The Belmont Bulletin is our school’s student-run newspaper. We give students a chance to share their voices, cover important topics, and keep the community informed about school, local, and global news.
Articles are released about every two weeks. If a deadline falls on a weekend or school holiday, the release will usually move to the next school day.
The maximum number of members is 20. If we reach that number, up to two articles may be released daily, which means around ten articles a week.
Articles should be informative and educational. Topics may cover school events, local or international news, tips for students (like studying strategies or college prep), or features such as entertainment, sports, or opinion pieces.
Yes. Once the Belmont Bulletin has at least seven members, we will begin giving out an “Article of the Month” award. This will go to the person whose article gathered the most interviewees or the largest poll response.
