I'm a fourth year doctoral candidate in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources and a Gund Institute Graduate Fellow at the University of Vermont.
My overarching research interest lies in human-environmental interactions. I am curious about how historic environmental decisions impact those living today, the diversity of timescales on which environmental changes occur, and how we can use this information to better steward the land that we are entirely reliant on. I use a wide range of field, laboratory, analytical, and computational methods to explore these questions.
In my spare time, I love making kombucha, baking sourdough, skiing, hiking, crafting, spending time with my dog Duncan Idaho, and learning more about the environment and geology of Vermont.
