BILA.outdoors and Risk Management
Every activity led by BILA, is comprehensively risk assessed and shared with all participants ahead of the activities. BILA will only use tools and fires under supervision of a qualified ITC Level 3 Forest School Leader, whom is up to date with OfQual - Outdoor Education and Paediatric First Aid. Equipment owned by BILA will be of good quality and regularly maintained and renewed, to meet the purpose of the activity and needs of the clients. Mr Andrew Smith is the sole trader for BILA and may use the support of additional coaches and establishments, whom have the required license and ability to provide the service. The quality and service is provided from thorough planning and experience in keeping all people as safe as possible. However, accidents can happen and BILA intends to provide a level of risk that all clients manage themselves. All activities are taken under the participants own risk and liability waivers are signed by participants. BILA is currently a voluntary service and non-profit. Participants cover the activity and fees and may choose to voluntarily support the time and guidance from the BILA coach. All participants must agree that BILA personnel will not be held accountable for injury or harm. BILA can help mitigate the risk and guide you appropriately, but participants are voluntarily taking their own risk and insurances.
