated, but it takes a lot more than spilled milk for me to get a new Bible. I did damage control and we kept on keeping on.
This morning, I discovered that the book of Ruth was stuck together from the dried milk. I wanted to be annoyed and frustrated (and disgusted) all over again, BUT here is what I heard instead....when you really stir up the gift of God, you get OVERFLOW and God works even in the most messy and stuck situations. Isn't that right, Ruth?

Today, I saw a sign that said "locally owned and operated." It had me thinking...Pastor Eric Schremmer needs a sign that says "locally owned and operated by a MIGHTY man of God!" I can NOT put into words how grateful I am for him and Pastor Kim Schremmer. They have POURED into me and my family in ways that I never dreamed or imagined. They are TRUE pastors and practice what they preach. Pastor Eric just so happens to also own Schremmer Service Center in downtown Eatonton! If you need something done to your car, go see him! Your car will be fixed but you will also be BLESSED just to have met him! Grateful to call Schremmer Service Center sponsor #5.
Pastor Eric and Pastor Kim have always been quick to share WHERE they learned to be true pastors. It was from Pastor Ron Smith at OUR church, First Independent Methodist Church. Pastor Ron and Mrs. Pastor have supported my ministry with FCA from the very beginning and they made certain FIMC did the same. I prayed for a pastor like Ron Smith when I was a child. He genuinely knows me, cares about me, encourages me, believes in me, and loves me. It means the world to call him MY PASTOR and it means the world to call FIMC sponsor #6.

My goal is 18 hole sponsors and while I would have LOVED to get all of them on day 1, it has been fun to see a new one come in each day. It also makes me slow down and thank the Lord for each of them. Today is day 4 and Pastor Tracy Reynolds of Grace Fellowship Madison just texted me to let me know they are going to be a hole sponsor! Grace Fellowship Madison is the first church I spoke at outside of my own church and my FIRST church hole sponsorship. They are such an encouraging, welcoming, and kind congregation. PLUS, they are located right across the street from the new recreation department in Morgan County. If you are in Madison and looking for a church home, you absolutely need to pay them a visit.

It's day 3 and our third business hole sponsor is Mrs. Wanda "MeMe" Cummings and The Shoppes of Monticello. If you haven't been to The Shoppes before, YOU NEED TO! It is a boutique with ALL kinds of different things, but it is also BEAUTIFUL inside! Walking through the store is like walking down an old street - picture indoor playground, but for adults! Everyone I know calls her MeMe, but what they may not know is I'm the one who gave her the name!! MeMe is my dad's mama, my grandmother, and a MIGHTY WOMAN OF GOD. She has poured His love and Word into me all my life. I'm grateful for her sponsorship, but I'm even more grateful to have such a powerhouse for Him in my life.

Jasper County is back from Spring Break, but Morgan County is just getting started! This week, I am going "door to door" looking for businesses, organizations, churches, and even individuals who may want to serve as a $250 hole sponsor for our upcoming FCA Golf Tournament at the Oconee Course and Reynolds! Praising the Lord for the FIRST business gift and giver, Moss Air Services. Be sure to check them out!

Today is Good Friday and last night, I could not sleep! Eventually, I decided to give in, get up, and get to work. The Lord had Fields of Faith on my heart and mind. It's literally OVER seven months away, but I want to be obedient. We will consider this your official SAVE THE DATE invitation!

It's VERY hard to believe we are already at the LAST Huddle for this school year at MCPS! Mrs. Sarah Ball, Director of Children’s Ministry at Madison Methodist Church, came to teach us about each day of Holy Week! She even left us with a super sweet reminder treat! It's been amazing to meet so many people in Madison doing ministry and I'm so thankful for their willingness to serve at FCA Huddles!
Now, for my lesson of the day. I ALWAYS want to be sensitive to Holy Spirit. Last night, He told me to put the "Jesus Loves You" gym bags I had left over in my car and to be ready to hand them out in the morning. I was tempted to explain to the Lord that I only had 48 bags. Silly ScottiAnn. At Huddle, I kept counting and recounting kids...always coming up with 47. I wanted to be sure every single one was able to get a bag. No one left out. I started praising the Lord for providing exactly how many I needed and He started speaking again. God is not close enough. He is perfect. At about that time, one last little smiling face came RUNNING into Huddle, through her book bag down, and plopped down on the front row to learn about OUR PERFECT FATHER.

MCMS Huddle was special this morning. We started with a new game called "High Ten." I have never been really big into all of the games to be completely honest, but my heart is full seeing all of the kids laughing, playing, and just being kids! I'm SUPER thankful for teachers that continue to search for ways to bring more fellowship and faith into every single Huddle. After our game, Miss Katelyn Doughty BOLDLY shared John 15! “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener…” I love hearing this generation sharing His word!
After Huddle, I was off to Putnam County to help my FCA teammate, Cameron Griffin, with the Putnam County Fields of Faith! The event may not start until evening, but believe me when I say... it takes ALL day to get there! BUT MAN IS IT WORTH IT?! In the middle of the setup work, we were BLOWN AWAY to discover that a BRAND NEW trailer was right around the corner and ready to be picked up! I want to say, "I couldn't believe it," but I'm learning to wrap my mind around Luke 1:37. "For with God nothing will be impossible." We picked up the trailer and IMMEDIATELY put it to use! Cameron summarized the entire night best: "full!! Full of surprises. Full of laughs. Full of tears. But most importantly- Full of the Spirit of the living God!"

Through FCA, I get to see HOLY SPIRIT in both private and public schools every single day!! Praise God! Last night I was talking to the Lord and asking Him to guide me to 18 businesses that would be willing to sponsor a hole at the Lake Oconee FCA Annual Golf Tournament. This money puts Bibles in kids’ hands, sends them to camp where they experience the manifest presence of God, and so much more! I’m still praying and believing for businesses, but I’m also asking parents, grandparents, and community members to consider sponsoring one of our SCHOOLS for $250 and getting the school logo put on the sign! MCPS and MCES were sponsored within 24 hours. Would you consider sponsoring 1 of our 8 amazing schools still waiting on a sponsor?!

This afternoon, we were in Leadership Huddle at MCMS diving into His word, discussing, asking the hard questions, and practicing our fellowship game for Huddle in the morning! Right now, everyone on leadership at MCMS is in the 8th grade. I can NOT wait to see these kids take on the high school campus!

Today, I completed the online portion of the Sport and Culture Training. The training has four objectives:
ONE GLOBAL MISSION
Create international and domestic structure, incorporation guidelines, as well as systems, processes and training to better develop, support and care for international staff and partners.
EXPANDED SPORT ENVIRONMENTS
Provide staff and volunteers the opportunity to minister to and through coaches and athletes in all sport environments with all levels and abilities.
STRENGTHEN OUR DIVERSITY
Invest in all levels of FCA leadership and ministry with tools, resources and training needed to understand and reflect God’s heart for every nation, race, ethnicity, male and female.
FCA FOR LIFE
Support each community of FCA’s constituents to enhance their discipleship journey over their lifetime.
In April, I will attend weekly virtual Huddles with other new staff as we continue to learn about sports and culture!
After a day of training, I headed to Madison for the LAST MCMS Track and Field Huddle of the season. This has been a special group. I've met so many new athletes who had never been to an FCA Huddle of any kind before. Now, they are plugged into our Multi-sport Huddle, asking about applying for leadership, and are growing their "relationship with Jesus Christ and His church!" Praise the Lamb! I will REALLY miss our weekly time "under the shady trees, but not on the acorns."
I get asked a LOT about what exactly I do. I've worked on the "one-minute elevator speech," but it's hard to summarize everything the Lord leads me to! That's one of the reasons I try to share at least one thing from each day with all of you here! One of the really cool and fun things I get to do is just be an extra set of hands for a coach whose hands are already full. Today, I was able to help a coach with her Teacher Appreciation gifts. Each teacher was given a framed picture with the athlete that chose them, along with a laminated note. I was a teacher for ten years before coming on staff with FCA. I know firsthand how overwhelmed they are and how much those gifts mean. I say all of that to say, THANK YOU LORD for giving me ALL kinds of different ways to serve.

