Privacy policy — BenBuilt Macros and BenBuilt Macros Pro (Android)
Effective date: October 13, 2026
Developer/operator: Benjamin James Fuqua (BenBuilt)
Privacy contact: benbuilt1970@gmail.com
BenBuilt Macros stores profile inputs, calorie and macronutrient targets, body measurements and saved assessments in private app storage on your device. BenBuilt Macros Pro additionally stores client names, contact details, notes and separate client assessment histories. Pro users are responsible for obtaining any necessary client consent.
These Android versions do not use accounts, advertising, analytics, Health Connect or remote data storage. They do not send your entered records to the developer. Android cloud backups and device-transfer backups are disabled by the app configuration.
When you export a CSV/PDF or share an assessment summary, Android asks you to choose a destination or recipient. That destination may be another app, a cloud drive or another person. The selected destination's privacy practices apply to information you choose to send. External resource links open your browser or another installed app; those third parties have their own privacy policies.
You can delete individual saved assessments. Pro lets you delete a client and their assessment history after confirmation. Uninstalling removes the app's private local records. Exports you already saved or shared remain at their destinations; delete them there if needed. There is no cloud account to delete. Client archiving retains the record and is not deletion.
Local records are retained until you delete them or uninstall. These apps are intended for adults and reject calculation ages below 18. They are not medical devices and do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.
Contact the operator at the address above with questions about this policy. Update this policy whenever the app's handling of data changes.
Google Play handles Android app purchases. The apps use one-time paid downloads, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases. The developer does not receive your payment-card information. Google handles purchase records under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
If you contact support, Gmail processes your email address, message and attachments. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot, and retain it only as needed for support or applicable obligations. Do not send client records or other sensitive information unless necessary. You can request deletion of support information by emailing the contact above.
External resource links may include promotions and discount codes. Some qualifying purchases may earn the developer a commission. Those websites handle information under their own policies.
If this policy is hosted on Google Sites, Google may process technical information such as your IP address and browser information. We do not add advertising or analytics scripts to the policy page.
