Hi! My name is Don and I have been a mathematics teacher at the middle school, high school, and college levels for the past 13 years. I have taught and tutored many different mathematics courses including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, IB Maths SL, IB Maths HL, and university level Calculus I and II. I take a lot of pride for being a passionate, patient, and caring teacher. I enjoy watching my students achieve success both in and out of the classroom. I work very hard with students and parents to ensure that students are achieving the highest levels possible in their math courses. Teaching is my passion and my calling in life. I have established a reputation as a patient, understanding, and empathetic teacher. I enjoy it when the “light bulb” goes off in a student’s head. I know students struggle in math. I did too!! However, I know how to make the complicated simple and the difficult easy. I am looking forward to meeting more students from around the world. In my spare time you might find me training for half marathons, playing golf, or playing with my beautiful three-year-old daughter :) I live in the Los Angeles, CA area.