The day began bright and early at MCHS Huddle! The speaker spoke on Psalm 20:7. “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” I was able to join the girls' small group discussion afterwards and we had the best conversation about our own "chariots and horses."
ALSO, Miss Harper Patrick's book study came in today! Harper is a sophomore at MCHS and has held a weekly Bible Study on Thursday mornings in Ms. Hackleman's classroom. Next week, they will begin "Room To Grow: A 10 Week Study of the Book of Philippians." I am consistently encouraged by Harper and her pursuit of the Lord! Praying MANY join her for this new journey!
The day ended at JCMS Huddle, where Youth Pastor Kody Tyson from Stewart Community Church spoke on "The Wisdom from Above" described in James 3:13-18. He urged students not to confuse fool’s gold for wisdom. I'm so grateful for people like Kody and Youth Pastor Hunter Lesley from Mansfield Baptist, who show up, share HIS Word, and pour into our students. I'm even more blessed by the conversations I overhear during their small groups after the speaker presents and the things like, "Hey... can we go to our prayer corner?"

Today, we launched our Lake Oconee Area FCA Golf Tournament, which will be held at the Oconee Course at Reynolds! This is our annual fundraiser. It takes a lot of money to do so much ministry. Praise the Lord, there are 36 churches, individuals, and/or families that give every month to cover my salary, liability insurance, and administrative fees. Now, I need to raise money for ministry resources. Those resources range from Bibles and FOUR bracelets to camp scholarships. My goal is to find 18 businesses, organizations, churches, or families that will say YES to being a hole sponsor for $250 each.

