My continuing education ...
I recognize my white, straight, cisgender, male privilege, and acknowledge that it affords me social and economic benefits that others may not receive. I am committed to continuous learning and perpetual improvement in behavior and cognition. It is my personal goal to make use of my social and economic privilege through contributions of my time and money to disadvantaged individuals and communities.
Anti-Racism Organization and Action
The fight for racial equity is one that takes effort from all, especially from white folks like myself, who must learn from mistakes and expend effort to grow. Below are a few steps I've found beneficial in this effort:
Personal Action
Remain thoroughly aware about how my actions affect people of color
Analyze my past cognition and behavior to establish additional ways of improving
Support organizations run by people of color financially and culturally

Personal Action:
Remain thoroughly aware about how my actions affect women and those other than men
Analyze my past cognition and behavior to establish additional ways of improving

Piano
I have a Roland FP-10 electric piano that I love.
After studying improvisation in the context of organizations, I've become determined to become a good improviser in my life.
It is TOUGH, but I've noticed some tiny improvements in my off-the-cuff piano playing.
From ungodly to almost-bearable, probably.
My goal is to be able to play open-ended for a long while, creating both something people would want to actively listen to and something people would enjoy in the background.
And something that doesn't cause severe ear pain, bleeding, screaming children, etc.
Malcolm, my pup, accompanies me with vocals.
