BRRA: Run For You, By You

The Association is pleased to announce that, effective May 1 , Bellaire Ridge Residential Association, Inc., (BRRA) is a self-managed homeowners association.

The new approach offers the board, and hence homeowners, more control and visibility over the day-to-day running of the association.

Where needed, we will continue to draw on professional services such as book-keeping and tax preparation to supplement the skills and time of its volunteer board.

BRRA continues to be run for its homeowners by its homeowners. Please join your board in welcoming this exciting latest chapter in our association.

Contact Information

Board members continue to be available to assist homeowners with any questions, concerns or suggestions regarding the association.

With the transition to the Association becoming self-managed, members of the board will now serve as the primary point of contact for all questions regarding the Association.

See the Board page for contact information for each board member, and to make it even easier to contact us, the association also has a new email address: brrafwtx@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you.

In addition, the Association has a new mailing address for all postal communications: P.O. Box 16281, Fort Worth, TX  76162.

On-street Parking

Please be courteous in parking your vehicles in our neighborhood by paying attention to the following:

We appreciate you reminding your guests about these parking requirements and  helping to keep our community safe.

Smart Watering

A reminder that Fort Worth has year-round outdoor water use restrictions to maintain and encourage water efficiency:

Monday

Tuesday & Friday

Wednesday & Saturday (even)

Thursday & Sunday (odd)

For more information on water usage see the City of Fort Worth's guidance on SmartWatering.

Garage Sale

We were glad to hear that the recent community-wide garage sale conducted on April 1 was a success for all those homeowners who chose to participate.

The board appreciates the efforts of Mary Fletcher for having coordinated this event. It was a great opportunity to get rid of clutter and to get outside to meet neighbors!

Please remember that our HOA Covenants only permit garage sales or similar activities on dates established by the Association.

If there is interest then we anticipate that there will be another opportunity for homeowners to participate in a community-wide garage sale in the fall.

ACC Requests

A reminder that most changes to a property or landscaping, including any visible from the street, require an ACC request to be submitted and approved before work commences.

As required by state law, the Architectural Control Committee is comprised of members independent of those serving on the Board. We are grateful to the three members of our community who volunteer on this Committee: Laura Ikeda, Glen Oliver, and Tim Wegienka.  They are responsible for reviewing all proposed changes to ensure adherence to the architectural guidelines set out in the Association’s governing documents.

Please use our ACC Request Form, and submit it well in advance of your planned project. Please be sure to complete all sections of the form to aid the committee in understanding the requested change. The ACC is permitted up to 30 days to respond, and typically tries to address most requests within about one week of receiving all required supporting details.