Have you heard about the JCHS Mens Varsity Soccer Team? They are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Sometimes, Huddles are an hour deep dive into The Word of God and sometimes they are a cosmic brownie and a reminder verse like John 17:16, "They are not of the world, even as I am not of it."
March 25th, 2026
Last month, two eighth-grade girls asked if they could be the speakers for MCMS' Huddle. This morning, another young lady in eighth grade stepped up and out for the Lord! It feels like we have entered a new era for MCMS Huddle and I can't wait to see what He does next! We’ve been reading the book of John this year and today she focused on Jesus washing His disciples feet.
“5 Next, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet and to dry them with the towel tied around him. 6 He came to Simon Peter, who asked him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” 7 Jesus answered him, “What I’m doing you don’t realize now, but afterward you will understand.” 8 “You will never wash my feet,” Peter said. Jesus replied, “If I don’t wash you, you have no part with me.” 9 Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head.”” -John 13:5-9
I'm still meeting new people in Morgan County almost every day and today I met Drew Thomason, Youth Pastor at Redeemer Church of Madison. It was GREAT to have him join us for huddle AND he ended up being an answer to prayer! This afternoon, our last soccer huddle for MCMS was on the calendar. Unfortunately, I REALLY NEEDED to be in Jasper. I was so worried that I might have to cancel huddle. Then Drew came in, ready and BEYOND willing to step in and lead the soccer huddle as they finished the Armor of God with the Sword of the Spirit. THANK YOU, Drew and THANK YOU, Lord!
Tonight, I was back in the Hurricane Stadium pressbox to announce the JCMS Soccer Teams' last home games of the season. I love these coaches and athletes beyond measure and enjoy sharing that love on the mic! They even let my little bestfriend join me! Memories to last a lifetime!
March 24th, 2026
It was Day 6 of Creation at the Jasper County Preschool Huddle, so we learned about how God made the animals and US!
I can NOT believe tennis has come to an end for MCMS! Today, we had our last huddle and I was thrilled to hear that some of them have started praying with their opponents before matches and even asking them about their salvation! WOW!
March 23rd, 2026
I'm not a history person, until it comes to huddles! At Morgan County Elementary School, FCA Huddle started in Mrs. Jenny Hill's classroom with 40 students in 2015. Over ten years later, she and Mrs. Jenny Slaughter are faithfully serving over 150 students in the gym! Next month, they will be passing the baton to Mrs. Abby Brame and Mrs. Christie Smith. Today, we had our first planning session for 2026-2027! They certainly have some very big shoes to fill, but I can already tell them are going to be RUNNING with Him!
I'm still sitting in my car outside of the track afterschool when two young men come walking up. They are volunteering to carry my things for huddle?! These athletes are HUNGRY FOR HIM!! I get fifteen minutes with them every week and I don't take a single second for granted. The God who made the universe in six days can certainly save souls in minutes.
March 20th, 2026
Can you believe we are already planning for 2026-2027!? This morning, we reviewed the MCHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Application for next year! It will be released to current leaders this afternoon and to everyone else shortly after! I'm already praying and believing for the group that will take this Huddle to the next level! God wants to do something BIG on this campus!
March 19th, 2026
Have you ever seen 351 primary school kids worshipping the Lord in a public school gym? It's certainly something worth seeing and I am SO glad that I was able to start my day worshipping right alongside them! After worship, my FCA teammate and the Area Director for Henry County, Chris Watson, shared a message on building each other up!
After school, the MCMS Tennis Team learned about the Helmet of Salvation at Huddle. I really enjoyed sharing my own testimony with them and challenged them to recognize their opponents NOT as the enemy, but as someone who may need to know the Lord! I believe one of them is going to lead an opponent to Christ one day! Using their platform for Him!
Tonight, the Lake Oconee Area FCA had our very first Night of Impact! I had the GREAT HONOR of sharing about the 5,600 FOUR Bracelets we were able to give away in 2025! I was also able to announce that we gave away 1,008 Athlete Bibles in 2025. One of those Bibles went to Emmitt Battle in September. Emmitt's mom, Sicily, was able to attend Night of Impact and share a POWERFUL testimony of how that Athlete Bible impacted not only Emmitt, but her entire family! GOD IS GOOD!
March 18th, 2026
The day began at MCES' Huddle where two fifth grade students taught us about St. Patrick, a 5th-century Christian missionary credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland! I want to learn more than I teach and I certainly did that today! Thank you, girls!
After huddle, I headed to Compassion Cafe in Eatonton for a workshop with Mrs. Deb Page, President of The Institute for Performance Improvement. Alongside other nonprofits in the Lake Country, we explored how to "shift from traditional meetings to learning together and collaborating for shared success." Ministry is happening ALL around us and I enjoyed hearing what so many others are doing and plan to do in our community!
After the workshop, I was off to JCMS for their Leadership Team Huddle. I think every time I am with this group, someone decides to step up for the Lord in a new way. Whether it is deciding to share their testimony at huddle or close us out in prayer, I am so proud of this group of LEADERS.
March 17th, 2026
I love a fun little mission! In preparation for Night of Impact, I needed to collect football helmets from each of the schools where I serve! These are going to be our centerpieces for the event. It was fun to travel around, pick them up, and see how they were all similar and yet unique! I certainly felt like I was building my own little football team in the trunk of my car! I also think it is a really fun adventure to find inexpensive and free ways to make extraordinary things happen.
March 16th, 2026
At our school huddles, we like to put something into the hands of our kids. Sometimes it is a Bible or FOUR Bracelet and sometimes it is a Chick-Fil-A biscuit or an Easter egg filled with Legos! Jasper County Primary School will have huddle on Thursday. They are my largest group and it is becoming more and more challenging to find something for everyone! Once I found out the speaker was going to be sharing 1 Thessalonians 5:11 and encouraging students to build each other up, the Lord gave me an idea and gave me an inexpensive way to make it happen! I have the BEST husband in the world, who stuffed eggs with me for several hours to make sure that all 351 JCPS FCA students would receive their huddle gift!
March 13th, 2026
One of my favorite things to do is to feed the belly and spirit at the same time! Tonight, I was able to help the JCMS Boys and Girls Soccer Teams celebrate 8th grade night with Chick-Fil-A box dinners and God's word! I was HONORED to see another coach join us in the bleachers for huddle. Thank you, Lord...your Word NEVER returns void! She was able to take the huddle message to her team right before they beat the #1 undefeated team in the public school DIV 1 bracket! Go Canes, but more importantly- GO GOD! Keep giving Him ALL the glory!
Between the girls' and boys' game, I headed to the baseball field to huddle with the JCMS Baseball Team. That is a great group of young men and it was really neat to be welcomed into their circle to share God's Word.
March 12th, 2026
After school, I was back at the courts for MCMS Tennis Huddle. One of the most exciting things is hearing the announcement over the intercom releasing tennis players to leave school for FCA Huddle! I may be listening from across the street, but I imagine them walking out of each of their classrooms, making their priorities known to their teachers and classmates! POWERHOUSES.
After tennis, I headed next door to the MCMS Track Meet! There was SO much going on, but the sports photographer still managed to capture the BEST thing on the track...athletes gathered in prayer.
March 11th, 2026
Next Thursday, we are having our very first Vision & Impact Night for FCA in Putnam and Jasper County! It is an opportunity for us to THANK all of the people who make FCA possible in these two communities, but also an opportunity to invite new people to join in this great mission! Today, I have been preparing for this great night and praising the Lord for continued vision and impact!
March 10th, 2026
Today, I was able to deliver dinner to one of our FCA Teacher Sponsors and their sweet little girl (aka Newest FCA Teammate)! I am SO grateful for our teacher sponsors! That is where my journey with FCA began! I know firsthand, that their schedules are packed and their hands are full, but they willingly add one more thing to their plate in order to see students worshipping The King on campus! I KNOW that the God who called them is faithful to sustain them in it all and that by His grace, they are equipped for EVERY calling placed before them.
March 9th, 2026
Today was a heavy day on campus. Much of my time was spent being present with students who are walking through a very difficult situation in their school community. I had the opportunity to listen, sit with students, pray with them, and remind them that they are deeply loved and not alone.
Days like this are a sobering reminder of how much students carry beneath the surface and how important it is for them to have people there who will listen and point them to JESUS. I’m grateful for the chance to be one of those people in moments like this.
After school, I headed to soccer and track huddle to dive back into the Armor of God and the shield of faith. I LOVE all of the amazing things I learn every time I get to teach! In preparation for today's huddle, I learned that Roman soldiers often used a formation called testudo (Latin for "tortoise"). In the testudo, soldiers would combine their shields to create a "shell" to protect the group. It reminds me of the paralyzed man who is lowered to Jesus through the roof by his friends and the Bible says in Mark 2:5, "When Jesus saw THEIR faith, he said to the paralytic, ‘Son, your sins are forgiven.’”
March 6th, 2026
Today, I was able to spend some time with my friend and teammate Jessi Fincher. Not everyone gets to have lunch with the FCA Regional Director for Ministry Advancement and MIGHTY WOMAN OF GOD, so I am trying to not take that for granted. Whenever I'm with Jessi I want to just pull out a tape recorder or a notebook and pen! She POURS into me so well and I am genuinely grateful for any time I get to spend with her.
This afternoon, we had our first MCMS tennis huddle. I'm always nervous and a little squirrely for the first one, but these firsts are an answer to prayer. Coaches don't have to let us in these spaces, but they continue to invite me and HOLY SPIRIT in!
March 5th, 2026
I started the morning bright and early at MCHS in Harper Patrick's Bible Study. My schedule doesn't allow for me to attend ALL of our student-led Bible Studies, but I LOVE when it works out for me to be there! This was my second time being able to attend Harper's and today she spoke on friendships and relationships. It was phenomenal to hear her be so open and honest, as she taught! She thinks I'm kidding when I say I learn so much from her, but I absolutely mean it. No better way to start the day!
Afterwards, I headed to our FCA office for a day of Administrative Training. Most people hate meetings and trainings, but I suppose I am not most people. I have ALWAYS secretly LOVED a good meeting or training session! Weird. Sitting at the table with my teammates, hearing about what is happening in the schools where they serve, and learning something new along the way is actually a blessing and an appreciated change of pace for me.
March 4th, 2026
Two of our FCA Leaders at Jasper County Middle School have started their own student-led Bible study for boys, and it is AWESOME! This morning’s topic was Covet vs. Content.
If you know one of the boys who was there this morning, ask him about all the things “Timmy” has! If you don’t know any, you should encourage EVERY 6th, 7th, or 8th grade boy that you do know to join this Bible Study on Wednesday mornings at 7:25 AM!
After Bible study, I headed directly to Mrs. Small's Business Class! I've been able to speak to her classes each quarter this year! As I share about my college and career journey, I am able to include the goodness of God and what He is doing through FCA.
I see a LOT of amazing things as I walk the halls of our schools, but this one STOPPED ME IN MY TRACKS today!! I LOVE that our FFA and Ms. Cora Lynn Wall are starting an FFA Blessing Box and we want to support it! If you want to donate, click here and send something their way! Praise the Lord!
March 3rd, 2026
This morning, I was invited to attend the Source of Light Brainstorming Session for a new teen course they are creating. I confess that I was not very familiar with Source of Light before the meeting, but I was ASTONISHED once I started learning! Ministry is happening all around us, praise the Lord! It was an honor to sit at the table with CEO and General Director Ron Barnes, Pastor Caleb Alexander of Fusion Church, Local Missionary with Source of Light Ben Doomy, Source of Light Author Kim, my FCA teammate Jason McBay, and three college women serving at Source of Light during their Spring Break! I was overwhelmed in all the best ways as we discussed and shared ideas. A HUGE thank you to Ben who took the time to give me a tour afterwards! Seeing "Our Daily Bread" being printed in braille to be mailed out to people all over the United States was certainly a highlight!
Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus
MCMS' Weekly Tennis Huddle will officially start on Friday, but I was able to join them for their Teacher Appreciation Match last night! What a blessing to see SO many using a tennis court for His Glory! I can not wait to dive into the Word of God with this group!
March 2nd, 2026
"When is huddle?"
We are SO grateful for our coaches that make time for Team Huddle, whether it is before practice, during practice, after practice, before home games, between games, or on the bus before an away game! If a coach is willing to make time, so are we!
MCMS Soccer Huddle is before practice on Mondays at 3:15 PM in the gym. MCMS Track Huddle is after practice on Mondays at 4:45 PM right next to the track. Today, the MCMS Soccer game started at 5 PM, so IMMEDIATELY after Track Huddle I raced across the street and back to soccer!
Have you ever seen a child SHINE for Him?!
Samantha Cathcart is one of the first MCMS FCA leaders I met when I came on staff. Tonight, when an opponent was not doing the right thing and was treating her poorly, I watched her stand firm with the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness, her feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, as she chose to shine for Him! I stand in awe of Him and His children.
PHOTO CREDIT to Jatavious "Jit" Ward, who just so happens to be another Child of the King using his platform to SHINE for Christ.
February 27th, 2026
Mrs. Danielle Copeland was our guest speaker at MCHS Huddle this morning!! I caught this picture before we got started and I’m glad I did, because I was so focused on what she was sharing that I completely forgot to capture anymore! The message was incredible, but then we broke into our small groups and it was amazing to hear her pour wisdom into the group! “All of your friends aren’t going to be Christians, but you NEED your group.” If your kids don’t have their group, get them to an FCA huddle!
February 26th, 2026
Today, I was able to spend some time helping Cameron Griffin, my friend and FCA teammate, as he prepares for Putnam County's Fields of Faith! The Lord is certainly not limited by county lines and I am SO thankful that I'm not either! I LOVE being able to serve both Morgan and Jasper County every single day, while also being able to help out our neighbors when possible! I am looking forward to April 1st and hope to have MANY of my Jasper and Morgan crew there to see what HE does that night!
February 25th, 2026
Two eighth-grade MIGHTY young ladies for the Lord were our speakers for the MCMS FCA Huddle! They started with John 12:35: 35 Jesus answered, “The light will be with you only a little longer. Walk while you have the light so that darkness doesn’t overtake you. The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going. I had the HONOR of listening in as they practiced the afternoon before. I LOVED seeing their faces light up when they thought about Jesus as "the light switch" that's ALWAYS right there, waiting for us to choose Him instead of stumbling around in the darkness. They ended with John 12:27-28: 27 “Now my soul is troubled. What should I say—Father, save me from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify your name." Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.” They shared that while they may have been nervous about speaking in front of over 100 of their peers, it doesn't compare to what Jesus did for THEM and they want to glorify His name every chance they get. WOW!
Last night, JCMS hosted the Quad 2 track meet and it was an AWESOME night! My FAVORITE part was when the Morgan County Coach came to find me in the stands just to tell me how much she enjoyed the Jasper kids, how they had been down there talking about FCA, and how we needed to get these guys together more often! Praise God, they may compete against each other, but they glorify Him together!!! Someone may have thought I was out of my mind as I cheered for BOTH the Jasper AND Morgan athletes, but God I’m just grateful for You!!!
February 24th, 2026
Believe it or not, a LOT of people ask me about WHY we have a preschool huddle. Doesn't everyone need Jesus? Besides, the mission of FCA is to lead EVERY coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. I started my morning at Jasper County Preschool's fifth huddle in history with one of our THREE year old athletes telling me ALL about baseball practice and Jesus. GOD IS SO UNBELIEVABLY GOOD.
February 23rd, 2026
I get to serve SO many different athletes, coaches, and teams in so many different spaces and places, BUT sometimes I get to explain the Armor of God with pool noodles in the library after a long and COLD track practice! I LOVE doing huddle with this team!
It was SO cold today, however, that I did not make it through the entirety of the JCMS soccer games! IT WAS FREEZING! There should be bonus points given for scoring in temperatures like that!
February 19th, 2026 - February 22nd, 2026
Matthew and I spent the last four days at Realtime, an event that only happens once every other year and brings FCA staff from around the globe together for faith, fellowship, and fun. This year's theme was FAITHFUL and we can not put into words how faithful our God has been to us. We enjoyed spending time with Him, each other, the Lake Oconee FCA Team, and teammates from ALL over the world. Who needs the Notes app when you can just text each other your favorite quotes from the event?!
God loves you for no other reason that He created you.
Don't EVER steal His glory.
God will do anything with anybody who will get out of the boat and trust Him.
Living in purpose for the sake of the gospel.
When we lost our loved one, He gained back His loved one.
God is not going to give us all the details because that would scare us.
Is God not glorified when you lose?
God can't fill people who are full of themselves,
If you teach and don't speak the name of Jesus, all you did was provoke the flesh.
His love is not passive or sentimental. It is active, steady, and enduring.
Your faith walk is more important than your spiritual work.
Minister with the mentality of HOLY SPIRIT or BUST.
If I focus on my walk, Jesus will do the work.
Death is working in us so that life can work in you. Die to self.
February 18th, 2026
The JCMS Leadership Team was back at it this afternoon, preparing for their upcoming huddle! They have changed some things up recently and it is so much fun to see them get excited about new ideas and what the Lord is doing! I'm honored to be welcomed into this circle, but I also REALLY love just being able to watch the Lord work amongst this group. My favorite part today? Here is a math teacher, in her classroom, assignment still on the board, probably incredibly exhausted from a full day of teaching middle school, but...USING HER PLATFORM FOR CHRIST.
^^^List from MCMS Student^^^
February 17th, 2026
Morgan County is enjoying Winter Break this week, but school is in session in Jasper! Today, I am spending some time getting ready for leadership and team huddles. During team huddles this season, we will be learning about the Armor of God. Last week, we did the Belt of Truth. I wanted a list of lies to use as part of the lesson so I wrote down five I had been struggling with: I'm ugly, I'm not good enough, I'm dumb, I can't do it, and nobody likes me. Without sharing my list, I asked a MCMS student to also make a list and share it with me. I discovered that what Satan had tried to use on a 33 year old woman was the same thing he tried to use on a 13 year old girl. The enemy has very few weapons and we can defeat him with the Word of God! As I read each LIE, I had athletes yelling back the TRUTH! "I can't do it" became Philippians 4:13, "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me." "I'm ugly" became Psalm 139:14, "I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Breast Plate of Righteousness is up next time!

