Legos have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. The first “big” set I wanted was the Lego Death Star in 2016, right after I watched my first Star Wars movie. This set had around 4,000 pieces, which was a huge leap from the 200 piece builds I was used to at the time. But sure enough, on the last night of Hanukkah in 2016, I opened the box and finally had it in my hands. That memory is still so vivid, not just because it was my first major build, but because I built it with my dad. It’s a moment I’ll always hold close to my heart.
Most of my Lego sets are based on the Star Wars movies, because after watching the first one, I was hooked. I fell in love with the entire series, and luckily, Disney and Lego tend to collaborate often, releasing endless Star Wars sets to collect and build.
However, my collection goes beyond Star Wars. Some of my favorites include the Titanic set and the Eiffel Tower, which is currently my largest build at 10,000 pieces. I love displaying all my sets to show how something amazing can come from creativity, and the willingness to take on a challenge. To me, Legos are more than plastic bricks, they’re proof that if you put your mind to something, you can build anything.
