I just picked up my box of supplies from Christine and Paul and I am so excited to get started! I am most excited to practice field sketching with water color pencils (in geology we usually end up working with a regular old pencil) and seeing what my local soil and water samples can tell us! I will add photos to this page as our week progresses, and look forward to seeing your photos on your website throughout the week. 

I'm a field scientist with a lot of experience studying rivers in Puerto Rico. Below I've included some photos of me collecting samples and standing in a stream at one of my field sites, where I collected many of the same data and samples as you will collect for ESAT.