Getting ready for next week's Jasper County Preschool Huddle! On Day 5, God made the birds and fish!
February 13th, 2026
The Lord laid it on my heart to have our students' Youth Pastors join us for huddle at Jasper County Middle School! I want the kids to see THEIR Youth Pastors, but I also want their Youth Pastors to see them and ALL of the other kids that may be looking for a church to call "home!" Hunter Lesley from Mansfield Baptist will be at next Friday's huddle. Kody Tyson from Stewart Community will be with us in March. In April, we will welcome back Mitchell Thompson from LifeNow. Mitchell actually spoke at one of our 2024-2025 huddles at JCMS! Then, we will end the school year with Sarah Robinson from New Rocky Creek! If you know of a Youth Pastor with students at JCMS, PLEASE have them reach out! We would LOVE for them to join us!
February 12th, 2026
Mrs. Chris Kennedy, the Children's Ministry Director at Redeemer Church of Madison, was our special guest speaker this morning at MCPS' Huddle. We were excited to see her BIG bag of sports jerseys and trophies! We spent some time talking about what teams we were on and how we recognize our teammates. THEN, we talked about TEAM JESUS and how we can show other people we are on His team! At one point, Mrs. Chris asked the crew about John 3:16. I was overjoyed by the number of kids eagerly volunteering to recite the scripture to the group and just as excited to see one searching for the verse as he learns to use his new Bible! Thank you, Jesus!
Tonight, I was back at Hurricane Stadium for the JCMS Soccer Team Huddles and to cheer on the Hurricanes in their THIRD home game this week. As I sat in the locker room with the girls listening to an EMPOWERED COACH pour life into them with words of wisdom, I found myself looking around and silently praised Him for allowing me into places and spaces that are so incredibly special. I read them the Competitor's Creed, prayed for them, and sent them off...LET THE COMPETITION BEGIN. LET THE GLORY BE GOD’S.
I spend a LOT of time thinking about how awesome the Lord is and how He led me here. Last night, I had the opportunity to announce for the girl's and boy's soccer games. WOW. I said I would do my best to serve in whatever way I was called and tonight was one for the books! Bible and cowbell next to the control panel, microphone in hand, and GOODBYE YESTERDAY blasting in the stadium. YES GOD! Thank you, team! So proud to be a Hurricane.

