Terms of Use for Serenity App

Welcome to Serenity, an app developed by BelWare Studio. By using Serenity, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Use of the App
Serenity is a relaxation app that allows you to play audio, save mixes, and enjoy a calming experience. You may use Serenity for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the app or its content without permission.
Interfere with the app’s functionality, such as introducing viruses, malicious code, or attempting to disrupt the app’s services.
2. Saved Mixes
You can save audio mixes in Serenity for personal use. You are responsible for any data you upload or save in the app. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the loss of your saved mixes or unauthorized access to your data.
3. Advertisements
Serenity uses Google AdMob to display ads, which help fund the app’s development and maintenance. You agree to the display of these ads while using the app. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or any interactions you have with advertisers.
4. Intellectual Property and Licensed Sounds
All content in Serenity, including designs and code, is owned by BelWare Studio or our licensors. The audio tracks provided in Serenity may include sounds licensed from third parties. These licensed sounds are credited within the app (e.g., in the credits or about section), as required by their respective licenses. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works of any content, including the licensed sounds, without permission, except for personal use within the app (e.g., saving mixes for your own use). The audio provided in Serenity is for in-app use only and may not be downloaded, shared, or used outside the app.
5. User Conduct
You agree to use Serenity responsibly. Do not:
Upload or share content that is offensive, illegal, or infringes on others’ rights (e.g., copyrighted material without permission).
Attempt to bypass or manipulate the app’s features, such as ad display or audio playback restrictions.
6. Third-Party Services
Serenity uses third-party services like Firebase, Google Analytics, and AdMob to provide analytics and ads. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which you can review at Google’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Serenity if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Upon termination, your saved mixes and any associated data may be deleted, and we are not responsible for any loss of data.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Serenity is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your expectations. Audio playback and other features depend on your device and internet connection, and we are not responsible for issues caused by these factors. Use the app at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
BelWare Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Serenity, including data loss, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes any issues arising from third-party ads or services.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email (if provided). Your continued use of the app after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
