About the Film - Parker Schulz

I wrote this short film as a metaphor for talking about your mental health. As a young man and just a human in general, I know that opening up and talking about how you're feeling is difficult, and it can be very hard to ask someone for help. The character of Zach, played by A-P, is wrestling with this can (his mental health)  while trying to hide it from his friend. I believe it's a powerful visual and we had a lot of fun making it.

We shot this on an iPhone 14, and it was our first project that we used a keylight and our lav mics. It was a learning curve for sure, but it was well worth it. We're super proud of what we made, our first full completed project. We had a lot of fun shooting it, especially the pee scene.