This morning, we kicked off MCES Huddle with a fun game of Bible Verse or Song Verse! It was fun to watch the kids (and adults) debating each one! You should give it a try, “Deep calls to deep at the roar of Your waterfalls." Bible verse or song verse?!
After the game, we got right into the word with an AWESOME object lesson on love. We also spent some time learning about how sin often starts internally, in our hearts, before becoming an outward action.
Huddle was happening just around the corner at MCMS as well this morning! It's mornings like these when I REALLY wish I could be in two places at once!
The evening was spent at the soccer field cheering on the Hurricanes! In my book, they had won before the games even started, warming up with Christian music blasting over the loud speakers.

I love SO much about FCA, but the E3 strategy is somewhere near the top of my list. The E3 strategy is a three-stage discipleship model of Engage, Equip, and Empower. When I reached out to the JCMS Soccer Coach to ask about huddle, she had already been making plans! I LOVE AN EMPOWERED COACH! Most of our FCA Team Huddles take place before or after weekly practices, but the JCMS Soccer Team is having huddle before all of their home games!
The JCMS Boys Soccer Huddle is being led by Josh McMillian, Student Minister at Monticello Baptist Church, and we are SO grateful for his commitment to this team as an EMPOWERED VOLUNTEER.
The only thing I love more than an empowered coach or volunteer is an EMPOWERED ATHLETE! Make that two of them! The JCMS Girls Soccer Huddle is being led by two of our FCA Leaders on the team! Their first huddle was titled, "She's Not the Enemy!" That preaches and I have found myself speaking this truth to myself a LOT this week!
We go from huddle to home game and we came prepared with FCA pom-poms, clappers, cowbells, and anything else we could find to cheer on our Hurricanes! Not only did these athletes reflect Him and use their platform for Christ, but the girls tied 0-0 and the boys won 2-1!

Spring sports are now in full swing!!! Every Monday at 3:15 PM you can find me in huddle with the MCMS Girls Soccer Team! We are in Ephesians learning about the Armor of God and today we started with the Belt of Truth. It is SO important for us to know what His word says so that we can defeat the lies of the enemy.
After soccer huddle, I head straight to the track for 4:45 PM huddle with the MCMS Track Team! Four students came up to me afterwards requesting Bibles! WHAT?! Two said they didn't have a Bible at all. One said his family has a Bible, but he doesn't have one of his own. The fourth said he has a Bible, but it is one of the REALLY big ones and he would love to have a regular size one that he could carry in his bookbag! WOW. Thank you Lord, we are able to provide Bibles to these kids! I didn't have any with me at the time, BUT that gave me an opportunity to write each of them a note, highlight a verse for them to find later, and deliver their brand new Bibles to them the next morning.
After track huddle, I was back at the soccer field to watch the girls play! I honestly can not even remember the score because I was so distracted by their CHARACTER and how they are using their platform for HIM. These girls are incredible. The way they encourage each other and speak life into each other as they play is something EVERYONE needs to see!

After our last Jasper County Preschool Huddle, an AMAZING woman of God stopped me and let me know that she had something for me. Today, I was able to meet up with her to pick up an entire arm load of these PERFECT "Jesus Loves You" gym bags AND fingernail files that are covered in scripture! I CAN NOT WAIT to get these in the hands of our kids. These are the perfect little reminders that they are loved beyond measure. For just a moment, she was worried that it wasn't enough. I say it ALL the time, but NO gift is too small and I appreciate ALL of it so very much.

The entire Lake Oconee Team gathers once each month and while there is always a LOT of business to cover, we always start by diving into God's Word. Today, we were in Genesis 22 with Abraham and Isaac. I had the BEST time hearing all of my teammates share how this scripture personally speaks to each of them. It is certainly a type and shadow of Christ and a reminder that God is in ALL of the details.

One of the things I have struggled with the most since coming on staff is figuring out how to get volunteers plugged in. I am surrounded by people who are so willing and ready to be the hands and feet, but navigating so many different schedules and giftings is pretty tricky. Today, I was BLESSED to have lunch with someone else who is interested in volunteering and was able to spend some time thinking about how we can best use volunteers in the future. In the meantime, I am SO thankful for the incredible support team the Lord has sent my way!

God is so good! Last week, I was talking to my family about how I would love for FCA to have a Bible specifically designed for struggling readers and kids. LOOK AT GOD!
"Created to enhance readability for young athletes with all levels and varieties of dyslexia and other reading challenges, the Grace Bible, FCA edition, is the first of its kind.
This Bible offers an inclusive approach to Bible reading by utilizing new design principles, such as a distinctive, new font and increased spacing. Nine color overlays are included to help relieve the visual stress some people experience when reading. The durable leather-touch cover makes the Grace Bible perfect for home, the court, the field or anywhere. Special FCA inserts teach young athletes how to connect their faith with their favorite sport. Included are the Gospel sharing tool – The FOUR. A Bible reading method even the youngest athletes can use called Discovery Bible Study and two prayer patterns to enrich their time talking with God." -FCA Gear

