REGULATION

1 - "How to resist in today’s world" is an online selection of works that will participate in a collective exhibition of ideas, during the World Social Forum 2018, during the period from March 13 to 17, 2018, organized by the Bem Comum, a project of the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Bahia, which promotes a space for meeting, reflection, debate, formulation of proposals and exchanges.


2 - By asking "How to resist in today’s world" we invite people from all over the world to share their answers, opinions and proposals in the form of images and / or texts. Each participant can submit a maximum of two (2) works. No party representative or military organization is allowed to participate.


3 - In order to participate in the call, people should submit their works via the online application form <https://goo.gl/forms/ZMdG5aPSRTUv1p022> from February 5 to 28, 2018. Ideas must be presented (regardless of language, technique and / or nature) in gray tones or p & b in A4 format (vertical) or derivatives . One to two arquives can be attached to the form. Name the file(s) with your name, country and a serial number (eg. Joao_Pereira_Brazil_01) and drag to the upload location in the formulario. Each file must have no more than 2MB with 1200 pixels on the larger side.

Late sumissions and entries that were nos sent though the application form and sublissions that that do not comply with the principles of the World Social Forum will not be accepted. All entries that deal with the theme and that meet the principles of the WSF( Letter of Principles available at http://ciranda.net/IMG/pdf/carta_de_principios_do_fsm-1.pdf) will participate in the collective exhibition of ideas "How to resist in today's world?" That will be held at Cañizares Gallery in Salvador, Brazil.


4 - Of the works that are inscribed and that deal with the theme that meet the principles of the WSF, a commission, composed of 3-5 local artists and teachers, will make a selection (considering the relation with the theme and approach) that will be released on 12 / 03/2018 on the event page. The works selected by the commission will be projected in external space in Salvador on 03/17/2018 and will compose a digital publication.


5 - For the exhibition, the works will be printed (in A4 format, 0x1 color, on sheets of colored paper) by the organization of the event and glued on the external walls / internal walls of the gallery; the exhibition can be re - presented in other spaces, up to two years after the WSF - 2018 and adapted due to the better adaptation to the new exhibition contexts. The works of the exhibition may be linked to strategies for dissemination and communication of the event (website, catalog, invitation, press and social media), without bringing any type of burden to the organization.


6 - The author and the contents of the work are the exclusive responsibility of the participant, who exempts the organizers of the exhibition from any claim or action of copyright by third parties. The act of registration and submission of work implies acceptance of the conditions of this regulation.
