Bellevue Physical Education Department
Dear Parents,
I would like to welcome you to the Bellevue Physical Education Department. Physical Education is an integral part of the total education program. It is that phase of education which provides an opportunity, through activity, for physical, mental and social growth. This development can assist in meeting the physical challenges students will experience at different stages of life. It is our mission at Bellevue Middle School to empower all students with the tools needed to sustain regular, lifelong physical activity throughout high school, and adulthood.
Under normal circumstances, students would be required to dress and participate in a Bellevue P.E. uniform. Due to current circumstances surrounding Covid -19, we will not be allowed to dress out. Physical Education class will focus on skills, drills and activities involving little to no physical contact. All students will be required to wear or bring tennis shoes to class every day. Please inform the teacher if you have any concerns with your child participating in any physical activity.
Your child has been given a detailed list of rules, procedures and grading policy. Please review them carefully with your child and do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. You can contact Mrs. Brown or Coach Harris at 416-4488 or brownlg@scsk12.org and harrisbt@scsk12.org.