Before coming on staff with FCA, Matthew and I were able to attend to FCA Coaches Marriage Retreats at Winshape in Rome, Georgia. This weekend, we were given an AMAZING opportunity. We were able to return to Winshape for a third time. This year, for marriage discipleship training! Ashley, Cody, Kerry, and Doug... thank you for being part of our life-change. We can not wait to share everything we learned!
January 29th, 2026
I was able to start my morning in a Morgan County High School classroom filled with young women eager to discuss the word of God. Harper Patrick has been leading a Bible Study in Ms. Claire Hackleman's classroom on Thursday mornings before school. This morning I was able to join them and bring some breakfast. Thank you, Claire and Harper. Y'all are a BRIGHT LIGHT for Him in Morgan County and I am so thankful for both of you. Speaking of being thankful...tonight was just one of FCA Lake Oconee's Night of Appreciations. We have SO many people to thank that one night could never cover it. WHAT A BLESSING?! I enjoyed hearing all of my teammates share what the Lord is doing across our area.
January 28th, 2026
On January 20th, 2025, just over one year ago, two Morgan County middle school boys lost their lives in a tragic ATV accident. While I did not get an opportunity to meet these two young men, it is clear that Avett Jackson and Bennett Rabern were and ARE loved beyond measure. In December, Bennett's dad, Walt, was the guest speaker at MCMS' huddle. This morning, Avett's parents were there as our guest speakers. Thank you, Lord for speaking through these two families.
January 27th, 2026
I am grateful for any opportunity to share what the Lord is doing through FCA. Today, I was able to share with the Morgan County Rotary Club! I met so many incredible powerhouses in Morgan County, enjoyed a great lunch at Ricardo's Kouzzina in Madison, and was able to answer their questions about this ministry! Afterwards, I headed to MCMS for their Leadership Team Huddle. They meet in the library and I had a moment of awe as I looked around and realized that the library was filled with kids reading THE WORD OF GOD in preparation for tomorrow's huddle. THANK YOU, LORD that I get to see You in public schools every single day. After leadership huddle, I stopped by the gym to see how track tryouts were going! WHAT A TURNOUT! I think they had close to one hundred kids show up! I can't wait to serve the team this season!
January 23rd, 2026
This morning's speaker led the MCHS Huddle through John 15:5: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing." Then, he had us break into small groups to answer the following discussion questions:
How fruitful is your life right now? How well do these things describe your life?
-Helping people with practical needs
-Constantly talking about God's Word
-Calling out sin in a truthful but loving way
-Sharing truth about who God is and how to know Him
-Praying for those around you
-Building meaningful (God-honoring) relationships and pouring into the lives of those people
If you are looking at your life and realizing you are not as "fruitful" as you should be, what can you do to reconnect yourself with the Vine?

Three eighth grade girls, and FCA leaders, at Jasper County Middle School wanted MORE and decided to start their own student-led FCA huddle! They meet every Thursday morning at 7:15 AM on campus. Today I was able to join them as they spoke on James 1:19-21. They titled the lesson, "Handling Emotions in a Godly Way" and it was an ON TIME WORD! Thank you so much, girls, for your obedience to Him.
January 21st and 22nd, 2026
I am in Camp School, "a two-day virtual training designed and required for those who will fulfill the roles of Camp Director, Huddle Leader Coordinator or Program Director at any of FCA’s Camps." I loved serving for the first time at Winter Recharge in December and can not wait to serve at even more FCA camps in the future!
January 20th, 2026
Jasper County Preschool Huddle was this morning, and we learned that on Day 4 God made the stars, moon, and sun. I really love to do something special at each huddle to help these tiny hearts remember His Word and see His majesty.
Thank You, Lord. When I have nothing, He has everything.
A few days before huddle, when I was reaching a new level of frustration over not having any ideas, the Lord gave me the perfect plan. Today, we spent the majority of our huddle “under the stars.” It may have been just a projector on the ceiling, but seeing their faces light up in awe and wonder is something I will cherish forever.
Lord, may I ALWAYS look at You that way.
WHAT A NIGHT FOR HURRICANE BASKETBALL?! I could NOT miss the last game of the season and BOTH teams won!!!
We really dug into 2 Peter 1:5-9 this season, "So don’t lose a minute in building on what you’ve been given, complementing your basic faith with good character, spiritual understanding, alert discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder, warm friendliness, and generous love, each dimension fitting into and developing the others. With these qualities active and growing in your lives, no grass will grow under your feet, no day will pass without its reward as you mature in your experience of our Master Jesus. Without these qualities you can’t see what’s right before you, oblivious that your old sinful life has been wiped off the books."
At our very first huddle, I asked each team to consider the list of 7 building blocks and decide which one they were missing the most as a team. The girls chose passionate patience and the boys chose alert discipline. I found myself whispering and eventually shouting THEIR words for the season tonight: patience and discipline. Tonight, they had it and I am so proud of them.
I also learned a hard lesson. I noticed an athlete in tears, instead of celebrating the big win. When I went to check on her, she explained that an opponent had called her a really ugly name at the end of the game. It hurt. It hurt so much that it robbed her of the joy she should have been feeling. I didn't know what to do or even what to say, so instead I just hugged her and watched her walk away. Hours later, I'm still thinking about it. John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” The highlight of an entire season was stolen from her with one word. I should have spoken life over her, told her exactly who HE says she is, and reminded her that the devil is a liar. I'm learning and asking Him to help me to be quick to speak His word in times of trouble.
January 16th, 2026
Spent the morning at Morgan County High School in Leadership Team Huddle. After taking care of some logistics and business, the team always breaks into small groups for Discovery Bible Study. There is something so special about getting in the Word of God with a small group of believers. In a short period of time, they share their successes and they share their struggles, but they also discover what His word says about both!
January 15th, 2026
Primary school huddles were happening in BOTH Jasper and Morgan County this morning! I was at MCPS, because I had 10 very special guests joining me. It's fun to look across the crowd and spy big kids in the midst of littles. It is a BLESSING to hear those same big kids, our MCMS FCA Leaders, introducing those littles to The FOUR for the very first time. I'm proud of this group and grateful for them.
The evening was spent joining the JCMS cheerleaders in cheering on both the boys and girls basketball teams!
January 14th, 2026
It was a full morning in Morgan County, as MCES and MCMS were having huddle at the same time. I was at MCES with two VERY special guests! Harper Patrick and Jayce Slaughter from the MCHS FCA Leadership Team were the speakers for huddle this morning and did a great job!
It's hard to believe, but today was also my last huddles for the season with the boys and girls basketball teams at JCMS. This season, we worked through the book of 2 Peter. The boys huddle was so different from the girls, but I learned SO much from both. I felt like I saw the girls discovering who God is and building a firm foundation on His word, while the boys were constantly challenging me with the BEST questions!
January 13th, 2026
We had MCMS Leadership Team Huddle today, as they prepare for tomorrow's multi-sport huddle. It was exciting to hear them planning questions for small group! I'm also learning a LOT more of what people might call "Bible trivia," now that I'm on staff with FCA. It is always fun to share what I learn and discover how many others are still learning too! I pray I ALWAYS am.
After our leadership team huddle, I headed to Jasper County to join the cheerleaders in cheering on the boys and girls basketball teams at Jasper County Middle School.
January 12th, 2026
All of the JCMS basketball cheerleaders and coaches were given this journal at their very first practice of the season. The journal contains the entire book of John and space to write. At each huddle, we would dive into our journals and His word. Today, we had our last huddle for the season. My prayer is that they will continue to read His word and write what they are discovering about Him along the way.
January 10th, 2026
Morgan County High School Wrestlers hosted Area Duals on Saturday and I had the honor of opening the dual meet with wrestlers from all three schools joining me on the mat for huddle! The Lord laid a special message on my heart for them: Dead Weight. Hebrews 12:1 says, "...let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles..."
During the huddle, the Lord clearly spoke to me, asking me to tell one specific wrestler that God loved him. Instead of speaking to that young man directly, I took the easier route and announced to the entire group that God loved them.
When the huddle came to a close and I joined the other spectators in the stands, I wrestled with my decision. I knew I had not done exactly what the Lord had asked of me. I kept making up excuses in my mind: I didn’t know the young man, he wasn’t wrestling for Morgan County, and he may have been offended if I had singled him out in front of the group. Still, the Lord would not let me leave until I did exactly what He had asked.
I finally worked up the courage to leave the stands and walk down to the mat. He was in the middle of watching a teammate compete, but I knelt down in front of him and simply said, “God loves you.”
He immediately teared up and said, “NOW I know He is for real.”
We were only able to talk for a few moments, but in that brief interaction I learned that he had wanted to come speak to me, had been doubting who God is, and desperately needed that word.
I’m reminded of how important it is to be sensitive to His voice and 100% obedient to His direction.
January 8th, 2026
The Lake Oconee Area FCA Staff meet as a team once each month, but this month was a little different. Instead of meeting in the office, we were off to a team building activity! I had the BEST time with my teammates. We may be a small team and we couldn’t possibly be more different in personality, but we’ve all been called to the SAME HUGE mission: leading EVERY coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church!
January 6th, 2026
Huddle dates for this semester were released today! Be sure to mark your calendars!
January 5th, 2026
I can't believe Spring is just right around the corner! Today, I am working on scheduling team huddles for our Spring sports. During team huddle, the team gathers to read His word, discuss what they've learned, and pray together. Many teams like to walk through a book of the Bible together, but some coaches prefer to focus on character traits, specific verses, or a particular theme and that works too! Most team huddles are 15 minutes long and happen once a week at the start of practice, BUT they can be shorter or longer and happen more or less often. Looking forward to serving OUR coaches and athletes!

