Costumes

Costume Fitting Days: Please wear bodysuits and tights to the costume fitting. If you do not have a bodysuit and tights, wear as tight fitting clothing as possible, as costumes will be tried on overtop of the bodysuit.

Fitting Days: October 18th & 19th:

October 19th Fitting Day Schedule Here  (All other roles) 

Schedule: Please arrive for your window! All the costumes for your dancer's role (or yours!) will be pulled out at that time. There are a couple of flex times listed on Sunday, if your scheduled time does not work for you. This is a big project, and ensuring we see everyone throughout the weekend makes a big difference with moving forward in the next steps of our Nutcracker Administrative work! 

Costume Deposit:  All costumes are owned by Bella Dance. A $50 cash or cheque deposit per costume is required for non-studio families. The deposit will be returned to you when costumes are returned clean and in good condition.  Active studio families will see a fee posted on their account but not processed. If costumes are not returned clean and in good condition, the deposit will be processed to the card on file.

Once you receive your dancer's costume, please take it out of the bag and hang it up! Some may need one more round in a 'wrinkle release' setting on a dryer - they get pressed and cleaned, but then put back in the garment bags. If your dancers costume has tulle (a tutu type skirt), please hang it upside down so that the tulle remains bouncy and flat. 

In your costume bag, there may be tights or accessories. Please use the tights given to you, and not other ones you may have - tights match each character, and if you have a different brand, they may look different on stage compared to the other members of your group. Ensure that accessories (hair pieces, ties, ribbons, hats, etc.) stay with your costume and make it to the theatre and back with your dancer. 

Costumes MUST be returned to Bella Dance Academy between December 1st and 3rd, from 4:00 - 8:00. Any costumes not reutrned will be subject to the $50 costume deposit fee.
