I’ve been involved in BBYO since 8th grade, and it has become one of the most meaningful communities in my life. Starting in sophomore year, I joined my chapter board as Mazkir, then served as Moreh during junior year, and now as Shaliach in my senior year. Each position has challenged me to grow as a leader, connect with others, and support my chapter through planning, communication, and engagement. I’ve dedicated countless hours and a lot of energy to BBYO because embracing my culture and background is incredibly important to me. Through this organization, I’ve built strong friendships, strengthened my identity, and learned how to create inclusive spaces where people feel welcome and proud of who they are.