My very first FCA Newsletter went in the mail today! God is absolutely good!
December 21st - 23rd, 2025
The Lord was ever present at Winter Recharge, a life-changing three day FCA camp for middle school and high school students! Students grew deeper in faith and friendship through worship, huddle, and competition. We had 6 campers from our area make a first time decision to follow Christ at camp this year! PRAISE THE LORD! We are so thankful for the people who made this camp happen and the scholarships that allowed these students to experience it!
December 20th, 2025
It's Christmas break and school is out, but Winter Recharge is about to be in full swing! Matthew and I spent the afternoon setting up the Camp Gear Store! I could not do this alone and I could never put into words how thankful I am for EVERYONE who makes this ministry possible! For now, thank you to Wanda "MeMe" Cummings and Shawne "GiGi" Holder for loaning us racks and hangers!
December 20th, 2025
FCA has allowed me to do ministry with some of the most amazing students! Harper Patrick is at the top of that list. She is an incredible athlete, leader, and servant! When she isn't hosting a Bible Study on Thursday mornings she is with me over Christmas Break distributing Happy Birthday Jesus Cake Kits to over 100 families at the local food pantry!
FCA also allows me to do ministry with my amazing husband, Matthew, and I will NEVER take that for granted.
December 19th, 2025
JCMS Huddle was the final hour before Christmas Break and while we were all anxious for the break ahead, there was a cafeteria full of students reading and discussing His word! I am BEYOND proud of one of our FCA Leaders who stepped up at the last minute as today's speaker when the original speaker was out sick. He doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called!
December 18th, 2025
Started off the morning at JCPS for huddle! Then, the FCA Leadership Team from JCMS took a field trip to the Jasper County Community Food Bank, where they packed and distributed over 200 Happy Birthday Jesus Cake Kits!
December 17th, 2025
MCES Huddles are SO special because the message is always brought by their very own ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS! It was such a blessing to hear two children of God share the legend of the candy cane and how we can use this sweet treat to remind us of our sweet Savior this Christmas!
December 16th, 2025
It was "Day 3: God Made the Sea and Plants" at Jasper County Preschool's Huddle! We had the best time "making waves" and seeing our teachers "grow from seeds into trees" this morning!
December 12th, 2025
After a friendly gingerbread house building competition, we enjoyed a word from Pastor Russ Johnson at our MCHS Huddle!
December 11th, 2025
There are not enough words or pictures to capture this morning's MCPS huddle! Thank you, Lord for being SO present as we learned about the birth of your son!
December 10th, 2025
8th grade FCA Leader, Leyland, playing guitar and leading us in Firm Foundation was the PERFECT opening to Mr. Walt Rabern sharing his heart and love for Christ at this morning's MCMS Huddle.
I've still got joy in chaos
I've got peace that makes no sense
So I won't be going under
I'm not held by my own strength
'Cause I build my life on Jesus
He's never let me down
December 9th, 2025
Kids are HUNGRY to know Him! I had the BEST (and most challenging) time with a group of students today making bracelets to remind us of all He has done for us, while trying to answer SO many AMAZING questions about who He is! THIS is what it's all about.
December 5th, 2025
One of the BEST parts of my job is getting to see our coaches and athletes use their platform for Christ! Tonight, 8th grade basketball players and cheerleaders were honored alongside their teacher of choice!
December 2nd, 2025
Morgan County Middle School's FCA Leadership Team started packing our Happy Birthday Jesus Cake Kits today! We will be giving out over 100 cake kits at the Madison Morgan Community Food Pantry this Christmas! Each kit will contain a pan, icing, box cake mix, sprite (to replace oil and eggs), candle, and Christmas card!
November 24th - November 28th, 2025
School is out this week, but we are in FULL planning mode for our upcoming FCA camp: Winter Recharge!
November 21st, 2025
It's AWESOME to be in Huddle bright and early this morning at MCHS! The JCMS Huddle was the LAST hour of the day before Thanksgiving break, but we were still ALL in digging into the book of James.
November 20th, 2025
This morning's MCPS Huddle was FILLED with smiling faces, big hugs, lots of dancing, laughing, singing, reading God's word, and sharing what we are thankful for! My FAVORITE part was hearing what they are thankful for and seeing several come in excited to show off their Bibles. Their Bibles may have been bigger than they are and they may not be able to read every word inside, BUT those little soldiers carried them like TRUE Swords of the Spirit!!!
November 19th, 2025
I have learned SO much from the MCMS Huddle and the teachers and students that lead it. They are amazing and this picture is SO powerful to me. I am overwhelmed by the goodness of God every time I sit in those bleachers, amongst a crowd of students, and listen as one of their teachers reads the Word of God on that court, right beneath that American flag and basketball goal. To avoid the tears, I'll let you put all the pieces together here.
November 18th, 2025
Jasper County Preschool students learned that on Day 2: God Made the Sky! While we may not be able to touch His clouds in the sky, we had the best time keeping our GIGANTIC pretend cloud in the sky!
November 14th, 2025
The MCHS Leadership Team uses Discovery Bible Study whenever they meet as a leadership team! DBS is a GREAT tool! Click Here For More Information
November 13th, 2025
Attended my first FCA Board Meeting today and REALLY enjoyed giving them an update on what God is doing through FCA in Morgan and Jasper County!
Tonight, I had the best time cheering on the JCMS Girls Basketball Team, Boys Basketball Team, and even the cheerleaders! Our cheerleaders dominated the stands, the boys took home the win, and I was so focused on the girls' game that I didn't even capture a picture! Always looking for opportunities for them to use their platform for Him!
November 12th, 2025
Walked out of the Morgan County Elementary School gym this morning hearing….
“I can’t believe (he) did that?! He use to be so quiet! I’m still quiet sometimes. I’m going to ask if I can pray or something next time!”
I obviously don’t know this morning's young speakers like their classmates do, but I PRAISE GOD when the once “quiet” kids are grabbing mics to speak at FCA huddle and tell about The King of Kings!!
This afternoon I was at Jasper County Middle School's Leadership Team meeting. I have to admit it is one of my new favorite things in life! I have the HONOR of sitting in this circle with kids who are ON FIRE for HIM and are diving DEEP into HIS WORD!
November 11th, 2025
Returned to Ms. Small's business class at JCMS to teach a NEW group of 6th and 7th graders about my career with FCA, the E3 Strategy, and Winter Recharge!
November 10th, 2025
I have now been with the Jasper County Middle School Basketball Cheerleaders for four weeks, working through the book of John. When I have a coach, athlete, and parent ALL ask me for a Bible on the same day...I KNOW we are falling in love with His Word!
November 7th, 2025
FCA Leadership Teams are collecting items to create 300 HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS Cake Kits to be given out this Christmas at Jasper County Community Food Bank and Madison Morgan Community Food Pantry.
We also had our first huddles with the Jasper County Middle School Boys Basketball Team and Girls Basketball Team! We learned about Paul, his imprisonment, and his letter to the church in Colossae. We focused on Colossians 3:17 and using the basketball court as a platform for Christ!
November 6th, 2025
After school, MCMS Basketball Cheerleaders had their first huddle! We are going to be reading the book of Ruth this season, so we spent time today reading and rereading the Word paying careful attention to the meaning behind names.

