About Belanger Media Group

Belanger Media Group was born in the early 2000s alongside Curtis Avison of Avison Entertainment, stepping up when SoundTrax Entertainment suddenly closed after the owner’s abrupt move from Michigan. With a shared vision of delivering punctual, reliable, and fun entertainment, Curtis and I quickly took charge, ensuring that no event was left without a DJ. By the fall of 2003, I was DJing 3-5 nights a week at the buzzing second-floor nightclub at Taps Sports Bar in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. In 2005, I made the move to Sebring, FL, where I hit the ground running by DJing and managing the print media for the Hive Nightclub. Since then, my weekends have been filled with weddings and events across Central Florida.

While rocking weddings, Curtis and I noticed a gap: photographers often left after the first dance, missing key moments. So, we picked up our cameras, and the results were fantastic! After capturing over half a million photos and investing in professional gear, our photography division was born. My mission remains the same, whether behind the decks or the lens—your vision, my expertise. From weddings to concerts and any moment worth remembering, I’ve got it covered.

As a digital native, I started designing web pages just a few years after the internet began and refined my skills at Western Michigan University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree and managed web content for 14 departments within the Division of Student Affairs. Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver, I blend creativity with technical know-how.
