Phil lost a big one when it broke off. Didn't even get to see it. But yesterday when he caught the 22" Bass, he got his hook, line and sinker back! Put both beauties back in the lake for others to enjoy also!

This last weekend, I took my Grandson, Christian Johnathan James Melrose (CJ) fishing with me. He is in kindergarten. His first time. It was very exciting for both of us. When he is wrestling around in the house with his sisters (Olivia and Roxi-both older than him), he seems to be getting pretty big, but out on the lake, I realized how little he really is. I felt it was such a privilege that his mother (my daughter-Kelli Melrose) let him go with me. Thank you, Kelli! We had a lot of fun, and even caught this little trout. Folks asked me if he caught it. . . well, we consider it kind of a group effort. I can't wait until next time. . . Lance Childers

COLD morning but we bundled up and went fishing. I warmed up fast when I caught this 12 1/2" Crappie! The first Crappie I've caught since moving to Arkansas 24 years ago!

It was a gorgeous day on the lake! Warm. Sunny. NO WIND! Sandi was super excited about catching this 15 1/2 inch Crappie that weighed 2 lbs 2 oz!

Within minutes Phil caught his Crappie that measured 13 1/2 inches. We had a GOOD day on the lake!