Morgan County Middle School FCA Leaders are starting the GOSPEL CHALLENGE today at their leadership meeting! At each of their leadership meetings for the remainder of the school year, they will be challenged to share the gospel in a new way!
October 31st, 2025
I am so thankful for EVERY ONE who has supported me financially as a home missionary with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I am HONORED to have several churches on that team including FIMC - First Independent Methodist Church, Centennial Baptist Church, Redeemer Church of Madison, the WMU of New Rocky Creek Baptist Church, and the women of Monticello Presbyterian Church. We are in ministry TOGETHER and I am BEYOND grateful. Stewart Community Church heard about a need and filled it. Thank Y'ALL and thank YOU, Lord! Now, people will have NO problem spotting our prayer warriors at Fields of Faith. PLUS, we will be able to use these for MANY years to come for SO many different outreach events! Let's go!!!
October 29th, 2025
This morning, Mrs. Patti Anderson (friend, church family, and FCA Volunteer) joined me in serving the faculty and staff of MCPS! Our goal was to feed their bodies and spirits! We were able to make it happen by giving away Chick-fil-a biscuits and various devotionals and books based on His Word!
October 27th, 2025
Spent the day in our FCA office in Madison organizing equipment/resources for Fields of Faith AND being trained on FCA's new Volunteer Impact Portal (VIP)!
October 24th, 2025
The morning began at MCHS where Youth Pastor Blake Stinnett from Covenant Park shared about God’s presence in his recovery from an accident nearly 10 months ago. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” -Matthew 6:33-34 God certainly isn’t through.
In the afternoon, I had the great honor of sharing James 1:1-18 with JCMS! We are trying some new things at their huddle! First, we are using our huddle to work through an entire book of the Bible this year. Second, we are allowing time for FCA Student Leaders to lead small group discussions about the Word. God does not tempt us, but there are tests!

Hold on tight for my Jasper County Primary School blessing this morning….
I had the honor of speaking at their FCA Hudde.
“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him…” -Romans 8:28
We held up signs that said BAD, SAD, and LOST.
We flipped our signs around and talked about how He turns those to GOOD, HAPPY, and FOUND.
The three girls seemed overjoyed just to be chosen to hold my paper signs.
One asked if she could keep it. Of course, I agreed.
She ran to me later in the day, hugged me tight, told me thank you, and said “In case you dont remember, I was the LOST and then FOUND!”
Me too, darling. Me too.
Shout out to the ENTIRE CREW that makes this possible! MANY hands make this picture happen!

MCMS is working through the book of John in their school huddles! By the end of the year, they will be able to say they have not only read an entire book of the Bible, but they have dove deep into His word. I wanted to remind this group that regardless of the parents they have on earth, we have a Heavenly Father who is absolutely perfect and in love with us.

Jasper County Preschool’s FIRST FCA HUDDLE!!
I can’t put into words how much I enjoyed every second of it. God was in the room for “Jesus Day!”
Thank you to the administration, faculty, staff, and volunteers that made THIS happen. More importantly, THANK YOU JESUS.
These babies learned that on Day 1: God Made Light and they are certainly letting their little lights shine for HIM!
In the afternoon, I had the opportunity to attend the MCMS Leadership Team Meeting to see how they prepare for such amazing Huddles!
Afterwards, I was in the locker room with the MCHS Softball Team diving into the story of Nathanael in John 1:43-50. Other people may doubt us or even look down on us because of where we come from. Do NOT doubt yourself and put yourself down. Jesus knows you, has already seen everything you have done, and is STILL choosing to call you to be His disciple.

1 Timothy 4:12 was the verse the Lord laid on my heart, "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." I wrestled with it, because I was afraid it may have been overused, BUT God. He spoke TO ME on the keys I had been missing in this verse all along.

Two elementary school students brought the Word this morning at our MCES FCA Huddle! I remain in AWE of the way He is moving through these kids!!!!
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” -Romans 8:28
This afternoon, I was sitting in a classroom with this Bible and JCMS’ FCA Leadership Team. I did NOT want to leave that room! I can’t believe I get to spend my days diving into His Word with kids!!!
Side Note: From the very beginning, Mrs. Patti Anderson has been pouring into this ministry by bringing me bags and bags of Bibles and devotionals! It’s beautiful to see how SHE is doing ministry WITH me. Anyways, this NIrV Adventure Bible was in one of her recent deliveries. It is written on a 3rd grade level and has been an AWESOME tool to have in picking apart the word with groups of ALL ages. Thank you, Mrs. Patti. 100 fold.

Started the day at Morgan County High School's 7:11 AM huddle! Ended the day with the football team, sharing a word the Lord gave me. There is a difference between being CHILDISH and CHILDLIKE. We weren't called to be childish, but we were called to be childlike (Matthew 18:1-5)! Being childlike, however, does not mean we aren't bold! (Hebrews 4:14-16). My one-year old scrapes his knee and RUNS to me with arms stretched high. He doesn't hesitate (BOLDNESS) because he knows I love him and want to help him, but he also doesn't try to fix the problem himself (CHILDLIKE) because he trusts that I can solve it. We can approach Him without hesitation because we know we are loved and wanted, having faith that He is in control!

Attended Jasper County Primary School's FIRST huddle of the school year! I remain in awe of what He is doing in OUR students through OUR teachers!

Students at Jasper County Middle School and Jasper County High School participated in See You at the Pole, a student-led movement of prayer, while I spoke on John 1:19 - John 2:25 at Morgan County Middle School's Huddle! People are watching you, do they see Jesus? Jesus is ALWAYS watching, are you turning to Him FIRST in time of need AND are you standing up for what's right in the name of the Lord?
In the afternoon, I loaded the bus with MCHS softball to pray for them as they headed to their game! Then, dove into Proverbs 24:11-12 with the middle school softball team! "Rescue the perishing; don't hesitate to step in and help. If you say, "Hey, that's none of my business," will that get you off the hook? Someone is watching you closely, you know- Someone not impressed with weak excuses."

Fed the Morgan County High School Varsity and JV softball teams a snack and the word before their practice/game. Spoke to them about not getting Jesus "to-go." If we want our cups to be running over, we have to live our lives sitting at the table with Him - not just getting "a sip" at church, huddle, or whenever we have a minute.
