The house optimized for effective well being, leveraging layout, biology and tech.
The Idea
Developed around it's name "Flow house", this concept aims to optimize the flow of its owner, providing optimized well being, saving energy and effort for the things that matter.
This design, truly optimized for strong daily routine, healthier lifestyle and efficient work habits.
Behind the layout:
Waking up to the sun, sky birds and optimal temperature and lighting conditions for your body, this house leads you step by step for creating the behavior necessary for a healthy lifestyle. After this wonderfully gentle waking, the owner is guided to a weather check "station" with patio access just off the primary walk in closet to allow good judgment for that days apparel. The owner is the guided to a day check and plan area where they can reflect and refine their schedule while setting their mind for the work ahead. After all the preparation bases are met the owner opens into a large naturally lighted garden facing gym optimized for the main pillars of mental and physical health (strength, mobility, cardio and cellular health). The gym then breaking off to the laundry room and primary bath. After freshening for the day the owner is lead straight to the office that shares a wall with a meditation room, to keep the mind fresh. Paired next to the kitchen, out door area and optimized meal area, the owner may take effective and healthy breaks as needed without interfering with any entertainment based or higher traffic areas of the house.
If the owner works away from home, their path leads out a quiet area far from any bedroom, and when they come back they open to a cozy social environment with aesthetic accents with clear and easy paths to both the kitchen and their bedroom setting the at home mood whilst removing the mental energy of navigating, normally, poorly designed home floorplans (going up and down stairs, long circling walks when you forget something etc. . .).
My thoughts:
This concept was an absolute joy bringing together my knowledge in systems, tech, health, and design. The challenge of piecing these together in a sensible balanced matter whilst creating a realistic build was absolutely stimulating, and a great learning experience.
