On 26-30 September, members of the Be My Life Buoy project from Greece, Italy, Spain and Turkey visited Medelynas progymnasium in Lithuania. The main theme of the meeting was peer education. The activities of the visit included tolerance, empathy, communication, challenging and coping with social isolation and defending cultural bias. The aim of this activity is to support our peer volunteers to provide effective leadership to their refugee and returnee peers. The activities were held for both teachers and students. The activities and discussions focused on potential problems that refugee and returnee pupils face on a daily basis in the project partner schools.
